It should be Floyd vs. Manny in May. That's it. In a perfect world, Brook and Khan would be able to meet in the spring as well and then the winners would face each other to unify the divisions. Brook's injury pretty much derailed that idea unless he can fight Khan in the summer.
How bad will this be after all that stuff about the fight being close?
"he makin smart bidness decisions doe"
"moe dough if they fight after milking the fans moe"
Now watch one of these fights go wrong, Floyd gets embarassed,
and no one gives a sht anymore..
there goes ~$300mil :lol1:
Dude. If Floyd fights Cotto. Dude....I can't actually explain my anger. It'll be the first time I haven't paid for a Floyd PPV, the first time I'll hope it flops. You know what, check hooks, Pac-boy, Golovkin and I will all be on the same page hating Floyd for this.
wtf, cant believe you paid for Mayweather fights, wth is wrong with you?!! lol
How bad will this be after all that stuff about the fight being close?
Remember that? On Facebook YouTube and ESB all I read was "Fight ain't even close! Yall wanna celebrate the few moments Cotto had success!!!!! Next!!"
:lol1: now it's "it's a good fight doe! Cotto got da belt doe! Historic!"
Well Floyd should've fought ****ing Martinez then you morons.
Extremely strong chatter than Mayweather-Cotto 2 is imminent.— Dan Rafael (@danrafaelespn) January 19, 2015
Who is the chatter from? Fat Dan just needs to write something before he gets fired. Where is the inside source? He does not have any. Just like he has not had any regarding the FMJ/Pac fight. All his stories and quotes have come from other publications.
No need to hate, he's been one of the only people to say Manny/Pac was never going to happen in the first place.

U will never get an answer to that great question here. They want PAC v may so bad that logic seems to evaporate here. I read a post here that one would rather see may vs khan Than a rematch with cotto!, Khan has zero chance. Why the hell watchit but what ever I for one will watch two elites go at it again before ill watch another pad vs Algeri type fight. Smh
Wow, talk about apples and oranges. Pacquiao never stopped negotiating a fight with Mayweather to take one of those rematches. All three Morales fights and the first two Marquez fights were before he even moved to 135. The 3rd Marquez fight was made after Mayweather signed to fight Ortiz, the first Bradley fight was made after Mayweather signed to fight Cotto, the fourth Marquez fight was made while Mayweather was in jail and the second Bradley fight was made of course after Mayweather had signed with Showtime. And all three opponents were more competitive (obviously as all three beat him) against Pacquiao than Cotto was against Mayweather.

Logic states that Pac vs. Floyd > Floyd vs. someone other than Pac or Pac vs. someone other than Floyd
What a complete joke of a fight. It should be dubbed "COWARDS". It'll tank for sure and the world will know that both dudes were afraid to take fights that they knew they would lose.
Man hell no...Cotto was dominating in the first fight nobody wants to see that again ...I rather see Khan....But Floyd rep will take another hit if this fight is called off
So why does pac get a pass for fighting Marquez 4x, morales 3x, Bradley 2x

Guys on here, who have been saying for years that Pacquiao was running scared..would be cool with Mayweather walking away from a Pacquiao fight?
'TBE' taking an easier fight? 'Money May' taking a smaller pay cheque?
Honestly, you couldn't make it up.
If a Pacquiao fight is on the cards, and if Mayweather turns his back on it, to fight a guy he has already beat then.. it's embarrassing for him, and a real shame for his fans who he plays like a fiddle.
If it was to happen, at least we would know who the fighter to walk away from the fight was.
Careful what you wish for. Everyone wanted Mayweather to move up A SIXTH WEIGHT CLASS for the middleweight title because they thought they found their savior and now they might get it. Only it's not Martinez. lol Careful what you wish for, haters.
I think it will happen because neither of them wanted the fights they were negotiating. They can fight each other for big money and very little risk of either of them suffering a KO loss. Mayweather is sure he can beat Cotto because he had no trouble beating him before. Mayeather is clearly not so sure about beating Pacquiao. I am sure Canelo would KO Cotto and I think Cotto is afraid to fight him. The winner of Mayweaher-Cotto will be the lineal middleweight champion of the world and will never fight GGG who is the real middleweight champion of the world to me.
i wouldn't be so sure. you don't get to where moonves is by getting played by guys like al haymon.
At the time they signed the contract, Floyd was on like a 5 fight 1+ million buys streak against the likes of Victor Ortiz. I think he was averaging 1.5 million buys since he returned from 'retirement'. HBO initially turned down (wisely) Haymon's 6 fight $180 million demand and Showtime saw an opportunity to steal Floyd away so they gave him carte blanche to do whatever he wanted. Plus having a Haymon stooge in Espinoza really helped probably.
Like Floyd said, if he wants to fight duds to end his career, that's what he'll do. They have to give him his $32 million regardless.
