I've been following Beterbiev since his cloud fight and ever since then became a fan...I really want him to fight Bivol this year if it happens when he's 39 am afraid father time will catch up with him we all age and his legs will get slower...he needs to ditch the WBC belt we all know he's the champ and get the unification fight... Beterbiev is a rare talent power, will and skill
I think the first 3 rounds will be cagey and Beterbiev knows the nail has good power so he will be cautious and won't rush inn like he did against hot rod...and thenfrom there on will go for the ko or even win via points he can box either way don't rule out the nail KO'ing him that's a possibility. It's an exciting fight and For me Best fight on paper so far
I've got Wilder winning the Rematch I think Fury will **** his pants if he gets too close he know Wilder can dispatch him with one punch and he won't take too many risk's that my opinion
He does have a good chin even in the Parker fight he took some bug blows..Along with Parker probably the best Chin imo AJ will try to outbox him rather than KO him in the rematch.
No
It's the diet and tough upbringing along with will power and motivation to win..no one is superior to anyone else ..all these clobless about Aztec warriors or Gispy power etc
He is and being from the same country, losing to him means walk of shame ..it's like two popular fighters from Brooklyn for the loser it would be hard to show face... Khan will lose to Crawford than Brook although I think Brook is more winnable fightas he fades after 7.
Great man took the loss gracefully and didn't blame it on the cut. he was losing before the cut and had no joy inside or outside. Browne boxed great and I hope he grants the guy who he lost to "hot rod" a rematch.
Beterbiev was dropped by a relatively light puncher in Johnson, out of all the candidates I'd rate him the lowest.
Johnosn is no light puncher...he is know to have serious power but Beterbiev I'm didn't impress me in that fight and his power wasn't as fearful as some have suggested.
Kovalev still dangerous AF tho, he has that spinning back kick and submission game up his sleeve (as well as a bottle of vodka)
Lol yeah he's still dangerous but if you have a good game plan and willing to take some heavy shots from him your always in with a shot of beating him.
Fury had 50+ lbs on him.
Wilder was also sick and it was the 12th round.
224 lb Wilder knocks Fury spark out.
Wilder was also sick, mentally or physically..am guessing he's insane after saying he wants a body in his record
Beterbiev vs HotRod what a match up I got a close UD for Beterbiev but I can also see Beterbiev getting knocked out if he's careless like his last fight.
Am furys biggest fan but I agree it was a draw no way Wikdwe won but if Fury won it wasn't the worst decision..Wilder got 4 rounds via ko and you can't win roudns by jsut fainting I throwing wanted to jabs that hit the glove where wilder was throwing good body shots..
Beterbiev might be the best pressure puncher of all time, he just never got the chance to prove it until saturday. The only boxers in the history of the sport who can take Beterbiev's punches are the ones who don't get hit with many of them, or knock him out before they can get hit by many of them.
Name your favorite LHWs of all time, Beterbiev probably knocks them out. He's Khabib and GGG in one and he hits harder than either. I won't say he's more skilled than GGG but he has better "craft," he doesn't reset, he goes from position to position much better, like an elite grappler in MMA does. Whoever trained him did a masterful job.
Yep I agree
Would love to have seen Kessler, Carl Froch and Roy Jones match up that would have been something of a dream.match up or even Joe Calzahe .. Beterbiev can box people forget that.. it was level going into round 9 imo and Gov is an excellent boxer.
I agree with this. Beterbiev getting beat.
All those tomato can oppositions will catch up to him.
Lol 🍅 tomato cans lol you know noting about boxing his last two fights ere against two future world champions IMO just wait and see
I don't know what I liked more, the knockdowns or his celebration. I'm still smiling.[/QUOTE
He shouldn't have celebrated like that it was disrespectful he will get what's coming to him and when he's on the canvas I wish someone does the same to him.
Beterbeiv doesn't have the Ring IQ or footwork to outpoint or put a beating on Gvozdyk. Late TKO or points victory for Gvozdyk
He will surprise you, I think he can box well and we will see Gvozdky behind on points when he turns it on late rounds
Dylian Whyte deserves a shot at all belt holders he's she more Mando than I have had hot dinner this week.and IMO Whyte beats Fury unless Fury single pot shots and doesn't engage in a figh and tries to box him instead.
