Which are you favorite Rocky movies? I find the whole series to be great, with the exception of Rocky V. I know the original is the stroyline that broke the ice, but I have always loved Rocky IV. I like the soundtrack, the training scenes, the fight, and everything. Rocky III is my close 2nd in the series. I guess Rocky II would take the 3rd place for me. After that, I have Rocky I (the original but I am a big music fan and the music for this one does not pump me up as much as III and IV), Rocky Balboa, and very far away, Rocky V.
All I gotta say is:
"The Russian is CUT the Russian is CUT!" Rocky's cornerman is like "You see you see! He's not a machine, he's a man a man!" Damn that shit brings goose bumps.

Wow, that's still compelling even in type.. That was a tremendous movie.
Thanks, Left!
Rocky IV was and will always be my favorite. The character of Drago portrayed an image of invincibility and superiority. And the way Rocky conquered this "mountain" through his 'blood'n guts' training and 'never quit' attitude was just priceless.
looking back, the first two were the best. the follow-ups were just cashing in on their success and given a little more mass appeal by having a suitable "baddy" opposite sly.
when i was growing up the only ones i caught in the cinema were iv and v, and i loved iv.
For me, none top the original.
....followed by II and now VI.
III was interesting; but nothing special...IV and V I could have done without.....though I will admit to enjoying the Rocky-Drago "Fight" in the theatre at the time. IV, in reality was just a long ass music video with some patriotic, "we can change the world" bruhaha thrown in....not substance whatsoever.
Rocky 1-Was amazing, Inspiration to everyone around the world that wants to follow dreams.
Rocky 2-Was a great sequel, Fight wasnt to good but storyline was great.
Rocky 3-Good story for the champ, To involved with money and gets beaten, Then the real storyline comes, The eye of the tiger...
Rocky 4- Didnt really enjoy, A russian who kills a former champ in the second round, Final fight was a real battle though
Rocky 5-Your joking right...
Rocky 6-Yet to see.
Rocky 4 fight and training was real badass!
Rocky 1 was just sheer masterpiece.
Rocky Balboa havent seen it yet cause i live in australia, but i hear its awesome!

Just saw the latest "Rocky" tonight. I am 53 and, although the whole idea of a 60-year-old guy fighting a 30-something is very farfetched, it was an OK movie using real boxing figures. Realistically, a person my age, must less 60, cannot do the training necessary to fight young guys. If I could run, lift, hit the bag, etc., like before I could still fight. But the wear-and-tear on the joints just won't permit training hard every day like 20 years ago. However, I thought it was ironic that Tarver got into manager trouble after the movie and had his ass handed to him by a 41-year-old Hopkins.....
