This is an absolute masterful ATG thread here, almost as good as my own ATG thread about Kovalev completely schooling Ward! Loving the gifs inputted here to show real evidence and word for word it backs the truth! He continues to spew this "earned" garbage and show off the belts as if he legitimately won it and tries to paint his false victory as a exploit! He literally got members of his team to try and buy out Kovalev's coach! He's probably teaching kids how to do those illegal and horrible tactics so don't be surprised to see more fighters who want to take fight out of a fight and do fouling as their weapon! How?? Ward clearly has the skills and tricks to win. His billy goat tactics have served him well (ref. Kessler) but those tactics have turned some fans away from him. He's a talented "undefeated" fighter and until someone figures him out he'll remain that way. We'll have to see if Kovalev has what it takes to dominate him convincingly. Kov did, it's just Ward is very "skilled" at making a fight ugly and taking the action out of a fight! Those are tactics used to frustrate his opponents and throw them off, fair play but you cannot support him when he trounces around like some honorable Christian! He literally tries to lift Kov's legs up and slam him and late in the fight he elbowed him which caused Kov's nose to bleed! The ref literally allowed Ward to do nearly anything he wanted and Kov still outboxed him and out-foxed him as well! People get mad at the headlocked but dont understand it's just to control Ward's head and to protect himself from getting headbutts! Ward is fast, good chin, stamina and very strong but when he faces a threat he'll immediately foul his way to the final bell! Kov must end him since he already outboxed him and the judges still couldn't see Kov winning it! Take It out of the judges hands is the plan since they can't be trusted anymore!

People forget Cus D'Amato was the guy that kept Tyson at his absolute best and was the only man that could keep him in check!.. A focused, hungry, disciplined Tyson with Cus D'Amato is nigh unstoppable due to his speed, power, head movement, body attack, and pressure! Sucks that Tyson never really got a chance to fight someone really solid to prove this point!

Watching those videos again baffles me why Kovalev went away from the jab. That long jab was absolutely dominant in the early rounds. As soon as he stopped throwing it and started playing Ward's wrestling game the rounds got much murkier. It's hard to do that when a guy is fouling you and coming in ducking below the waist! I also think Kovalev wanted to prove he can beat Ward at his own game(in which he did supremely) I was very shocked at how Kov negated most of Ward's tactics(few times it worked) and matched him physically! Ward is a very strong guy and Kov showed him that he's not fighting no 168 guy or tomato can!

Schooled and clinic are 2 of the most over used words in boxing. The video proved what a schooling it was, Ward is just a master at making fights ugly to make it look like the other guy is fighting his fight in which Kovalev choses to! If one guy continues to beat the other guy to the punch with harder shots even when he's gassed you wouldn't consider that a schooling? Ward and Ward fans change the narrative almost everyday, one day it's Kov who was broken down by bodyshots(funny the "bodyshots didn't land until the 6th round, a round after in which Kov started to gas, before not after) and I'm even hearing Ward will kick his ass again?? What?? You guys don't watch boxing, go back to playing water polo or golf because boxing is obviously not for you!!

If you're saying Kovalev chose to fight Ward's fight, my question would be, why would he want to do that? Love him or hate him, Ward is undefeated and the main reason is he has a style that takes away the other fighter's offence. Some fans complain that Ward's tactics are illegal (others complain about Kovalev's headlocks) but the reality is if the ref allows it, then it's legal. I'm no fan of Ward's but the reason the judges had it close was because Kovalev allowed Ward to get inside and fight his fight. I thought Kovalev held his own on the inside but he didn't need to be there. Kovalev needs to keep Ward on the outside, score with his straighter punches and avoid an inside fight. Kov said before the fight that he wanted to show fans he can box with a guy who folks said was the better boxer and he proved he was the superior boxer! He fought Ward's fight and beat him but the judges gave the decision to Ward! Kovalev won't make the same mistake twice, he had respect for Ward in the first fight almost too much and he's coming with NONE at all! Ward's years of spoiling, illegal moves and fouling tactics will all come back to him on June 17! Kovalev will make it Ward's full time job tasting the canvass like a food and art convention!

Very good fights! I got Berchelt wearing down a very tough Miura who yes has a punchers chance due to that left hand but Miguel has a bit more in his toolbox to finish him! Berchelt by TKO 10th round in a war! Smith Jr vs Barrera will be another good one! Smith hits much harder but isn't as schooled as Barrera! I think the Cuban hits and makes him pay till he gets caught by a bomb and is taken out like last nights trash! Smith Jr is also very subtle with his techniques(played possum against Fonfara and punches with Hopkins knowing B Hop couldn't hurt him) Got the Union Worker with another upset win, KO in 9th round! Corrales should win, too much speed and movement!
