Pavlik will win the fight but should worry he will get robbed by the HBO judges. In the first fight the judges had Taylor ahead on the score cards yet other than the knock down in the 2nd round he took a good ole fashioned beating. Won't surpise me to see Taylor get beat down again and still win. It's a shame the judging has to be so biased for certain fighters, how many fights does Taylor have to lose before it's reflected in the scorecards!!!
Taylor may catch him early but he will probably freak out and throw wildly like a moron again. Im gonna say Pavlik fights a smarter fight this time and ends in the same result, but maybe this time with Taylor sleeping in a neutral corner.
If Kelly is landing his jab early again he'll win, he'll break Jermaine down and stop him in the later rounds.
Taylor cant allow himself to fade down the stretch or he's going to get stopped again, the longer the fight goes the better for Kelly.
anyone know what the undercard is?
Kelly Pavlik vs. Jermain Taylor, rematch, 12 rounds, super middleweights; Fernando Montiel vs. Martin Castillo, 12 rounds, for Montiel's WBO junior bantamweight title; Cristian Mijares vs. Jose Navarro, 12 rounds, for Mijares' WBC junior bantamweight title; Ronald Hearns vs. Juan Astorga, 8 rounds, junior middleweights; Sergio Martinez vs. Eduardo Sanchez, 10 rounds, junior middleweights; Brian Viloria vs. Cesar Lopez, 8 rounds, flyweight; Mikey Garcia vs. TBA, 6 rounds, junior lightweight; Danny Jacobs vs. TBA, 4 rounds, middleweights
anyone know what the undercard is?
FERNANDO MONTIEL and CRISTIAN MIJARES will be defending their titles in separate 12-round bouts and junior middleweight contender RONALD HEARNS will be risking his undefeated record on the pay-per-view extravaganza headlined by the 12-round rematch rumble between world middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik and former world champion Jermain Taylor in one of boxing’s fiercest rivalries.
Montiel will be defending his World Boxing Organization (WBO) title against former world champion Martin Castillo. World Boxing Council (WBC) champion Mijares will be defending his title against three-time world title challenger Jose Navarro. Hearns will go toe-to-toe against Juan Astorga in an eight-round junior middleweight bout. Their combined record is an impressive 155-11-4 (87 KOs) – a winning percentage exceeding 91% with over half their victories coming by knockout.
Taylor comes out sharp and tryies to keep it in the center. Pavlick loses the first three. By the sixth it's an even fight and Jermaine starts to tire. Pavlick starts connecting with the right and by the 8th or 9th Taylor is put to sleep.
Pavlick tko 8
Pretty damn close

I like how this thread was made 1st then someone else made a 'final prediction' thread. We don't need this many threads for one issue. This one was made before the other.
Taylor will win by stoppage, round 10.
I got Pavlik by KO...
MAN THIS IS GONNA BE A GREAT FIGHT.. CANT WAIT :boxing:
I got Taylor by decision.
People underestimating Jermain but he will rise to the occasion and beat Kelly by a decision no one will argue.
Taylor will NOT GET KO'd
