You guys don't get it. None of these guys are ducking nobody. It their teams and promoters that have PLANS, POLITICS AND PEOPLE IN THEIR POCKET, sadly in boxing.. In the elite level it's structured to be the worst corrupt sport
The fight will happen later....
You ain't giving anybody shet Con. Youreca quitter, bipolar probably or schizophrenic thinking you talked to Mannys team. Nobody like Khan except for the D riders. You're just a stupid little dumb azz ,that if you bumped your head on a kids head by accident you would get ktfo. Please leave the sport you towel head forking nerd.
I think Canelo will unify 160 by 2020. He has the pull to make it happen. I don't see Miracle Man or Boo Boo stopping him. Also, fighting at 160 with rehydration limit is going to be hard on Danny Jacobs.
It will be even harder for canelo bro. To make weight with a rehydration limit. Dude always fought as light heavyweight as a middle weight. With his mystery pill before both GGG fights.
Thank you for answering my post gents. I 💯 agree. I only asked as to I fought a MMA fighter however he said his emphasis is more kick Boxing. Because of that I decided to fight him. He was a pretty known bad ass in San Diego. I'm a boxer a semi pro if at best, but I'm a decent amateur. I'm 48-1-45 kos. Boxing does run in my blood line, so it feels very natural for me. So anyways. I prepared myself pretty well as this guy has freaking muscle on his eyebrows lol. But it was over in 1:31 of the first round just from a double jab and a straight right... Lol. I had seen his fights against others in his discipline and took massive hits. He walked right through them. He felt slow to me and I am blessed with a great chin for my level. But darn the fight was too easy lol. I fight in a firefighter vs police officer boxing league. I'm with LAFD. Plus I have about 65 am's fights.
I pretty much knew the answer to this question, but wanted to confirm your opinions with you fine people. Thanks again.
When McGregor landed his best uppercut, Floyd took a half step back, barely blinked and then came right forward again. More than one MMA fighter was interviewed and said that when they saw that they knew McGregor had zero chance. McGregor was 20 lbs heavier, landed his best punch and the little old man wasn't phased.
Boxers are machines.
Heck yeah we are. Agreed
It could go either way IMO,he seems to have a lot of muscle on him which way may slow him down and become tiring late on but you have a point about not needing to drop the extra few pounds over these next couple of days
Thought weights don't win fights now Bradley would be too slow. Dude shut up already
I'll quote whoever the F**k i want you knob jockey, especially if i believe it to be true. We're not talking about a Brook or Khan moving up 2 divisions, we're talking about 2 men roughly the same size. Weights don't win fights unless there is a CLEAR advantage, one that comes to mind was Fury v Cunningham, Fury was just too big and strong and used his CLEAR advantages to win the fight and didn't need to use any other attributes."Thanks for listening" what an arrogant prick for someone with a handful of posts!
Dude shut the the hell up you little prick. Again weight does matter little *****. I'm a boxer...and that alone beats your petty amount of posts. Again dummy, you said weights don't win fights. That is applicable to Floyd's last fight. Now elites ten pounds matters, trust me ...I as a boxer you will feel the difference from my punch if I have just that difference. I'll hit you and you will feel it. No if you say weights don't matter then why do fighters try to gain all their fluid volume back? To have the advantage!! Not applicable to novices checker fan boys like you. So shut up.
he's never been outweighed by an opponent in his career and this will be no different but........ weights don't win fights!
If he's coming in heavier than before for this fight he better have his nutrition down to a tee because he already gasses late on in fights so with extra weight he's gonna gas badly in the championship rounds.
Very intriguing fight, i honestly cant call it, don't think we've had as much of a genuine 50/50 fight in quite some time, looking forward to it
Bro don't quote Floyd Mayweather about his weight difference against McGregor who is a novice boxer. When two elite fighters like these two go at it, weight is extremely essential. Because if that was the case there would be like three weight classes only (small, med, large) or none at all. Many sports implement weight classes for a reason. Thanks for listening.
Who mentioned Bradley? Stop making a fool of yourself lad!
Son, I've been wearing gloves before you were born when I was taught. My grandfather was an Olympian in the 30s. Then pro until the age of 41 and became a machinist. I'm 43 and still at it. Did my time in the AM's and in the pro divisions as a cruiser. I've trained at the wild card gym in Los Angeles/Hollywood, can off of Vine St. As well as Ring of fire in monrovia, ca. Spar against Stiverne at the money gym in Vegas about once a month because he trains there daily and we are friends. Now at my age I'm in a league where fire department boxers go against police department boxers, nation wide. I'm 48-1-45 kos in this league. I still am hungry and feel young, plus been an athlete all my life boy.
Get your petty ass way of thinking about "I been here longer than you and since you're new you don't know ****, blah blah blah blah blah" about me being new on here you little *****. There are new people on here every day. Guess what Stiverne is on here with about 20 posts. You going to tell me he don't know ****?! Lol.
So now that I been a paramedic/firefighter for the Los Angeles City Fire Department for 18 years. With you are into law enforcement come for a clinic, if you just want to come to southern California for a nice vacation, then you tell me when you can come to either gyms. Call me ***** and I'll tell you who I am. 323-923-8545 I don't care leaving my number. If you are to afraid, text me.
Again don't quote Floyd's statement
Especially since he is the man who started catch weights you dumb uneducated boy. In addition don't modify your reply to what my first reply was to you. Then when EVERYONE has agreed with my initial response. You ****ing trolling *****. Call me.... Steve
Thank you. I appreciate your reply, I apologize and yes I agree we can debate about boxing. Things that you quoted in this reply that I had said by no means were to be sarcastic. That's the problem with text messaging and not actually talking about it. Sometimes we take it a different way bro. Thanks for the compliment... I'll keep going as long as possible. As you know us boxers get stubborn. Have a great day bro.
Doesn't look roided up this time. Canela by decision as he will run more this time
You think he might over train for this fight?
IMO and as a student of the sport. Canelo's age may bail him out of that as to a fighter pushing 30 and over it most certainly will. My prediction is Canelo will steal rounds by fighting effectively for the first 30 seconds and last 30 seconds of the each round with a lot of fighting off the back foot/running. As Canelo is a very good boxer to pull that off. Also IMO in their first fight Canelo did everything right against GGG (gears 1-5) as to GGG Fighting his normal Fight. Now GGG has a lot more things he can do better which is jab a lot more to the head and right above the naval then follow up with his right, plus cut off the Ring better than he already does. A lot more room for GGG to make adjustments vs Canelo has very little to change....except for him to fight in the center of the ring and to move/run/fight off his back foot in a direction away from GGG's power. As a boxer though I do see GGG knowing this with his trainer and it resulting with a tko victory for GGG possibly in the 10-12 rounds. Thanks for reading big bro
Bet
A clown just signs up and all the sudden things he can do buisness??? Why do I have a feeling this is an alt account??
Your probably one of those POS's that didnt PAY me in the last fight!!! And started a NEW account...
Read your PMs
Man the haters towards another human being...sad. The hate has nothing to do with the thread. Stay on topic... Guy is boxer ..an older boxer, he got hit right to cause this aneurysm in his brain. He could have died or been bed confined forever, reason why he is recovering well is because he was taken to the hospital quickly and he was lucky it was on a part of the brain the Drs can surgically remove vs it bleeding everywhere. Nobody deserves that..... because we all make mistakes. So haters get in a ring. Show links to your fights...heck even you training...YOU GOT NONE ... Otherwise you would not be hating if you did.
People remember how he looked physically against the fake fight against the USA president candidate and he was less than 3 years of being retired he looked the part as well. But I've seen him at Bowes gym twice and he was training, I was like God darn, the man looked natural pretty ripped, and had a lot of his old muscle back. You have to give him a pat on the back he keeps himself clean and really is the "real deal"
When I saw him was just under 10 days ago.
I believe what makes it easy for him is his natural size of being a small (light) heavyweight and he struggles to add muscle/weight. So he probably doesn't need to even train hard even though he was doing some hard sparring...shot it didn't look like light sparring to me
Meanwhile, Wilder fans are still harking back to the Wilder-fan golden age...
the $50m (100% legitimate as long as there are no details, negotiations or meetings) "offer".
In spite of Wilder being offered $120m for Breazeale and AJ
It's actually laughable.
It's quite laughable you get the deal wrong. It was a 100 mill. For 3 fights. 80 for two AJ fights and 20 for his mandatory.
Please explain how AJ was able to "opt out" of fighting Ortiz, when Ortiz was his mandatory challenger?
Did AJ pick up a phone and tell Ortiz ..
"Hello Luis, I've decided that you are going to sign with Al Haymon and fight Deontay Wilder instead of me. And one more thing .. I've also decided that you are going to fail the pre fight PED test and lose your WBA mando spot. Ok mate? Crack on .."
When and who did AJ end of fighting? All that time in between...he could have given Ortiz a title shot . That is how he was able to opt out when Ortiz was calling him out. After and during the WBA rankings dilemma.. ..have some personal respect nerd.
Khan please just stop talking, you do that too much. PLEASE just say you'll see what a ready khan is like.... Then zip it. You set yourself up for failure. After this your carrer is over and only brits will still want to see you VS Brook. A blind guy VS a chinny guy. Should have just taken that fight. Good luck
ggg being as angry and taking his frustration out on vanes..an inactive fighter for 2 years and going up in weight...that sounds about right... yes sir just like what canelo did.. Yes.
And you've got it wrong again. Just like always.
They booed when AJ mentioned Wilder's name, not him. They are sick and tired of all the games by Wilder and co. It's the Whyte rematch they all cheered. Go back and listen carefully next time so you don't have to continue making a fool out of yourself. You loon.
Ok you're a Brit dude. Speaking out if heart and your own personal trolling personality. They booed when he mentioned Hearns name you freaking nerd. Want a link to that? Or you going to make up your personal scenarios. Bottom line is Hearn is a inconsistent liar. Fact
Hearn: "Aj would have gone all night"..... No AJ would of had a cerebral bleed you Idiot Eddie. So does Eddie realize that when a fighter don't remember shet that it's called getting knocked the fuk out....? SMH idiot Eddie
Looks in great shape. Obviously was for Ortiz. Definitely trying to have his power at 100% it was hard for Wilder to ko Stiverne, because he leads with his big forehead and kept his chin tucked in. The first knock down and I believe the 8th round wobble he didn't protect his chin. Though that is how it was, I see Stiverne trying to dig close range, but he is also damaged from their first fight. I see a possibility of Wilder getting wobbled, slight chance knocked down, but Stiverne even leading with his forehead he will get knocked out. If he does he should retire. Stiverne is a quiet man but truly hates Wilder. You will see him fight his ass off. He is my buddy. I know what he wants to do. In his inactivity he has been in the gym daily. We shall see ladies and gents
