anyone and everyone who says the fight wasn't close needs to get their eye balls checked like Max Kellerman.
I had the fight 113-112 Bradley. I think Ruslan could've beat him if he didn't allow Bradley to hit him, then again, Ruslan is a Brawler..
Pacquiao vs Mayweather
Pacquiao vs Bradley II
Pacquiao vs Marquez VI
Provodnikov vs Rios
Alvarado vs Rios III
Maidana vs Khan II
Khan vs Garcia II
Garcia vs Marquez
Broner vs Marquez
Garcia vs Broner
Khan vs Broner
Ghost vs Ortiz
Maidana vs Ghost
Matthysee vs Maidana
Matthysee vs Broner
Mtthysee vs Khan
Pac said it himself he was fighting relaxed in the fight. I mean if you pay attention you can just tell he was just taking it easy because he knew he was winning the fight.
If you look how Pac fought Marquez before he got KO'ed he winning the score cards. Realistically if you take how skillful Pac fought against Marquez theres no doubt Bradley wouldn't be able to take it.
I admit Bradley did take Marquez to school but we all have to wait for Rios Pac. If Pac shows no decline, I still give Pac the win over Bradley. If Bradley says he's gonna fight toe to toe and brawl and go after him then its great for Pac and everyone knows why.
Gamboa gets too careless, with his fight against Farenas he got caught too many times. Nonito will thrive on Gamboa's mistakes. I think Nonito's speed and power will be his best weapons against Gamboa if they fight.
I doubt Ruslan will fight Manny because they're both under Roach. idk if Ruslan's official trainer is Roach but Pac would take the W no doubt. The brawling tactics for Ruslan leaves Pac to capitalize on every mistake, Ruslan would just eat too much leather.
provod vs manny/rios winner seems like the next logical fight.
Winner of that fight would be logically I agree, however I just really doubt Ruslan and Pac would fight on the basis that Pac wins if he wins. It wouldn't be logical if say Pac wins and Ruslan fights Rios if he loses but I believe Ruslan regardless would take the fight. I honestly believe out of all the options I had given, I firmly believe a Rios vs Ruslan fight would be a hellacious war and mosdef be fight of yr (probably 2014).
All of those fights would be great except for Guerrero IMO
From a "fairness" or "deserving" perspective, I would say a rematch with Bradley, or the Manny-Rios (as much as I am split on a potential manny fight) winner would be the most logical next fight
Why not Guerrero? I think everyone would love to see the rematch for the action, personally I'd like to see the rematch as well but I don't want Bradley coming out on top. I want Ruslan to break Bradley by knocking him out.
I can understand why ppl side with Floyd, it only makes sense. Pac took it easy on Bradley and he did get knocked out but even if people claim he will lose if he fights Mayweather you can't officially know till it happens.
I'm a Pac fan but I'm not trying to be biased although the two fighters are from different companies I don't believe its impossible. Aside from all the technical stuff going on.
I get the Mayweather talk. I get Roger, I get get Floyd Sr. and Jr. but I'm siding with Pac here, like Pac said, if he's so "easy" to be beat then its good for him! beat him! if he's easy just get it on. its simple as that.
I'd like him to fight Broner, Bradley, or Provodnikov.
I think the first two are understandable but I say Provodnikov only because I'd like to see how well he does against a true brawler.
To me it's the best offensive fighter in the sport vs the best defensive fighter.
Neither fighter has had any trouble with anyone, they deserve to fight each other. And I don't think either would be hard to convince. These guys both want the challenge.
Make it happen./QUOTE]
I completely agree with you bro.
Who the hell wouldn't be? The winner of that fight is one of the best fighters in the world/QUOTE]
I was just mentioning only because I have found no news about just a possibility between Garcia and Rigondeaux fighting.
I didn't mention this but I'd really be interested in a Ruslan vs Garcia matchup only because I'd love see to Garcia's chin put to the test. Not to mention the Garcia's daddy loves to smack talk, Ruslan's fist would do his part of the talking.
I had thought Matthysee would beat Garcia but I was proven wrong. I'm anxious to know how well Garcia would matchup against Ruslan. Whether Garcia wins or losses if he were to fight Ruslan I wouldn't be surprised only because Garcia could simply box Ruslan and win or be overwhelmed by Ruslan and lose IMO thats how I see it if the fight were to play out.
All of those fights would be great except for Guerrero IMO
From a "fairness" or "deserving" perspective, I would say a rematch with Bradley, or the Manny-Rios (as much as I am split on a potential manny fight) winner would be the most logical next fight
ehh Ghost did good against Berto tho and Berto was a favorite. not to say Berto and Ruslan have the same fighting style but both are big punchers. I have Ruslan winning against Ghost but the fight would be in the middle I think not too big of a win margin.
I would like to see two such excellent fighters fight each other. Rigo has no trouble making weight and has said he will not go higher. Any fighter who wants to fight Rigo will have to fight him at his current weight. I can't fault him for that. Garcia is one hell of a fighter but I don't think anyone will beat Rigo.
Awh man.. why doesn't Rigo wanna move up? I honestly think Rigo should move up though. I don't really think that Rigo will encounter problems if he moves up. Not to say Rigo is like Floyd but both share same similar motives, with the motive of simply hitting and not getting hit I believe Rigo would be fine if he moved up.
Bradley Rematch
JMM
Manny Pacquiao
Brandon Rios
Danny Garcia
Lucas Mathysse
Keith Thurman
Victor Ortiz
Marcos Maidana
Man, a lot of options! :boxing:
OH I FORGOT MAIDANA! I think that would be a very good matchup as well! I'm not sure about between Prov vs JMM tho. With JMM fight between Bradley I think he was a little too careful. Whats for certain is that JMM didn't perform as well as he did with his recent victory over Pac. I have this itching feeling JMM would take it too carefully with Ruslan if the two fought.
First of all Garcia and Broner aren't on the lvl or close to of Money May, second, Broner and Mayweather will never fight simply because they claim themselves as "brothers".
Personally, I would say the people who can fight Mayweather atm regardless of what everybody says are: Bradley, Pac, and Marquez. Atm Bradley has the upper hand but he is pair with Top Rank. I say Pac and Marquez simply because everyone wants to see the prior and with the later, although he does not match the skill of Money, he does have the exp.
I don't see why everyone says Khan vs Mayweather would be a good fight, yeah Khan has some speed but Khan isn't on the lvl of Mayweather nor has the experience.
Why should Khan get to fight Floyd if he couldn't get past Garcia? It doesn't sum up.
it's so ignorant how people can simply say Floyd can SCHOOL Pac. I am a fan of Pac but I do think the fight will be hard for BOTH. until then I won't believe it till I see it. Pac is now all open for the fight and has been for a while so it's simple up to Floyd.
I mean even if their are company disputes I don't think its impossible. If Floyd thinks he can beat Pac then ****ing do it. Pac is waiting and called him out that if he can beat him then its good for him to do so if he says he can.
At the end of the day if the two don't fight Pac at the very end remained opened to it and ultimately Floyd will be blamed for never taking the fight and will be bashed for not making the possible greatest fight of all time to happen.
Yeah it was a boring mismatch (with a shit undercard to boot), it became apparent that Rios had no chance of winning but Manny didn't have the killer instinct or KO power to take him out. This crap should have never been on PPV (glad I didn't spend a penny on it), but you had these idiots here claiming this would be can "all action fight between two warriors worth 70 bucks." LOL
if you have two fighter whose style is offense based *cough Rios and Pac ofc you're the "prediction" will be that it will be a high action fight? sense when has Rios or Pac fought defensive? you can't answer that. can you blame people for believing that it would be a high action fight? absolutely not. in your response to manny's killer instinct or KO power he wasn't even looking to knock him out, his game plan was to simply out box him.
look at Rios vs Alvardo, ppl thought it would be a high action fight and it was. not to say both had the same attributes but its safe to say both were of the same caliber. when you look at pac vs rios, pac had the significant speed advantage so that simply negates the statement of a "high action" because as you could tell from the fight rios couldn't take it. when speed is significant its apparent that exchanges would be difficulty between the two only because pac's speed dictated the fight.
Lucas showed against Danny that he has some trouble with hand speed and combination punching. Easy work for Pac.
Mosdef agree with you. Lucas couldn't handle Danny's speed so it only makes sense that he wouldn't handle Pac's speed and let's not forget the power.
It doesn't matter if Pac fans want the fight or not because its not happening!
-BOTH are under the same coaches
-BOTH have sparred each other (Ruslan has helped Manny for numerous fights)
-RUSLAN had stated himself he has no ambitions nor wishes to ever fight Pac because of the respect he has for him. If I could find the site which said this I would gladly bring it up
IF the two fight... Pac wins it.
Why?
Brawlers are one dimensional fighters. Pac's speed, footwork, and use of angles would out do Ruslan just like it had done to Rios.
I personally wouldn't want the fight happen to anyways because its an awkward match up especially with the same coaching staff and when the two are actually great friends.
-Chris has the size, height, length, and the movement however if Pac lets loose and lands his flurries it questionable how Chris will be able to handle it.
-Chris hasn't faced anyone like Pac and even if Pac is diminishing Chris still has to deal with Pac's speed and power.
-I give props to Chris's movement but as I said it'll be interesting to see how well Chris deals with Pac's speed and power
As soon as I started following Provodnikov I always knew that he'd never face Pac. BOTH are under the same trainers and BOTH are good friends. lets not forget that Ruslan was Pac's sparring partner in preparation for a fight.
IMO I feel that a rematch with Bradley would be nice or matchup with Rios. Idc which fight he takes but I know mosdef a matchup with Rios would mosdef create fireworks like Rios v Alvarado and I have an itching feeling they could be bigger.
Both Ruslan and Rios are very similar I feel a matchup between these two would prove who is the better user at the style.
