Lmao. Mofos bringing up GGGs age need to go sit on his lap or sumn. GGG was supposed to knock him out since Nelo wasn't on the juice right? Canelo came and fought toe to toe with him and best him at his own game whilst maintaining his counterpunching ability.
GGGs concussive power is one dimensional. He fought a world championship Calibre fighter and couldn't adjust. Canelo took it to his body and went headhunting whenever he felt like it. Face it, whether you love or hate Canelo, he left no doubts about his heart and his abilities with this fight.
I had it 116/112 for canelo so it is what it is
So here comes the " He's old excuse" yet bhop was 47+. Give it a break. Did you have GGG picked. He got bullied plain and simple. The **** you let the smaller man back you " Most feared middleweight of All-time" up ALL night. Gtfoh!! Ps..... And he fought your Mexican style!! That's game.
NAILED IT!!!!! Spot on bro
Nobody tunes in to see Khan box....Everyone tunes in to see how badly he gets KOd.
He's a joke of a fighter, a has been. Known for his quick hands, but mostly for his GLASS CHIN. We get it, hes looking for a payday, but he's become quite the annoyance over the last 5 years.
Joshua never quit, he said he wanted to continue, but the ref stopped the fight, WHY?!
Why isnt there any controversy surrounding the stoppage?! WHY!!
Either you're incredibly dense, ydksab, or both.... The fight was stopped for OBVIOUS reasons...one being he was knocked down 4 times. A few others being his body language, him spitting out his mouth piece, him not defending himself, and him not following instructions to come forward when the ref waved him to come forward.
Joshua was toast. Hearn also has no quarrel with the stoppage. Why? Because it was obvious to anyone who knows anything about boxing that Joshua was done after round 3.
Spare us the controversy; there is none. Joshua lost to a better, more prepared fighter that night. That's the bottom line.
Additionally, all this **** about "what happened prior to the fight In The dressing room" has zero to do with his flat-footedness, his stiff posture, his inability to time punches, his lack of head movement, and most importantly his suspect chin. It's also a marvel that he was able to knock down Ruiz because, as some of y'all claim, something just wasn't right with him.
Bottom line, Joshua will bounce back (hopefully, because he is actually really good for boxing) in incredible fashion and get some of these big name fights under his belt. He will lose those big fights, but at least they will happen.
Well, part of the issue is that the casual fans have this undying desire to see Floyd lose. And, as part of that, they have an infatuation with Pacquiao, as he is deemed the closest thing to Floyd. Since Floyd dismantled Pac, with ease in my eyes, the casual fans won't accept it (following Manny's dispute of defeat) in hopes of having one more opportunity to bring Mayweather down off his throne...The only problem is, it's never going to happen. Even if they fought 20 times, the result will be the same. He doesn't have enough tools to beat mayweather.
Now, the respect part comes in from his humanitarian contributions. I have to respect what he has done for the Phillipines. I cannot respect his adulterous behavior.
People are quick to harp on Floyd for his alleged abuse....It's never been solidified by evidence (photos or otherwise) with the exception of sworn testimony...Yet Pac has openly admitted to drug use and womanizing...yet he is praised...Interesting.
FLOYD, thanks to the internet and social media, millions of people across the world now know that ERROL SPENCE gave you raccoon eyes in the gym, and guess what? if that was a real fight, he might have done your eye just like GGG done kell brook's eye- he might have broke your damn face in half. it just goes to show that all your years of delaying and completely avoiding certain fights, just what might have happened if you had fought a real one, or fought certain people in their primes. thank you for showing us "THE TRUTH", ERROL. you're a ****ing real one, forever!
and much respect to kell brook too. you did something Floyd would never do- you took on GGG, instead of always talking ONLINE about how you WOULD school him, HYPOTHETICALLY. some people say you only fought GGG for a payday, but now that you're facing ERROL, it clearly proves why you really fought GGG- for pride, belief in yourself, and extreme courage. congratulations to FLOYD for his business sense, and his "retire, return & repeat" money grabbing tactics, but i'm happy boxing is slowly returning to fighters fighting not only for a prize, but for pride and courage, too.
I don't think you have a single clue about what you're talking about lmao. You're joining the part of the rumor mill...a very OLD rumor mill at that.
:loser:
You have to understand where Khan's coming from. Brook has about 35 fights, has fought almost at home all his life, he has fought bums and hasn't built a brand. Khan feels salty because that's like being used to give Brook a payday and undeserved exposure. On the other hand Khan took risks, he left the comforts of home and faced more dangerous fighters. HE has been in championship fights, fought dangerous people like Maidana, Prescott, Garcia, Peters on, Judah, Collazo etc.At that stage in his life Brook wouldn't have got past all of them without getting knocked out. This is personal.
Had Brook been fighting good fighters this match would have been a no brained. TbH all Brook brings is a belt. Khan and Froch have been fighting and taking risks so when they turn down domestic rivals who want to piggyback on their reputations please understand.
Seriously??? You do know that Brook beat a very dangerous Shawn Porter right? A Shawn Porter who, at one point in time, beat out Keith Thurman as the #4. Please stop
I'm far from a Canelo or Khan fan...But all of this hate being thrown at Canelo, and for what? At present moment, he is the biggest draw in boxing. He has made his demand (albeit a pretty silly one) that he will fight GGG @ 155 or there will be no fight. GGG is holding steadfastly that he will not fight below 160. So there's that fight.
People keep forgetting (and might I remind this forum that most of you all were relentless is criticizing Mayweather for this also) but boxing is a sport in which people get PAID. The objective is to win and take home the biggest prize, belts and money alike.. Don't criticize neither him nor Khan. Outside of Kovalev/Ward, Ward/GGG. Alvarez/GGG, this may very well be the biggest fight of the year.
Kudos to Khan though....Clearly this dude has a death wish...His desire for money far surpasses his rational thinking. But hey, if he boxes smart, and lands clean...He may have a chance
Winner by 6KO- Canelo
Manny Pacquiao will go down, in Boxing History, as one of the All-Time great Welterweights.
Love him or hate him, he always brought the excitement (excuse the Mayweather fight). Pac will be missed the most by the fighters currently in boxing looking to cash in on an older, past prime fighter, that still generates cash unlike any other boxer currently in the sport. Missed by Amir Khan more than anyone, should he not get Pac's farewell fight
Ride off into the sunset Pacquiao...you've done well.
This guy....is the Amir Khan of trainers...he just wont stfu. His fighter has yet to face any REAL opposition, yet he thinks he is the ruler of the division. GTFOH and STFU.
Just like Keith Thurman, In My Opinion, hasn't fought any true competition. The most impressive name on his resume is Robert Guerrero...Which we know, no fighter is the same after getting dismantled in a Mayweather fight the way he did.
Andre Ward, Roy Jones & every HOFer agree Crawford is the MOST dangerous at 147. Either they or you have an agenda against the best fighting the best. Hmmmm???
LMAO. No agenda. Just the facts. They are basing his "Danger" on what he has done at 140....NOT at 147. That much, I can guarantee you.
A lot of these same HOFers said that Mikey vs Spence was a 50/50 fight....SO???:sigh1:
Amazing fight. It's a shame people on this board cannot appreciate it for what it was. Complaints about how old Wlad is. About how inexperienced AJ is. I mean, seriously? This is boxing, right? Where real champions take on all challengers, especially superhyped prospects like AJ. And in my opinion, AJ is rightfully hyped. The kid showed true grit and heart to get off the floor from an absolutely crushing right cross, that would probably had knocked out the average heavyweight.
Instead of applauding the reinvigoration of the heavyweight division, people are talking *****. smh. The Wlad that fought last night would absolutely beat Tyson Fury and probably give Wilder a good run also.
I'm, anxious to see Wilder vs Joshua though. That will make for a good fight. I see Wilder taking the Stiverne approach and boxing from the outside. His stamina is superior to Joshua's. idk. I'm just happy to see an exciting fight in the heavyweight division again. its been years!!!!
While I wholeheartedly agree with his assessment of the contenders in the welterweight division, Mikey is simply not ready to face any of them; not even a Jeff Horn IMO. Skills pay the bills, but if you are soft in the body, have zero head movement, you will be out-muscled and punished in the welterweight division. Mikey needs to focus on 140 for now. Fight Prograis next.
That's ridiculous and biased, no way Shawn only won 3 rounds. The biased commentators and punch stats really swayed some people tonight.
LMFAO what??? The commentators were biased in Porter's favor, if anything! Wtf is wrong with you people....prolly the same type of people that voted Trump in office.
Bottom line:
Jrs Legacy is
1- he never was about fighting the best
2- he ducked the prime elites when it counted
3- Aduckus da chicken
4- if Jr goes to the ropes with lesser opponents don't you think GGG would put him there and then purt near KILL the poor little chicken????
Sure he would and Jr Knows it and that right there tells listen ears that he will NEVER fight Triple G the Great
LMAO...you're putting entirely TOO much stock in Golovkin...WHo has he beaten, that is a household name in boxing...TELL ME 1 PERSON...
OK THEN..until he beats a fighter that is known by all boxing fans, both casual and true, stfu about comparing GGG to the likes of anybody Floyd has fought at the championship level. JUST STFU
That's why your son Floyd Mayweather Jr ducked khan on two occasions? lol idiot.
dude....Put the crack pipes down.:twak:
what you MEANT to say was, Khan has been ducking Brook...for all of the last 3 years if not more.
IDIOT
if that were true he would of had haymon make the brook fight awhile ago
Except the Brook fight is speculated to be a big fight, in England only. The bigger, more global name is Manny Pacquiao. That's undeniable. Not only will it do great on PPV but it will do great for a live gate. :boxing:
I told all you haters and “YOU” people that Joshua isn’t the best heavyweight. I been saying he doesn’t have a chin, wilder would of retired him lmaoooo
SPOT ON.... What a hilarious fight. Joshua's conditioning is absolutely pathetic. LMAO. wow.
Premature stoppage...BUT...The writing was all over the wall yo. Kovalev didn't stand a chance after that right hand lead and body punches. Shout out to Ward for shutting all the haters up doe. Truly deserves pound for pound #1
I'm just not understanding why he is not chomping at the bit for a Porter, Thurman, Garcia (Rematch), OR KELL BROOK fight THIS YEAR!!!! I mean, especially Kell Brook...
Oh, I know why...He want's to fight the guys that are not as young as he is.
The guy gave you an entire list, and you can only argue with one name, at one time. Berto is the only Berto level opponent Mayweather has faced in a decade plus. It seems like you have no point
^^^ THIS!!!
And if you go by his logic, people can stfu about Mayweather "Ducking" Margarito, since May dismantled Mosley right after Mosley dismantled Margarito.
I love Spence and always favored him to KO anyone at WW...but if he can't KO Mikey I mean I gotta say that bodes well for Crawford against him. I gotta actually watch this fight but if he couldn't KO Mikey this is kind of a disappointing performance for both him and Mikey, more than any type of strong performance from either.
So wait hold up....you didn't even watch the fight and you're all up here on the forums talking this and that??
We all know how exceptional GREAT Mexican fighters are at taking punishment. Mikey Garcia is no exception. Hell, has Mikey ever even been knocked down???
People talked **** about Ward....saying Ward would never challenge Kovalev...yet he dared to be great and put Kovalev on the back burner.
Fact of the matter is, MIKEYS CORNER WANTES TO STOP THE FIGHT. He was taking toooooo much punishment. Ever heard of having too much Heart????
Why did the ref stop it though?
1. He SPIT his mouth piece out..
2. His eyes weren't clear.
3. The referee read his body language and very clearly knew his health was at risk.
LOL we saw what small Shawn Porter did to Spence. Spence's face looks pretty bruised. Crawford takes Spence to school. Not even a contest.
Either you are incredibly dense or you dont know s*** about boxing. What has Crawford done at 147? He literally got a free belt from Jeff Horn who shouldn't have had it in the first place and beat up glass jaw Amir Khan ( who got his money and quit).
Here's a question...where's the outrage about who Crawford is fighting next? Why aren't we hearing Crawford calling out Thurman, Garcia, Porter, Ugas, or any other name brand Welterweight not named pacquiao or Spence????
That's right Bud tell the f@#king facts.
Wait hold up...Say what?? Who has Bud fought at WW? Lets be honest here.
If Bud intends on going to the HOF, he is going to need to leave TOP RANK or some name brand welters or going to have to leave PBC and go to TR.
At the end of the day, Bud made his bed...Now he is going to have to lie in it. Sad case of wasted talent at this point.
Go watch the fight without sound you clowns. ESPN had it for golovkin.
lol without sound. That will make it even more clear of a victory for Jacobs. And who gives a flying f u c k about what Fat Dan says? He has been riding GGG almost as hard as Jim Lampley.
I like GGG, but dude lost this one. I wouldnt go so far as to say this was a robbery but....no, yes, it was. my bad.
