Jermain Taylor-Now here's a good boxer. Taking on a some of the hardest opposition. Whether you think he's good or not, you have to give him respect. How many people can say that they fought against Bernard and Winky and did ok.
Mayweather-As much as I hate this dude I must admit that he has the greatest skill in all of boxing right now. There's too many haters not appreciating his talent. Props for him taking on Oscar even though he's past his prime. Oscar is still the bigger opponent, and with enough focus he can give Mayweather a tough fight.
He's done so much for the sport that one last request for a belt in my opinion is well deserved. I'm not saying it's the most wise decision, but it's understandable coming from El Terrible.
I think both Winky and Pacquiao should be ahead of Mayweather. Yes Mayweather has skills but Winky and Pacquiao have been taking on harder opposition and been successful.
The movie works a lot on his character. The fight was pretty cool too. With the whole HBO feel to it, prefight almost felt as if you actually ordered the balboa-dixon fight on hbo/ppv.
You gotta pressure him with a jab, move all night long (not towards him though), have a good chin, and great endurance. It doesnt matter if you can throw a punch and receive one. Pacquiao will destroy anyone who runs at him. Also try to counter him when he goes off balance, but dont get carried away and try to chase him.
Yes I'm a Pacquiao fan but let's face it. Barrera gets owned. I'm not nuthugging or whatever you wanna call it. It's just one of these things you can call out in full confidence. Id rather see him face Guzman.
I wanna see Pacquiao against the hardest opposition he can go against in this division. And the hardest one is Guzman. Barrerra will take a beating until he gets knocked out. And Valero is just not experienced enough to take on Pacquiao. He's going to get rocked. Guzman, on the other hand, will be a difficult fight. He's a nightmare type of a matchup since he is a great boxer with a good defense. His speed can give Pacquiao trouble. But, in the end, I see Roach giving Pacquiao lessons on how to beat Guzman.
