My boy Marquez has accomplished a whole lot in the sport. I will re watch all his masterful victories for years to come, or as long as were free in this country. He had many blood and guts fights. We can't say that about all fighters who are self-proclaimed the greatest. He is a master defensive counterpuncher, but will and does engage in battles. He doesn't duck and dodge on his bicycle all night. He's never quit and leaves it all in the ring. Where most sheeple would just accept a unjustified loss and move on, a loser. He is an unreasonable stubborn bastard that goes against the current. He has tenacity and grit. Look up those two words. That's what the forefathers of this country had when establishing it. Even though today it's complete tyranny. He stands firm on what he believes is right and will do anything it takes to succeed. No matter what anybody says. That's a man. That's what it takes to succeed in this sh1thole world. 95% of the population is not willing to do that. It even shows in all the Marquez haters. They can't comprehend him being so determined and stubborn about going for, eventually, one bad ass knockout of one of the best fighters to ever live. That would have never happened if he just laid down, went into fetal position, accepted it and moved on. If it's too hard most people won't do it. Any negative comments this will surely prompt are quantity on this forum, not quality. They wont change my life or Marquez's legacy. Just had to get this off my chest. All I got to say is it's been great to be able to watch the great Manuel Marquez through the years. However, one thing is for sure; it's time to hang them up brother. Just try telling that to the face of a determined man.
should've retired after pac iv. his performance vs bradley showed his struggles when he's forced to chase and his unsportsmanlike attitude after the loss took some took away some luster. if he doesn't get bradley, I hope he gets a crack at the other title holders at 147.
I dont know how Pac fans can actually hate on Marquez. He's the Vegeta to Pacquiaos Goku. Hes always been obsessed in beating Manny ever since the first fight. Hes seen Pacquiao arise to the top of the sport of boxing and envied much like in dragonballz lmao And HEY Vegetea used to always kick Gokus butt too!!
Haha thats perfect! Vegeta and Goku never thought of it that way

Do you not see my avi? I am a Floyd fan bro.
I'm just saying, Juan was never able to knock Pacquiao down or out but he does it in the 4th fight.
Juan landed those right hands countless times but with Memo he can ktfo6 Pacquiao.
Nothing suspicious
Spot on!
I predicted a win for JMM in the 4th fight but on points, the KO was incredible. That exact same right hand landed on Pac from JMM multiple times and Pac was barely staggered, this time round he was dropped twice, HEAVILY and stopped. That's some dodgy **** *****!
And what floyd **** sucker made this thread, are fools really puttin Thurman in the same league as Pac, even this version would beat Thurman up for 12 rounds. It would derail the kids career.
= Paquiaos worst nightmare!!!
nightmare = afraid of... giving JMM all due credit, Pac isn't afraid of stepping in the ring again, JMM on the other-hand...
Green karma sent your way dude, this is a great post. Whether or not you're a fan of Juan Manuel Marquez you can't deny his greatness and ability to do things in the ring that others only dream of. Juan Manuel Marquez has given us great fights throughout his career and has always left everything in the ring, he deserves to retire with dignity and utmost respect from the fans and fellow fighters.
The green karma is much welcomed. Thank you Tyler.
Marquez is Pacquiao kyptonite to superman. A great fighter on his own but he should never hired Heredia after drinking his own piss didn't work against Pacquiao.

I think he should fight Chris John for big $$$ in Mexico City or Macau for his fight and last fight. One of the best Mexican boxer with awesome resume.
I have been a Marquez fan for many years and he is a proven great fighter. If there is something about him I don't like it is that if a close fight doesn't go his way he is a real cry baby and a sore loser. The Pacquiao fights he says were such robberies were actually pretty close fights that many people thought Pacquiao won even if more fans thought Marquez won. To hear Marquez tell it they were the robberies of the century. Then after Pacquiao gives him the rematches he wanted and the fight ended with him the KO winner he won't show Pacquiao the courtesy of a rematch that Pacquiao twice showed him. As for his fight with Bradley he again says this was a huge robbery when the vast majority of people who saw that fighter thought Bradley was a close but clear winner.Being a sore loser is my only complaint about Marquez. I think he is an all time great fighter and he is fighting amazingly well right now for a 40 year old.

JMM is a tremendous warrior who had incredible talent. He may have somewhat tarnished his rep slightly with his antics recently after the Bradley loss and refusing to fight Pac again but I compare him to RJJ in that respect. He has accomplished so much in his career, he can really do whatever he wants and I'll still only hold him accountable for what he did prior to the last Pac fight. I don't see him "falling off" like RJJ did after Tarver but even if he did, I would think no less of what he has accomplished.
Super great fighter. But he should of just retired after the PAC ko. Nothing else to prove period. Now he is kind of always talkin how he got robbed and the more he talks about Bradley it just seems like he is whining. Great fighter one of the last warriors of the sport, blood, guts, a lil piss. Never ducked from what I have seen.
