No because if Broner wins then Lucas will become an overrated cherry pick who hasnt fought or beat anyone.
I agree 100% man I have seen a lot of back pedaling on this site
I honestly can't see Bubba beatin Lucas
By robbery, maybe.
Lucas spanks him silly. Broners nothing but your typical African American hypejob. A mini Jeff Lacy.
this isn't a lucas vs broner thread asking who would win.
I asked IF BRONER BEAT LUCAS WOULD YOU THEN GIVE HIM HIS RESPECT/PROPS..........that's all i'm asking........and btw dan what does him being african american have to do with anything?
I think you got a little too excited over watching that video. It is very exciting to watch, but that is a faded De La Hoya. He always fades late in the fight. Pac and May will always be better. And also, I think there's reason to believe Mosley was on PED's back then, but can't remember if it was during this time.
That may be so but that was still a prime or very close to prime golden boy....and after taking heat during the course of that fight i'm sure he had no choice but to fade lol
Mosley wasn't slick. Oscar won exchanges. Far lesser fighters than Pac won exchanges. Pac throws just as fast and is very unpredictable in the middle of a firefight.
Mosley's a brawler. He was never slick, or smart, or hard to hit. I'm not saying Pac destroys him, but I would feel good picking Pac in that fight. To act like Mosley was ever as good a fighter as prime Pac or Mayweather is vastly overrating him.
To say a prime mosley wasn't as good a may and pac in their prime is vastly underrating him.....
That was young, prime Shane with his reflexes, movement, handspeed, and power. He gave Pacquiao cramps from just moving a little bit on his feet and not really doing anything else. He also survived against a version of Pacquiao that was supposed to knock him out. 2000 Mosley beats any version of WW Pacquiao. Mayweather has his hands full but because he boxes way better, he'd be able to outbox prime Shane.
I respect your opinion but look at the ricky hatton fight he had problems keeping him off of him most of that fight, you see how relentless a prime shane was on oscar, that version of shane>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ricky hatton and shane was alot faster, elusive and hit way harder than ricky hatton. by that second half of that fight pbf would be wore down considerably from eating all of that leather
No it sure as hell is not better than Pac's best. You sound like you're overrating Oscar as well. Not surprising, a lot of this site overrates both Oscar and Mosley.
EDIT: I'm not sure about Mayweather. You may be right there, I'll need someone to start listing the wins they think are comparable before I say for sure about that.
It's a little late to back pedal now man, you in the Lions den now son.......
and BTW in your opinion what's pac best win?
No its not. Pac has beaten far better fighters than Mosley ever did, and Mayweather beat the same caliber of opponents more convincingly.
The mosley victory over a prime golden boy is better than any pbf victory he might have on his resume and it's equal to pac's greatest win also
I disagree. I'd pick both Pac and Mayweather at their best welterweight forms over that Mosley.
You see the way that version of mosley was exchanging with the bigger stronger golden boy and he never stop coming he took everything oscar threw and came back for more............
People will probably say he would've lost to Vernon Forrest, but I disagree. The toughest fight on Mosley's resume for Floyd would have been Winky. And possibly a younger Oscar, but I still give Floyd the edge.
You really think he could take a prime vernon and winky twice? wow......
Didn't I say the Winky fight would have been his toughest fight? I can't say who could have won, as it's pointless (yet fun) talking about match ups that never happened, but I think it would have been a difficult fight for Floyd.
No, I don't think Forrest would have won. RIP to him, but I think he gets a bit overrated on here, good fighter with a great jab, but I don't see why he's so highly regarded.
You must of must all of his fights pre mayorga..............
Jackson hit harder at 154, no argument there.
The only thing is, Jackson didn't carry his power past 154lbs. at all. Very bizarre, but he hit like a superhero at 154, but like any average fighter at middleweight.
Hearns carried his power all the way to cruiserweight and even heavyweight in some cases.
I agree............
I would favor a prime forrest over everyone at welter including floyd
Thurman and maidana could be some spoilers similar to mayorga
at 154 forrest would find much harder fights vs lara and molina IMO and kirkland and angulo would be very tough to for him
He's a better boxer than everyone on that list @154
I think Floyd beats Forrest all day. At 154 Id favor Canelo off the top of my head but wouldnt be shocked at all if Vernon won. Id favor Lara but wouldnt be shocked if Vernon won. P4P Id pick Forrest over those 2 but at 154 Im not completely sold on him beating big strong or skillful guys
The current mayweather is not beating the absolute prime version of vernon forest come on now man.........anybody serious about this game would know that.....that version of forest of one of the best pure boxer's I ever saw.......
A lot of lhw beat Roy
Not a lot of SMW because its a pretty new division
At mw there is a handful of guys that would be competitive
Antufurmo has no chance vs prime roy
A lot of LHW's such as who?
Oh god..... He gets his ass beat by plenty of Fighters.
This unbeatable Super Roy Shieet needs to stop.
What fighters man? I'm not saying your wrong, i'm just asking who?????
Defintely one of the best LW's of all time.
Maybe top 40-50. He didn't really live up to the name Sugar.
The other 2 sugars are BOTH normally reffered to as the greatest of all times, as far as Ray Robinson and Ray Leonard.
I agree a top 5LW IMO
Broner would never beat guys like Porter and Garcia and still be undefeated no matter how dedicated he would be to his craft...he just isn't skilled enough man. He has too many flaws, unbelievable people still cant see it smh.
That's the point man! he if was dedicated to his craft, he would of noticed flaws and had switched/brought in new trainers to work on things.....those flaws would of been gone by the time he stepped up........, he stepped up to far to soon imo also.....
under a trainer like JDJ he would prolly have started letting his hands go and knocking people out......
Guys it's time to move on, larry stepped up and made a bold predition cause he believed in the kid, but he let us all down, by not taking his craft seriously.......had he he would be undefeated and amking huge money by this point.......his predition didn't come true, i respect larry for being MAN enough to step up and make a predition about a guy he believed early and not just wait for the bandwagon like everyone else.........that said we all get it wrong now and then. TIME TO MOVE ON GUYS, and stop riding a guy, cause he got one wrong....
