Kovalev was beating Alvarez pretty handily before he got KOed, seems to be the trend with Kovalev, but that still doesn't speak well about Alvarez.
I agree with you, I had Kovalev winning the fight until the knockout. His stamina really diminished.
There are a lot of uncertainties about all 4 of them because they all have just started fighting the elite level opposition, except Beterbiev probably. As for now, I'd say between Gvozdyk, Beterbiev and Alvarez, anyone could beat anyone. The exception is Bivol, who I think skillwise & stylewise would have the adventage over the others, beside maybe Gvozdyk. But as I said, for now we can only guess because we have to see more from them against the top level fighters in order to compare them between each other.
Wow you guys are really that biased huh?
Did you not see Alvarez ktfo of Kovalev?
Gvozdyk is a damn bum Álvarez whoops his ass all day.
Man you euro guys are biased as fuccckkk unbelievable.
Alvarez, Bivol and Gvozdyk (and Kovalev) have a common opponent. Although it's slightly misleading cos Chilemba injured his hand against Gvozdyk it's worth noting that Eleidar was run closest of the 4. Wouldn't have been frowned upon to score that one a draw. You can have an opinion on who is best, but if you think that Alvarez is somehow in a different league, you might want to think again man. None of them have really separated themselves as yet.

Bivol.
I also really like Gvozdyk but I'm still not sold on his durability despite having just faced Superman.
He's a better technician than most but my gut feeling is a guy like Beterbiev would get to him eventually.
Beterbiev was dropped by a relatively light puncher in Johnson, out of all the candidates I'd rate him the lowest.
Johnosn is no light puncher...he is know to have serious power but Beterbiev I'm didn't impress me in that fight and his power wasn't as fearful as some have suggested.

You’re right about Johnson being light fisted
Beterbiev does need to be more cautious defensively but then again it’s the way he fights
Has no respect for his opponent because he has dynamite in those gloves
Sticking to Beterbiev, I really believe if he puts aside all the bullchit around him and solely concentrates on boxing, he will be the lineal champion of division
Imo , he destroys Bivol and the nail to a pulp
I've said for a while now it's between Gvozdyk and Bivol. Bivol has the fewest holes to me, but has size working against him. Gvozdyk is probably the most gifted while Beterbiev has the most power. Alvarez, I can't shake some of the lackluster performances he's had over the last couple years. I'd still probably out my money on Bivol, but it's neck and neck with Gvozdyk imo.
If Beterbiev stays busy and concentrates on boxing solely, nobody better
Yeah Beterbiev is my choice
