I respect him a lot but i really dont think he wanted it in the first place.
He was hesistant to sign and kept holding out. In the lead-up he looked like he knew what was coming and wasn't looking forward to it.
The only way i see him wanting part 2 is if its the last good money fight available for him.
Anyone recall Alvarado's fight night weight? I feel like he might of been draining to get down to 140, he's 5'9 and that was a huge beating from Provodnikov of all punchers.
Alvarado is done IMO. He might be able to pick up a win and get his name back in the mix, but the wear and tear is starting to show. He might be able to beat Rios bu that's about it. He should stay away from Ruslan or any other puncher for awhile.
Great question. My first reaction is: No…the beating Avalrado took was just too much. On the other hand, Mike's a tough guy and after the pain (mental and physical) passes, he very well may want another crack at him. I predict the same outcome, tho.
