My boy Marquez has accomplished a whole lot in the sport. I will re watch all his masterful victories for years to come, or as long as were free in this country. He had many blood and guts fights. We can't say that about all fighters who are self-proclaimed the greatest. He is a master defensive counterpuncher, but will and does engage in battles. He doesn't duck and dodge on his bicycle all night. He's never quit and leaves it all in the ring. Where most sheeple would just accept a unjustified loss and move on, a loser. He is an unreasonable stubborn bastard that goes against the current. He has tenacity and grit. Look up those two words. That's what the forefathers of this country had when establishing it. Even though today it's complete tyranny. He stands firm on what he believes is right and will do anything it takes to succeed. No matter what anybody says. That's a man. That's what it takes to succeed in this sh1thole world. 95% of the population is not willing to do that. It even shows in all the Marquez haters. They can't comprehend him being so determined and stubborn about going for, eventually, one bad ass knockout of one of the best fighters to ever live. That would have never happened if he just laid down, went into fetal position, accepted it and moved on. If it's too hard most people won't do it. Any negative comments this will surely prompt are quantity on this forum, not quality. They wont change my life or Marquez's legacy. Just had to get this off my chest. All I got to say is it's been great to be able to watch the great Manuel Marquez through the years. However, one thing is for sure; it's time to hang them up brother. Just try telling that to the face of a determined man.
