This combat sports world we know right now is being expanded & changed constantly. I suspect in another decade there will be many high level fighters who compete in the ring & the cage at the same time. That hasn't really happened yet. Either we got MMA guys who get in some low level boxing matches while they are in the minor MMA leagues or we got past their prime boxers going into the octagon for a payday. Might sound crazy to some of you guys critical of MMA or boxing today, but I think its the obvious progression that will be made moving forward. I think these top two combat sports will become more intertwined.Very few mma fighters that dont know how to wrestle these days. They learn somewhat of a ground game, a wrestler wins 9 out of 10.

Congrats Tyson Fury! I have been a big fan of Wlads for a long time but Fury and his team made it happen in this one. They fought they fight they needed to win. Still Wlad had a great run, overcame situations where most fighters would have walked away. Wlad was a great champion! Fury enjoy your victory but your gonna find out what the top is all about and how great Wlad was. Fury has some thirsty contenders coming his way.

Though I've great respect for Kovalev and his skill, people greatly inflate the value of the competition he's faced. This is a huge step up for him and will really show what he's made of. I did not have a draw, I had Ward winning the fight..... I said that the best result would have been a draw because the fight was so close..... that way the big fella could keep his titles, Ward could remain undefeated, and we would still get to see a rematch.....
