Pacquiao made the statement as reaction to the Instagram post of Mayweather showing a video with the background music of “Another one bite the dust” getting knocked down by Mexican boxing star Juan Manuel Marquez. The Filipino congressman from Sarangani province said instead of using the social media to mock him, Mayweather should just accept his challenge for a fight and make professional boxing fans all over the world happy. “Since he thinks I’m so easy to put to sleep then he should just fight me,” Pacquiao said. Pacquiao said he wants to fight Mayweather since he wanted the boxing fans to be happy since they had long wanted to see him fight Mayweather. As proof of his willingness to fight Mayweather, Pacquiao said he is open to have the smaller purse in their bout as long as Mayweather agrees to fight him anytime next year. Pacquiao’s business manager Eric Pineda said the initial talk for the realization of the long-awaited fight has already started and they are confident it could lead to a good result. Pineda said money is less of Pacquiao’s concern since he is more focused on making the professional boxing fans happy by fighting Mayweather. A fight with Mayweather in 2015 became a big possibility after Pacquiao convincingly defeated Chris Algieri via a unanimous decision. In their bout, Pacquiao floored Algieri six times to the delight of his boxing fans all over the world. Boxing fans and experts are all clamoring for a Pacquiao-Mayweather bout since the two are considered as two of the best boxers in the world today. While Pacquiao is very vocal about his intention to fight Mayweather that is not the case for the latter. Sources said Mayweather is reluctant to fight Pacquiao since he is afraid to lose to the latter. In the world of professional boxing Pacquiao is known for his speed and power and Mayweather for his head and shoulder defense.

... so Pacquiao "wants the fight for his fans", yet is holding things up because for money, cash that Pacquiao fans openly deride Mayweather as lusting after? lol Pacquiao knows that he's got roughly $100m worth in tax liabilities that will be coming due, and the Mayweather fight is the only way to get the needed funds. Top Rank has seen what the Marquez loss did to his earning power, and know that a Mayweather wipeout will kill Pacquiao's status as a viable attraction even in Macau. and Pacquiao wants to be President of his country, lol. The 2009 offer from Floyd doesn't matter in 2014 and I don't care who's fault it is, it's already 2014 and we should all move on from that. Since Manny are willing to take the lesser piece of the pie, I don't see why Floyd are still not in the negotiating table. As Mayweather said he is all about money (we can all agree on that) and who else would give him the biggest payday of his boxing career? None other than Manny, am I right? Not a Canelo fight nor a Cotto fight only a fight with Manny can give him the biggest payday.

You have Pac who comes in the U.S. everytime he fights and takes questions from EVERYONE AND EVERY MEDIA OUTLET ABOUT FLOYD and has no problem answering on camera. Heck, even went to espn and gets confronted DIRECTLY by a Flomo Stephen Smith, and yet Pac was confident enough to answer any Floyd related questions. Don't forget that Pac gets asked about Floyd alot back in his Island. MEANWHILE....you have Floyd who doesn't even have the balls to come to the George Lopez show because he doesn't want to be asked about Manny...LOL WTF.. He even bans reporters to ask him Manny questions. Can't come out on public without bodyguards because he's afraid some boxing fan might confront him about fighting Pac. I could dig up floyds enormous and sad litany of quotes and use it in exactly the same stupid way, but cant see any value in it in this context. Mayweather is gonna continue to milk his Showtime contract. He prob won't consider the PAC fight until his very last fight. He knows that if he loses, his final fight on his contract won't be as in demand. Mayweather will fight the Khan-Alexander winner. It's sad that it's been more than a week and Mayweather hasn't responded to Manny's call out. Floyd doesn't want it.

sign a deal Manny, then you will get to fight Floyd. when manny signs a deal, the fight will happen. when will that happen-ask Manny, only he and Bob know. why would there be? what would that serve. if you think Floyd is afraid, scared or doesn't want the fight after making manny offers for it, why would him saying anything change your opinion? No offers signed by Manny. WHen that changes, we will have a fight. Bad comparison. Sergio knew it would be his last fight and was cashing in. There's $200 mil on offer here, if Manny took 40 that would have been ridiculous. The amount of money of offer here is obscene and if floyd demand's a cent more than half then he is a disgrace. He needs to get on and get it done, he's been called out. Get on with it. but i thought pac didnt care about the money? didnt he just say that. so whats the problem with accepting 40m if he doesnt even care about money and just wants the fight plus it's called a NEGOTIATION...it's like a "catchweight" only in financial terms.
