Devestated for AK, he fought his heart out but after that left hook the writing was on the wall.
Man, it's going to be a long road back, but Khan will give it his all. Always been a fan, still am a fan, and will remain a fan till he retires. Props to Garcia too, but after all the sh*t his father talked my respect for them is limited
What about the right hands to the body from Garcia? That's what took AK's legs away. Plus, There's nothing wrong with the farther's actions. IT'S BOXING SON! :boxing:
Khan will leave Roach and get a payday on his way out. Again, Who noticed the right hands Garcia landed to AK's body? (ribs) That's what put him on queer street. IMO...
Manny doesn't like Taylor. Never did! this you tube video is too funny!
Emmanuel Steward Angry at Jermaine Taylor

I just watched the countdown... Taylor is in Pocono to train i think right there says how nervous manny is to have taylor fight Pavlik. Also the fact the taylor requested to fight at 168 as opposed to 160 says allot about his stamina!!! Manny is smart tho he hopes that he will catch Pavlik early with quickness and with a little power at 168. I dunno manny is very crafty!!! it's a gamble, i still think that pav is gunna own taylor tho.
I just watched it too. You're Right! They are nervous! Pavlik seems calm and ready. Good post!
KO KELLY!
I don't think Manny is that low. But ya never know? I know one thing. Manny dosen't like Taylor. Never did. Taylor needs Pat Burns back in his camp/corner. Pat likes the kid. It's hard to train a fighter you don't get along with. I've been there.

at 1st i was certain these pics were fakes.
thing is, experts can analyze these things and prove that they are fakes pretty easily. why haven't oscars lawyers hired an expert to prove that they are fake?.... suspicious!
why haven't they come out with the original pics of oscars face that were shopped into these pics?.... very suspicious!
Why waste time and money to give the photo scum their 15 min.
Pavlike wins, but I could also see Taylor getting another contreversial decision.
In the countdown to Taylor/Pavlik I heard Emmanuel Steward say, "Remember, one punch can end the fight" while he was working with Taylor during a trainin session and upon hearing this, I now have no doubt in my mind that Steward's tutelage of Taylor has made him into a pussy as I originally thought. I always hated Steward, true he makes winners out of fighters, but they end up winning in an overly cautious, uneventful way. Steward has pussified Taylor and it shows in his last few fights. Taylor is going to back up all night long and get beat up in this one, folks.
You're right!, I don't hate Manny but believe he's the wrong trainer for Taylor. He should have stayed with Pat Burns. I agree, Steward has "pussified" Taylor and one (Pavlik) punch will end the fight. If it goes to the score cards Taylor gets another gift!..NOT
Pav showed us a lot in the fight, He wins the first round against an aggressive Champ Taylor, Gets knocked down in the 2nd (shows chin & will) and wins the 3rd round big. Close rounds till the 7 th, then finishes Taylor by KO! What more does he need to prove? "Good Fighters Will Fear Him"
This just occurred to me. At the time of the stoppage, Taylor was ahead by 3 or 4 points on all cards. This means that he was on his way to winning a very controversial decision. Imagine if that happened AGAIN. Picture this in your minds, because this is what likely would have happened if the fight had gone to a decision: HBO has Pavlik ahead, most of press row has Pavlik ahead, the decision is about to be announced.... and the winner is... Jermain Taylor!!
The criticism and Taylor hate would go off the charts. On the other hand, if Taylor gets knocked out, like what happened, the attention turns to how great a fight it was. Taylor gets credit for taking part in such a great fight despite losing, and then they end up having a rematch anyways.
Good point Southpaw16, Also, Imagine if there was a differant referee that prematuraly stopped the fight in the second round and left us thinking, "What If ?"
GREAT FIGHT!
I'm not going to bash Freddy Roach. I respect what he's accomplished as a fighter & trainer. Also not a fan of Khan. but think he's making the right move by getting a new trainer. I would suggest he train with Micky Ward & Dick Eklund for his next fight & survives the grueling workouts then he should hire them.(if they want him) The clock is ticking.
"If a fighter & trainer doesn't jell it won't work"--Angelo Dundee--
I once gave a ride to a famous ex-fighter to a bar where he scored a large amount of drugs. I knew what he was up to but drove him anyway. The seriousness of what could of happened hit me on the ride home.. I told this so called friend that his stupidity could of got us arrested or shot!
"just sayin"
Khan was well on his way to stop Garcia btw. Khan shouldn't fight him though until his defense is up to par.
I didn't see Garcia in any danger. khan is not going to get better. What you see is all he'll ever be. Exciting club fighter. I don't know why he hired Roach and not go with the game plan...That's how you get KO'd...
I knew Hector too..
you didnt know hector you cunt!!!!!! i knew him personally. you take what you see in the ring and apply it to life. but what you see in the ring and what they are in life are two very different things. this man was a peoples man and he mingled with common people with no regard to status in life. and even still what kind of horrible person speaks in such a silly manner about a man losing his life. motherphuk you! you are the menstral container and a loser.
mrjoe, I knew Hector too, In the 1990's he would sometimes train at my gym when he had a fight in
So Florida..Always a gentleman, Never any disrespect or arrogance.. I offered him the key if he wanted to train when the gym wasn't crowded and he said no he didn't need special treatment.. He would show up with 2 trainers and a sparring partner and wait his turn to use the ring.. He was a great fighter and entertainer..It's sad to read the negative comments here when the man is brain dead and on life supports..Barring a miracle he will be gone soon..I know he had problems with the law recently but it's no reason to bash him now. That's WRONG!
R.I.P. Hector Camacho Sr.
khan is history. His best is not good enough for all the hype. Jim Lampley is a richard with no understanding of the dad & son relationship in boxing. Any kid would love to have a dad like Mr Garcia.
