After both McCall fights I started calling him Lummox Lewis. In the first one McCall knocked him out cold. In the second fight McCall suffered a nervous breakdown. I remember how extremely cautious Lewis was, he was more apprehensive than he should have been for an alleged pro fighter.
Bumsquad has about 5-6 months to run his trap before his retirement party, then the boxing world will rejoice.
Because the gypsy queen just beat a nobody? Wilder will clean hi sissy plow in rematch. Why do you think they ran from the rematch? I knew this fight would be a stinker.
Maybe you didn't see Joshua's last fight. He looked like crap against a sub mediocre opponent. Funny how people talk about Ortiz now. He was only undefeated with 22 KOs before this fight, with everybody ducking him. I have no doubt that he would given AJ all he could handle. I have yet now to see Joshua fight any real opponent other than the seriously diminished Klitchko. Let's see if AJ can get by Parker.
F*** Anthony Joshua he sucks! Joseph Parker kicked his ass! That's why he fights in his hometown all the time to make sure he gets the win.Darn right. Plus the sanctioning bodies are going to go out of their way to protect that meal ticket. Joshua won that fight, but not nearly by the margins on the judges fight cards. I get the feeling that they had a meeting the week before and said any reason you can find to give the round to Joshua, do so. I don't think any fighter has an ice cubes chance in hell to get a fair shake in a Joshua fight.
That green belt deserves a true champ not that skinny loud mouth protected bronze bummer, he has no where to run to now, Eddie would offer him some more money, then we see what excuse Wilder and Shirley Winkle got to say about that...
Sorry, but Edwina's the scared one here. Mighty big meal ticket to lose.
In before the Wilder mentally challenged ........ GROUP !
Miller is undefeated and would be Wilders second best win.
Wilder HIMSELF has said Duhaupas was the toughest guy hes fought so far .
“That’s easy – I’ve gotta give it to a Frenchman by the name of Johann Duhaupas,” Wilder explained.
“He was the toughest. We went, I think, 11 rounds and he was taking everything. I remember in the fight, I was like ‘damn, this motherf***taking everything, he’s taking all these punches."D. Wilder
Miller just went 12rnds and didnt ever have trouble ( look at Wilders face after he fought Duhaupas ) .
Not only will Joshua continue to build on his legacy ( he actually has one ) with top guys he will do so while Wilder fights guys Joshua has ALREADY defeated .
At the end of the day ,Wilders fans should just shut up bc should the Breazeale fight take place it will be the SAME guy they called a slow fat punching bag with no skill ........
Who Joshua ALREADY defeated in his 17th fight ! :cool2:
Top guys????? The best that Joshua has faced was a greatly diminished Klitschko, and that was life and death for him. He has looked like feces in his last two fights. Great shades of Primo Carnera!
As a boxing fan for over fifty years I feel AJ still has a lot to prove. I certainly would not crow about dispatching a severely over the hill klitschko , who before that was a participant in hands down the worst heavyweight championship bout I've ever snored through. As for his last fight, if he is so great he should have knocked that mediocre fighter out in one or two rounds. Having said that, as hard as it is to believe, Parker stunk the place up even worse against Hughie Fury. He looked as if he were waiting for a bus. If Parker does not come to fight once again he will find himself looking up at the lights on his butt. If he decides to use his talent, which he does have, it will be an interesting night.
If your boy Joshua is so sure (which I think he isn't) giving Wilder 50% should be no problem, because if he wins that figjt (which I don't think he will) he will have a license to print money.
He is undeafeted with better names on his resume than nearly anyone. Whyte could put up his against AJ, but no one else can. And Joshua beat Whyte. You fight in the era you are in, and Joshua has done enough to be the bell weather cow for this current generation. To argue anything else is silly. Fury's only win of note was Klitschko one fight earlier from Joshua's, and Joshua KO'd him. Wilder has 2 real names on his resume, and couldn't beat one of them.
Joshua is far from perfect, and is beatable. But if you are unimpressed with him, you may as well drop down a few divisions and enjoy the 175 and 200 divisions, because there is very little out there besides the big three in the HW world, and Joshua is the man.
Yeah, like Prince Charles Williams
Most of Joshua's fights are boring. I had to ***** slap myself to stay awake during the Parker and Takam fights. Afterwards I cursed myself out for making time to see some of the lowest quality boxing ever.
Another half empty stadium coming up for bum squad , 4 year dodging the unifications he promised were coming soon . Klitschko, Fury, Martin and Parker all still waiting, fought none of them when they had the belts .. worst heavy weight champ in history ... should be called the heavywait champion because all he says is wait.
Just like Madison Square Garden this Saturday? Checked the box office and there are PLENTY of seats at reasonable prices anywhere you look on the seating chart. Nobody here knows who AJ is, and don't seem to care.
I have never really been a Dillian Whyte fan but let’s give the guy the benefit of the doubt. He beat Chisora, Helenius & Browne to get in this position. All 3 are top 20 HWs. So Breazeale, Pulev or Ortiz stand in his way for a title shot. He has a legit shot of beating all of them. So it’s Ortiz or Pulev in final eliminators to get a shot at Wilder or Joshua. Anyone who gives Whyte grief for choosing Pulev is a diluted fool. Joshua is the payday everyone wants. If I was whyte I would go the Pulev route as he has A Bulgarian following while Ortiz has little supporters but die hards. Pulev leads to Joshua. That is where the money is...
The fact that the fighters you mentioned are in the top 20 shows the sorry state of the division.
Joshua might take a down from one of them windmill overhand rights, but he'll box Wilder's ears off badly
Nothing but talk. Deonte seems to be faster and more fluid than the robot. He catches Tina Joshua and it's lights out.
The shot caller Andy A side Ruiz is about to get told where to go and when to be there. I know the haters cant stand it but Andy signed that contract. You just guna have to live with it.
True. Andy better bring his own food, water soap, and anything that comes in contact with his body in locked steel containers, and fight like hell on judge and referee selection. I am sure that they will go to great lengths to steal those titles back.
Any attempt win or lose on your part Fury would still be entertaining.
Please attempt to do so.
Yes. Even though he was involved in hands down the worst title fight I've ever seen, I can't help but love this guy. Never a dull moment, and so sincere and authentic. He believes in himself like very few others. We all have issues, and the fact that he is trying to deal with his makes me like him all the more. He's like the Gypsy King Ali
The only fighters of note Joshua has faced is a faded Klitschko and Joseph Parker who he was very tentative against. Other than that it's been bouncers and cabbies. Surprised no one's noticed that Joshua looked like **** in his last two fights, and was life and death against a shot Klitschko.
Are you new to boxing?
Whyte has the worst boxing fundamentals of anyone in the division, he literallly fights like hes drunk most of the time.
AJ definitely not the most skilled either, but hes got size and reach to make up for lack skill.
Wilders technique is awful too, but he would massacre whyte in a few rounds.
I concur esteemed sir
Takem is a blown up cruiserweight that if Joshua was half as good as they say, should have legitimately knocked out and not needed a gift stoppage. As for Whyte, anybody would look good knocking out Mr Softee.
lennox lewis was knocked cold twice by light punching journeyman
True, he was knocked out by Rahman and McCall, but to his credit was able to get the victory in rematches. Say what you will about Lewis, but he never, ever ducked anyone.
I have no faith fron guys who let their guy face one good opponent his entire 40 fight career over the guy who has fought better competition in half the amount of fights. Gee...
Except for a greatly diminished Klitscho, the fighters that the robot has fought are maybe half a degree above cab drivers and bouncers, plus he has looked like crap in his last two fights. I see nothing close to impressive in Joshua.
Funny how the draft dodger in chief won't approve of this. The master of deception and deflection is a confirmed racist antisemite who says there are very goid white supremacists and neo Nazis. If my dad was still alive he would ask why all of a sudden people are concerned about disrespecting our military. He and his Marine buddies came back from the Korean war to face racism that was worse before they left for the war.
What kind of split do you think is acceptable @ this point? I think Wilder KOs Fury in the rematch, and then Wilder will have earned 50%! However if Joshua beats Ruiz and Fury, he'll still be deserving of 60%! Skills aside, Wilder is the most exciting fighter in the game!
Even though I thought Fury won on points , the knockdowns, especially the second one sent Fury running into the sweet, loving arms of Bob Big Daddy Arum. May never be a Fury rematch.
