WBC heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder has serious doubts that Anthony Joshua will go foward with a rematch against Andy Ruiz - despite Joshua's promoter announcing on Tuesday that a rematch will take place between Joshua and Ruiz. Click Here To Read More]
Turns out Wilder was right to take the risk and "bet on himself". Had he signed that DAZN contract he was offered, based on the promise of a Joshua fight for undisputed, he'd be cursing himself right now.
You know what, you brought nothing new to your argument besides some expletives and silly emojis. That says all that needs to be said about you and your point. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt that you actually did understand the very plain and valid point that I've made to you, but hubris just gets in the way of your ability to admit it. Instead, you've decided to double down with your stupid ****ing "internet proof" argument. If you truly did not absorb my point, I encourage to give the last message another reading, slowly this time.
I actually thought you were reasonably intelligent, but you've revealed yourself to be a true ****ing twit. Your last response really had me cringing and shaking my head in disappointment. I didn't realize you posted your actual image in your sig, so now I feel a bit silly arguing with your special needs ass. You've referred to me twice now as your son, but you know quite well who brought the childish, poorly-defended argument between the two of us. See you around.
what a quaint way of backing out the door with your tail between your legs :lol1:

1) Golovkin ran around for SIX YEARS threatening to fight "anyone from 154-168"..... you don't need a link for that son, you remember that rubbish :lol1:
2) Bullshltkin mentioned fighting Froch, Chavez, Jack, Hopkins, Chudinov, and Ramirez..... ALL at 168..... he was literally willing to fight EVERYONE at 168, EXCEPT for Andre Ward
he also specifically promised to fight Ward at 168 and Canelo at 154

btw, 36 minutes is (coincidentally) the exact amount of time it takes to hold a 12-round boxing match :lol1:

Not sure I made my point clearly enough. I sarcastically referred to you as "Mr. Insider" because I was challenging you to actually produce some real insider information about GGG-Ward negotiations. You, of course, do not have any because you, like everyone else on here, are not actually privy to the details of GGG-Ward fight negotiations. Your "facts" are not facts at all. They are simply printed hearsay or assertions made by one or the other interested party. You, as a biased fan, decide what "facts" sit better with you. I don't even know what to say about the links you produced. What at all do they say about ACTUAL negotiations between GGG and Ward's camps? Less than nothing.
You insist that Loeffler's proposal of a 164lb catchweight was intended to immediately kill the fight. According to you, it had precisely that effect. BUT THEN, the two camps went ahead and had further negotiations 3 months later, which, according to no real source, GGG refused in "36 minutes flat."
Well, those "facts" raise obvious questions:
1. If Loeffler's catchweight proposition pre-empted any real negotitations between the two camps, then what are the two sides even talking about 3 months later?
2. What exactly did GGG refuse in 36 minutes during their Sep, 2015 negotiations? Do you have any idea? Was it about money (that's generally the biggie)? Do you have a single detail at all about the Sep 2015 negotiations other than that GGG refused the offer so its his fault that negotiations fell through and, therefore, he once again ducked Ward.
You have some nerve to suggest that I'm the guy who spins things. This is 2019. The Internet has been around for a good bit. As a regular user of it, you really should have a better grasp of how "facts" work in the information age. You're not convincing anybody with your case, except those like-minded fans who don't actually require any evidence. People don't seek information, but rather affirmation.
We can end here or you can keep it going. By your logic, Ward ducked Deontay Wilder and the rest of the HW division because he was mulling a move to HW to possibly fight AJ. I suppose since you are a fan of Ward's though, such an assertion just sounds silly. Maybe RJJr was a fraud and a ducker too because he went after John Ruiz instead of Lennox Lewis. No? Why not? According to you, GGG, who years on has STILL never fought ANYONE above 160lbs is a coward for ducking 168/175lb Ward.

It's very true. Deontay Wilder has mind fucked both Anthony Joshua and his fans; Which was the main reason why he lost on Saturday night. They still have this uncontrollable fixation, with him even while in defeat, which is pathetic. They just can't seem to keep this man off their minds :lol1:

When I read the title I thought this Wilder has got so much to say now. He has been silent as a mouse this year in regards to Joshua. However, I have to grudgingly agree with him. Joshua showed all the signs of someone that didn’t want to continue. Wilder actually broke it down perfectly in terms of him not coming forward, mental frailties etc. Maybe Wilder’s brain is big enough to fit a spaceship inside after all. I didn’t believe him when he first said it but now I do.
Wilderlites im staying in my lane the heavyweight division is yours. I’m taking my pom-poms to the Welterweight division which we have absolutely nobody but I like Spence
:lol1: I hear you!
Wilder has that street smarts, so yeah he makes a decent point. What happened with Joshua is part of the problem with boxing today. ALLLL of these guys, Joshua, Wilder, Fury, Parker, Ruiz, etc should be fighting each other, making plenty of mistakes, and learning how to fight. The luck of the draw as such that Ruiz and Fury for example, both have more experience, and hence have been in some tight spots to work out of with smarts, skills and determination.
When the suits come and dangle big contracts the emphasis changes and it ruins the fighter who needs to season in the ring. Here is the best example I can think of: When Rickie Hatton came up and beat Zoo, he was a sensational fighter. Fast feet, great body attack, aggressive, just sensational! Then his father got involved and the corner decided that Ricky had to remain undefeated at all costs... Hatton became a humper instead of a puncher, he took no risks, prefering to hold and let the judges slide him by. Hatton fell apart personally as well...nobody wants to fight like that, with a need to not lose at all costs, and to not evolve, but rather to do the bidding of others.
Joshua is just another young, talented fighter with a father who should but out, and a syndicate that wants to make all the cash they can off of him...with no regard for his health, his development as a fighter (he should take some tune ups and learn the craft), etc.
Joshua was most certainly pushed into this rematch and will find himself in many places that he cannot get out of if he does not fight regularly and learn the craft inside and out.
Yeah, sure, Mr. Insider, please send links. I'd like to know your insider scoop of fight negotiations between GGG and Ward's teams. You imagine that your some legitimate source to the world, but you're like everyone else on here who just reposts biased bull**** that they read from some other unconfirmed source. I generally find your opinions reasonable, but you do demonstrate some fanboy exuberance from time to time. You've certainly got ire for GGG because you rail on about him for silly reasons. GGG didn't fight Kovalev or Usyk either. What the hell is your point?!? He's a fraud; a ducker? Once again, back to the topic...

ill eventually stop but the way these posters around here are carrying on with SALT its like why not keep going,
True, my baby oil campaign on Deontay lasted 6 months and ended promptly on the 1st of June several seconds after Joshua accidentally ( ok purposely) spit out his mouth piece
I see you are a man of your word. You said you wouldn’t stop and you haven’t disappointed ,even though I have shown the white flag . Prisoners of war are still entitled to food my brother. This black on black crime has to stop:cool2:

if there was any truth in that statement, you would not have felt the need to lie
they entered into TWO negotiations son..... so, forget your "weight" bullshlt
1) Ward was a SMW..... AND YOU KNOW IT !!
2) Golovkin was apparently willing to fight everyone else at 168
3) Golovkin entered into negotiations TWICE..... firstly killing that fight by demanding 164, secondly refusing that fight in 36 minutes flat
then, Team Bullshlt ran around lying, saying that Ward killed the fight
do you want links ?
that is why Golovkin is now called lil'G
and how prophetic were Wards comments in this video, seeing what happened with Jacobs and Canelo.....

I agree......
Either you're incredibly dense, ydksab, or both.... The fight was stopped for OBVIOUS reasons...one being he was knocked down 4 times. A few others being his body language, him spitting out his mouth piece, him not defending himself, and him not following instructions to come forward when the ref waved him to come forward.
Joshua was toast. Hearn also has no quarrel with the stoppage. Why? Because it was obvious to anyone who knows anything about boxing that Joshua was done after round 3.
Spare us the controversy; there is none. Joshua lost to a better, more prepared fighter that night. That's the bottom line.
Additionally, all this **** about "what happened prior to the fight In The dressing room" has zero to do with his flat-footedness, his stiff posture, his inability to time punches, his lack of head movement, and most importantly his suspect chin. It's also a marvel that he was able to knock down Ruiz because, as some of y'all claim, something just wasn't right with him.
Bottom line, Joshua will bounce back (hopefully, because he is actually really good for boxing) in incredible fashion and get some of these big name fights under his belt. He will lose those big fights, but at least they will happen.
Every comment you said was like a Dagger to the heart. It feels worse because I know most of you Wilderlites were watching the 7th round like this

Still its a marquee fight, and Joshua still had the tools to knock him out, so if he says he wanna continue, the ref should allow him to do so.
Not sure how GGG got pulled into this discussion, but no reasonable fans thinks Gennady ducked a guy two weight classes above him. Back to AJ and Wilder...
