People talking like Canelo is moving up... Give me a ****ing break he's a mini Tyson.
He's been weighing more than the average MW for years.
Please answer the question. When has he been outweighed? Against Chavez jr? How could he be 174? That was his weight against Angulo.
Being a weight bully is his better skill. God knows how he cuts 18-20 pounds each time.
He will be 178-180 against Golovkin but some shameless guys are saying here he's the smallest man? These guys are idiots and frauds.
Thank you. I appreciate your reply, I apologixe and yes I agree we can debate about boxing. Things that you quoted in this reply that I had said by no means were to be sarcastic. That's the problem with text messaging and not actually talking about it. Sometimes we take it a different way bro. Thanks for the compliment... I'll keep going as long as possible. As you know us boxers get stubborn. Have a great day bro.
Cheers bud, you too :biggthump

Son, I've been wearing gloves before you were born when I was taught. My grandfather was an Olympian in the 30s. Then pro until the age of 41 and became a machinist. I'm 43 and still at it. Did my time in the AM's and in the pro divisions as a cruiser. I've trained at the wild card gym in Los Angeles/Hollywood, can off of Vine St. As well as Ring of fire in monrovia, ca. Spar against Stiverne at the money gym in Vegas about once a month because he trains there daily and we are friends. Now at my age I'm in a league where fire department boxers go against police department boxers, nation wide. I'm 48-1-45 kos in this league. I still am hungry and feel young, plus been an athlete all my life boy.
Get your petty ass way of thinking about "I been here longer than you and since you're new you don't know ****, blah blah blah blah blah" about me being new on here you little *****. There are new people on here every day. Guess what Stiverne is on here with about 20 posts. You going to tell me he don't know ****?! Lol.
So now that I been a paramedic/firefighter for the Los Angeles City Fire Department for 18 years. With you are into law enforcement come for a clinic, if you just want to come to southern California for a nice vacation, then you tell me when you can come to either gyms. Call me ***** and I'll tell you who I am. 323-923-8545 I don't care leaving my number. If you are to afraid, text me.
Again don't quote Floyd's statement
Especially since he is the man who started catch weights you dumb uneducated boy. In addition don't modify your reply to what my first reply was to you. Then when EVERYONE has agreed with my initial response. You ****ing trolling *****. Call me.... Steve
You got that from what i said????? I didn't say you didn't know **** and i also didn't say i know more than you coz I've been here longer? I said you were arrogant, not once did i imply that you didn't know **** about boxing. I was simply saying your reply was arrogant, which it was. This is all good, i'll give you the benefit of the doubt as i have no reason to not believe you at this point but if you are so experienced at the sport then come on here and share your knowledge of the game in a dignified way instead of coming on and trying to sound like a smart ass. If you didn't end your reply with "thanks for listening" like a Billy Big Balls we wouldn't be having this argument. And as far as the "If your ever in Cali" nonsense goes, i stay on a council estate in Airdrie/Scotland the chances of me ever being in Cali are slim to none. I could say the very same to you but the chances of you ever coming to Airdrie are quite simply F**k All! Plus, if you read my earlier post, i quite clearly admitted that i was now a 30 year old fat weed smoking B*****d who was married with 3 kids. Just because i am no longer an athlete doesn't mean i don't know **** about boxing. Anyway, i look forward to debating boxing with you in the future and good luck continuing your impressive knockout streak in the Fireman Leagues, i hope you continue as long as you are able to - THE B-HOP OF THE FIRE BRIGADE!
Who mentioned Bradley? Stop making a fool of yourself lad!

This is the stupidest thing I have read today. Canelo is fighting for the IBF title so he will be 170 (or less) on 2nd day weigh-in. Where are you getting 178-180 from? Literally pulling it from your ass. Must be a Golovtard :pat:
So what? Lemieux did the 2nd day weigh in and he weighed later 175 on fight night. They can keep eating and rehydrating after 8 am.
Thread starter clearly never fought before and never tried to make weight before. Just because a fighter rehydrates to a high weight doesn't make him a naturally bigger fighter, GGG IS naturally MUCH bigger than Canelo, he's taller, he's wider, they may carry around the same weight, be GGG definitely has the bigger frame and that's what makes size difference a big factor, not just the weight and muscle mass.
Plus if GGG was the same size as Canelo, why wasn't he fighting at 154 like Canelo at 27? all the big money fights including Mayweather, Pacquiao, Cotto, Martinez and so on were at 154 when GGG was in his late 20s. He never fought at that weight because he could never make it healthy otherwise he would've fought there.
GGG has the perfect frame for a middleweight. Canelo has a bad frame for a boxer because he's way too bulky downstairs, which adds to his weight but not to his natural size, which leads him to having to fight at higher weight class than where he should be fighting. If Canelo had the typical boxer weight distribution he'd be fighting at 147. No excuses though, may the best man win.
Dude shut the the hell up you little prick. Again weight does matter little *****. I'm a boxer...and that alone beats your petty amount of posts. Again dummy, you said weights don't win fights. That is applicable to Floyd's last fight. Now elites ten pounds matters, trust me ...I as a boxer you will feel the difference from my punch if I have just that difference. I'll hit you and you will feel it. No if you say weights don't matter then why do fighters try to gain all their fluid volume back? To have the advantage!! Not applicable to novices checker fan boys like you. So shut up.
At no point have i said weights don't matter, i said weights don't win fights, especially when we are talking about 2 elite fighters very similar in size. Anyone can come on a forum and CLAIM to be a boxer, what level do you fight at, are you an amateur or Pro. What weight cat? I am not a boxer anymore as i am a fat, weed smoking b***rd who is 30 years old and married with 3 kids but i boxed amateur when i was young between the age of 13 and 16 for Four Isles Amateur Boxing Club and competed at junior championships and schoolboy tournaments etc at between 50-57kg i can honestly admit i never won any championship or tournament i entered but i beat my fair share of decent fighters. Dont throw accusations around about novice fanboys etc when you haven't a clue who you are talking to. I called you an arrogant prick because you are new to the site and tried to come on like the F*****g Bert Sugar of Boxing Scene, more experience guys on here (i'm not one of them) will eat and **** you if you come with that arrogance!

Maybe Chavez. But he's outweighed everyone else.
It could go either way IMO,he seems to have a lot of muscle on him which way may slow him down and become tiring late on but you have a point about not needing to drop the extra few pounds over these next couple of days
Thought weights don't win fights now Bradley would be too slow. Dude shut up already
I'll quote whoever the F**k i want you knob jockey, especially if i believe it to be true. We're not talking about a Brook or Khan moving up 2 divisions, we're talking about 2 men roughly the same size. Weights don't win fights unless there is a CLEAR advantage, one that comes to mind was Fury v Cunningham, Fury was just too big and strong and used his CLEAR advantages to win the fight and didn't need to use any other attributes."Thanks for listening" what an arrogant prick for someone with a handful of posts!

While Canelo may come in heavier ...... and can affect him ....
but being that Canelo doesn't need to drain himself down to 152 or 154 or 155, can help him somewhat with his stamina issues.
It could go either way IMO,he seems to have a lot of muscle on him which way may slow him down and become tiring late on but you have a point about not needing to drop the extra few pounds over these next couple of days
Every fighter does that stupid!!
Hence why the most accurate way to compare size is to compare fight night weights. Jesus man seriously.
so then rios is as big as canelo and ggg lol...
ha ve you ever heard tim bradly walks around 200lbs?
is he bigger than kovalev??
brandon rios can be 170 in the ring, but we all know he isnt bigger than canelo or ggg...
