marvin hagler retired before he turned 35. GGG is clearly no longer in his physical prime. he's also had 350 fights. still dominating though. True. He's still dominant and feared in the MW division. When he loses one fight than one can say he's hit the wall. Until then he's the man to beat and so far nobody's been able to do it.

We don't know if he's slipping or that's his best because he's never fought anyone. He had a chance to show the world how good he was against Ward and we all know he wanted none of it. people still pretend that ggg ducked ward? this has been debunked so many times. wbc said they were going to order the fight soon and wards contract stated that he would get tune ups first. why would he sign that fight and delay the wbc fight agains cotto/canelo? thats smart how?since when did not agreeing to stupid demands=ducking? because you dont like him is not a good reason. why dont you ever bash ward for wanting 50-50 when he is the clear b-side? why dont you bash ward for wanting tune ups and not offering to fight ggg right away? what b-side makes the a-side wait around to fight? i know you have bigger fights coming up but can you fight me instead and give me everything i want too? Thank k2 for wasting his prime on no names then The blame lies with everyone. Chavez, Froch, Canelo, Martinez, Cott, Eubank, BJS. All those guys were being pursued at one point or another and most of them had a contract in front of them to sign and chose not to do it ( for sure Eubank, Chavez, BJS). Got to love boxing.

I don't even know what you are going on about at this point, but of course its dick measuring when you start throwing out names & who beats who or who doesn't beat who. No particular guy matters with what I'm talking about. I don't give a f#ck about names or care about any specific matchup or who wins when & if it does happen with what I'm talking about. The important question for me is: Is this a top ten guy in whatever division he's in? If yes he's a A level or elite guy in that division to me. Why do you act like you're butthurt then? Idk what YOU'RE going on about...you can't go by division because fighters jump divisions all the time, that's why I'm speaking of skills and quality of fighter...if golovkin WAS A level at 160, then 168 shouldn't be an issue to beat guys there, but he's avoided it, so that shows his lack of REAL skill and p4p status...whether you agree with p4p or not.

Yea & like I keep saying I'm not dick measuring guys in different weight divisions in the first place. The fact that Sanchez has said with his own mouth that golovkin KOs HWs in sparring, I think makes it more than fair to compare a 168 lb Ward (when this conversation about them fighting happened) to a 160 lb golovkin. Ward is a proven A level, while golovkin had not proven sh1t except a list of wins over C level guys.

Like I keep saying we got a drastically different thought process with this. You think a guy who's the 5th(?) best guy in a division like Davey is C+ cuz he is far from some Floyd, Manny or any P4P type guy. And I say whoever is 5th best in a division is a A level guy by virtue of being considered the 5th best guy in a division. Lol ok, we obviously don't see things the same way. I for instance consider Ward an A level fighter based on his skill, ability to adapt, etc. If you were to see a fight between ward and lemieux, David would not win a single rd.

This is the stuff I have problems with with many reasonable cats on NSB. Its the ain't done sh^t defense that you can basically use on anyone in boxing today cuz resume smashing is an art that's easily attainable by even the dummies of NSB. And there is levels to the you ain't done sh^t angle that you can use on anyone. When you first start to fight you legit fight ain't sh^t opponents most of the time. Then you move up & maybe fight some journeymen ain't sh^t guys. Then you get into contender status & then those guys ain't sh^t. Then you win a title, but you won it from some ain't sh^t title holder. Then you defend it against some ain't sh^t contenders. No one in boxing is fighting non-ain't sh^t guys when you have this sorta stance about how the sport works. I mean ALL THE GUYS ON TIP TOP like GGG is have fought a bunch of non-ain't sh^t guys to get where they got if we are being reasonable & not emotional cuz of something some dummy said hyping this guy or hating some other guy, but everyone keeps moving the ain't sh^t goal posts further & further up the ladder til there is like one cat who's the only guy who's non-ain't sh^t in a division & sometimes that's even a title that's retroactively taken away if he didn't perform well enough in the fight.
