Roach's job is to train Pacquiao, there was a time he was put in his place.
Thank you, I tired of seeing Roach talk all the time. I see doing video now talking about who his fighter going to fight and who he's not going to fight. I mean he a trainer not the promoter. His job is to train his fighter to beat anybody they put in front of him no matter who it is Mosely, Mayweather, Margartio or God himself. Do his job and get his fighter prepared and let the mangers,Promoter and Network people do their job.
Pac vs Mosely
Juan Diaz vs Victor Oritz
Clottey vs Berto
Haye vs Adamek
Marcos Madana vs Juan Urango. I'll bet the house some gets knockout in this one.
And I want to see them in one nite for free on ABC.
I think at the time they signed Formen, they weren't sure how long Berto was going to be out. Also I think Berto people want him with a Title holder as soon as possible. I think they want him to keep busy until one of the Three(Pac/Mosely/Floyd) become open to fight.
I think the Berto vs Quintana fight in April, will still be a good fight. I would to see him fight Clottey. I don't think Cotto will stay at 154 for long so him vs Berto could still happen.
He might just be, but I know some people will say Richard Steele. Back in the late 80's and early 90's there was alot of talk about him being the worst and that he was in Don King's pocket.
Any fight can be boring but it's not always the loser fault. Fight that are won by one fighter being far supior then the other, seem boring to some becuase their is no back and fourth action. When a fight become into that type of fight, I stop execpting it to be back and fourth and starting watching how the supior fighter is albe to break his opponent down. So I still find it to be somewhat exicting.
What about fights like Taylor/Froach, a fight where by all count he was winning, then in the last round when he got KO or a fight like P.Magili and J.Diaz where Paulie won the fight in the eyes of people who saw the fight but the judges saw it the other way and robbed the real winner of the fight.
I tried to come up with something smart to say to end my statement but I got nothing.
I do, I think Martinez will put up a good fight til the 7th and get caught pulling back with his hands down like he does, and Palvik will step foward with a flush right hand and KO time.
Man yall fast, by the time I wrote this there is already several posts.
David Lemieux age 21 won 21 (KO 20) + lost 0 (KO 0) + drawn 0 = 21
rounds boxed 49 KO% 95.24 - middleweight
Vanes Martirosyan Age 23 Won 27 (KO 17) + lost 0 (KO 0) + drawn 0 = 27
rounds boxed 117 KO% 62.96 - Light Middleweight
Kell Brook Age 23 won 21 (KO 14) + lost 0 (KO 0) + drawn 0 = 21
rounds boxed 78 KO% 66.67 - Welterweight
Saul Alvarez Age 19 won 31 (KO 23) + lost 0 (KO 0) + drawn 1 = 32

Kevin Mitchell Age 25 won 31 (KO 23) + lost 0 (KO 0) + drawn 0 = 31

rounds boxed 116 KO% 63.16
these prospects are lighting up the charts atm.
I hope Saul lives up to the hype. Seems like he could be the next Mexican Superstar.
David Lemieux seems that he could be put in with some tough guys and win or lose he is going to put up a fight.
Yeah I think from round 8, Manny kept telling him to throw more, and around the 11th round Manny was pissed. He even followed Wlad to the middle of the ring when Wlad got off the stool early.
I think Jones will be. Both are hall of famers but Jones in he prime was something special and a talent that have never been seen in boxing. He was lighting fast and did think that you should do in the ring and got a way with cause of speed and skills. Even if Hopkins beat jones on, Jones will be remembered more then Hopkins.
I looking forward to those fights. I think Cambell and Paulie are going to win. Nate is to schooled for Oritz and gets on the inside of him, Ortiz will try to stand and trade. Ortiz is a good fighter but I don't know if he can handle being in another war just yet. I just think Paulie is going to box Khan to a UD.
I think his only cherrypicking move I have been critical of is fighting David Diaz over Casamayor and fighting Cotto over Shane.
Yep,He choice to fight David Diaz was the one fight I have a problem with. If he wanted to be the LW Champ then he should have fought N.Cambell who was the champ at the time. He just beat Juan Diaz for the title and was looked as the real LW Champ. I wish he would have fought Cambell instead of D.Diaz. I also would have loved to see him Fight Juan Diaz, I think he would have won but I think that fight would have been a barn burner.
I go with Taylor to win by late stoppage due to cuts. If Taylor stood his ground and jab like he could when coming up, I can't see how williams gets past it. Willaims would walk straight at Taylor and if Taylor jab was strong enough of to hold him back and make him think twice about coming in to land then Taylor wins.
I support if it, if it can be used in all title fights. I think that all that sanctioning bodies should agree to one system to be used in all title fights. Right now there are to many drifferent rules for testing, each state make the own set of rule, and some states don't even test, and I don't even know what some countries do.
You have to also think about what OST might do to fighters that come up with false postive from other meds, such as cold meds. Will fight be canceled, or purses be fortified if someone test postive. I support it but I think it going to take alot work to get a good working system.
Also you have think about the cost, wich I heard was around 100 thousand dollars, which why I think it could only be used in title bouts.
Have anybody seen or heard of it movie theathers. I was looking at the local movie theathers time of show and notice it was on there. I don't know if it just this theather showing it or all of them.
Yes it could if the person using the shoulder roll would counter in between his shots. Jones didn't do that, he was fine with laying on the ropes trying to wait for Joe to stop punching, wich he never did. If he rolled the first two or thee, then counter with a shot hard enough to keep Joe from throwing the fourth and fith shot he could won or got the KO, cause he would have landing cleaner shots.
A prime Tito would get the late round ko. Pac would get a early round knockdown cause Tito always got put down in the begianing of fight. Tito was beat by fighters that used a good stiff jab and lots of them. Pac would come in land a good combo but on his way out would get caught with a long straight right hand and lights out. Tito was one of the most accurite punchers ever and did not waste punches and Pac has shown that he is capable of being hit clean, so I don't think he would win.
Why some fighters were left out I had a hard time understanding until I saw that Jermain Taylor was their marketing gimmick. Jermain Taylor was HBO's pet and the media attention he got after dethroning Hopkins was free marketing for Showtime. Realistically Taylor should not have been in the tournament because he was previously KO'd by Froch and probably would have been if they fought again at the begining of the tournament.
I agree, that 100% Taylor should not have been in it.
