I don't get some of the logic in here. So if Khan "doesn't deserve" this fight and he's been fighting "C class fighters". So, if Floyd actually chooses to fight him, which is a real possibility, then what does that say about Floyd?:ugh:
Yeah, I would also like to know what "deal" these same posters keep talking about?? They act like they have some secret f***ing inside information, lol. What "deal" do you know about, that the rest of the damn world doesn't? Clowns.
Ok you think Arum is trying to screw Floyd.
So, obviously that's no fault of Floyd's then is it.
Nope it's not Floyd's fault, so now we're back to square one with the TWO, not ONE, people who are preventing this fight from happening (Floyd/Arum). If y'all believed that bull***** recently about "new" negotiations for this fight, that's sad.
May 2nd ain't "Floyd's date". If it's his date, then find an opponent to compete with Canelo/Cotto and show the world it's his date. And who might that be? I'll wait......since it's not going to be Pac. I'll wait....
I absolutely love this. What we are seeing is, the boxing world preparing to move on without this coward. Call it what you want, but I hope Cotto/Canelo hold firm on that date, and that Arum and Pac freeze Floyd's a$$ out.
People are sick of him trying to dictate every damn thing. They are daring him to find a credible opponent to compete with that MEGA fight. And like Prince posted, Cotto/Nelo are actually NEGOTIATING and not fu**ing around. So Arum is saying, you know what? FU. We're not fighting on that date. Now what you gonna do about it! I love it.
What happened to "Floyd has to fight Pacquaio on tha date to beat Canelo-Cotto"
Now it's "Floyd has to move the date".
Something else.
Please give me one good reason why Mayweather-Pacquaio shouldn't be on that date?
Man y'all thick. Let's try this again: This is NOT really about the date. Arum is just trying to screw Floyd. Oscar is too. And I can't blame them. He needs to find a credible opponent for that date now, if he still wants it. Check f**ing mate.
And this is also not about making Pac/Floyd fight because honestly, we're no closer than in 2009.
What detriment to Arum is it if the fight is on this date? None. What is the benefit? Maximum profits for his top fighter. Now tell me wtf is the isssue?

The funny thing is, they didn't even want to see it, until two weeks ago.
Right. Now all of a sudden "lineal" means something. When Floyd himself said "belts collect dust."
If your going to fight at 160, fight GGG. If your going to fight at 47 fight Pac or, as a backup, Amir Khan. Other than that, just f'n retire.
Nobody, but Floyd nutthuggers, wants to see a stupid Cotto rematch. Pointless.
The other thing is, Floyd seems to have suddenly grew. Before Cotto was lineal champion, Floyd was "too small for middleweight. Hes even too small for jr middleweight". I'm guessing he walks around at 169 now.
Yeah, it's just a shame that the cherries seem to fall right in his hands, at the right time. So if they do agree to a rematch and Cotto scraps the Nelo fight, and Floyd wins, his fans will praise how he is a "champion" in 3 weight classes.
How he got there:
Maidana - Neutered his gloves and still struggled.
Canelo - 152# Catch weight for the JMW title?
Cotto - Already beat him convincingly. Pointless rematch.
David Diaz and Antonio Margarito, the two fights no one bashed. (No one as in none of the usual suspects). "Oh it doesn't matter, the fights are going to be great and action packed. None of us are excited for the belts, it's the actual fight".
Floyd does it, and all hell breaks lose.
I rather see Mayweather vs Pacquiao over Mayweather vs Cotto II, and I rather see May-Cotto II over May-Khan.
People are bashing it because it's a rematch and a pointless one. Already beat the guy. What the hell is Cotto going to do differently? What did you see in the first fight, that points to this potential rematch having a different outcome?
And I would much rather see May/Khan. A fresh and potentially very interesting fight.
Last line: "And yall know for a fact I ain't scared. Yall know that."
I think Mayweather made some great points in that video. He's right. No one really cared if Pac was juicing, they just want to see the fight. Really, it's his team that's supposed to protect him from grossly unfair conditions. If his team can ensure an even playing field, then they did a great job.
Nah bruh, he was scared. You can hear the fear and concern over nothing more than pure allegations, started by him and his family, lol.
Great interview. I've been asking the very same question. What the hell is he doing, that's holding up the fight?? Where are the facts to that claim? Floyd's fans have no answer. They just spew "Bob Arum is holding up the fight", like a bunch a parrots.
here's an even better interview with the Bobfather, fellas:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KP73mqS1vhg
Man I hate Ariza.
Yup, this is the interview from today. Hectari posted this in another thread and I didn't see ONE Floyd fan respond to it. But he's still holding up the fight doe!
I didn't say don't react. But all this "pac fights not happening Fuk floyd fuk boxing" is dumb for now
It's not dumb. Especially when you get news from insiders, like Rafael. I bet if the news was, "strong talks of PAC-Vargas next", you wouldn't need anything official to clown it. GTFOH
The part where he needs to pretend, genius.
Now you're just talking out of your a$$ because you have no point. I've explained why he has to pretend in two scenarios (in general AND negotiating with Cotto), but you'll continue to act like you don't understand. Typical.
Thats not true. I wouldnt be ok with Rios, Algeri or Vargas. Thats not a jab, thats the truth. Cotto is light years ahead of them. And like i said i enjoyed first fight and like Cotto.
Do i prefer it it over Pac? No but it isnt that bad
Whatever. Instead of laying the blame for such a bullsh*t fight, where it belongs, if it happens, you'll just slurp up sloppy seconds from Floyd. He already beat Cotto, and NO ONE was demanding a rematch because none was needed.
No point of getting worked up until anything is official
:rofl: So now we need "official" news to react to something. None of this sh*t has been official so far, yet I'm sure, you've had something to say about the ongoing negotiations. Just face it, Floyd will fight Cotto again, lol.
If its May 2 then im there and ok with this fight. Thought cotto gave tough fight the first time and i like him. Worse things then 2 HOF, lineal champs, going at it again.
Of course you're ok with it..You'd be "OK" with it, no matter who he fought.
They think that anyway. That doesn't relate to negotiating with Cotto. Try again. What a stupid answer.
Pretending that you finally want to make this fight, which you really don't, while negotiating with Cotto. Which is the fight you really want. What's not to understand???
