DLH is a bag of flab, he looked like a ball of putting in his last fight, he needs to go and work out for a long time before considering jumping in weight again. Plus Kostya would put that fraud golden goose out of commission even if he came in at 190.
Actually he looked great physically in last fight.
It doesn't matter.
All someone has to do is simply claim someone is the "greatest of all time". Soon after, a bunch of people just jump on a bandwagon.
Most of the people that jock Bruce Lee's sack are kids who really have no concept of Martial Arts.
They just assume Jean Claude Van Damme is the G.O.A.T. Because of his kicks against biker gangs. This world is full of too many stupid fucks.
They're the same people that think Rocky Balboa is a real Boxer. You just made those statements like they aren't true.
wow someones a HATER here? why so much hatin for?
I'm not a hater, I just hate you, and know that Bruce Lee wasn't a fighter, so he shouldn't be considered one.
okay, you don't have to be a 'fighter' to be a martial artist...Your reasoning is flawed.
How does one become the "greatest martial artist" of all time if he doesn't actually compete in anything that resembles a sanctioned or match? Does one just stand in the middle of a room kicking, and chopping while displaying his various styles and techniques. Or does it have something to do with how loud he goes hiyah yah?
More than likely Segal.
He earned that title because he's the most lethal man next to Lee and Norris.
It's a sin to mention those 2 fucks names in the same sentence as the great Norris. Go say 20 Chuck Norrises and he might not smit the with his round house kick.
Money.
Only because I personally witnessed Norris (Walker TX Ranger) round house kick a couple of hillbillies inside a seedy after-hours moonshine operation.
He's automatically the greatest of all time.
Fixed it for you.
Thanks.
It's hard to distinguish between kicks when he's flying around like Crouching Tiger. When Chuck is 30 feet elevated I lose sight and interest.
No matter how many times you see him use his round house kick to knock down the sides of houses, you might lose sight of him due to his speed, but never interest.
He is Chuck Fucking Norris after all.
Yeah so I hear Bruce Lee is taking both of their places.
Wait, who was Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy before then?
You're just bursting bubbles that have made up my world with every post you make.
thats true Martial Arts came from the OLD SCHOOL anchient Asian Cultures and their influence spread all over the world to Brasil, France etc.
Bruce Lee was def the MAN!
before him id say its all about: MAS OYAMA! that guy literally chopped off Bull's horns with a single BLOW. tell me he wouldnt F up anyone in their prime today with skills like that.
You really do suck at life.
I hope somebody does this world a favor, and hits you with a bus before you can have a chance to reproduce.
yea, almost everybody I know is from some way connected to boxing and i have met SOME GREAT people.... also met some terrible people in the game but good or not,. they should have been there...they go on shows talking about how great Pep was, this and that etc etc...but they dont come to the funerallike theywould if a modern day guy passed... I bet if DeLahoya passed away these guys would make the trip.....and part of that, even if they dont mean it that way on the surface, would be because it would more of a "thing to do," or "a place to be" type of event
It's things like this that make me sad to live in a place such as Houston, basically no boxing history, and just a handful of what I consider to be good, solid and competent people in the game. If I lived within hours of the general area, I'd have been there and I'm just a nobody in the big picture.
Sad shit.
if you know anything about martial artists, Grand Masters are not allowed to fight in competition. it is simply not allowed. theres alot of documentation of Bruce Lee mopping everyone up from street fights, to random challenges, to even random fights with the extras on the movie sets and they all were over with a single blow.
No he didn't you assclown.
You're just making up more bullshit.
Bruce Lee never had anykind of documented matches, unless you consider him saying he had 100's of roof top battles with Triad Gangs in his homeland(give me a fucking break) to be some form of documentation.
It's a damn shame that such a thing had to occur on a already dark day.
Since I was 11, so for the last 10 years, I had the chance to meet some of the greatest people in my life on account of this sport. I've also meet some of the biggest pieces of shit on account of the ring.
One way or the other, it's a damn shame.
R.I.P Mr. Pep
No, but you also don't have any solid evidence stating that he didn't fight either.
You're probably one of the dumbest people I've seen on here.
Not having evidence of him fighting is in fact evidence of him not actually fighting in anykind of sanctioned bout.
you are one disrespectful piece of shit, speaking ill of the dead is as low as you can go.
If you found that disrespectful, I wouldn't read the other 630 some odd posts I've made, you fucking panty waist son of a bitch.
thats what they said. I wasnt personally in the station, but i was in seattle when it happened. and the producers and the disk jockey were satifsfied, and from what i heard they even said that they would believe the outcome unless some they hired did the test. So apparently they hired someone from the seattle area and he performed it. He said he had tested hulk hogan, arnold Schwfnngfnfffnginfid, and lou ferigno. and that in his personal opinion and professionally (Through The tests) that there were no roids currently in slys system.
I still have a problem with it, sounds like a publicity stunt to me.
yeah well chet yorton never failed a drug test ever. and this is what he looked like......................back in the sixties when they didnt even have all the different ways and knowledge of how to maximise there workouts, and hes pretty goddamn impressive to me, what you think
http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a118/Rastasmoker/chetyorton3.jpg
Sly is 61 though dude, that doesn't happen.
Also, you've got to remember that Arnold competed around the same time as that dude, and he has said more then a few times that he took roids and he never got caught. They hardly if ever got tested good enough to have anything that is close to accurate.
Sly has to be pumpin' roids. He's way too old to be in good shape like that. You can be in good shape when you're that old, but not quite like that.
Not nearly like that, bro.
Chavez and Oscar are two of the most popular fighters of this era and have a huge fan base. Pea was never was a fan favorite so had few in the crowd to cheer him on. It wasn't hate, he just wasn't popular.
His style didn't make for him to be a fan favorite.
The general public, and quite a few boxing fans to boot will never get behind a defensive minded fighter.
I dont think thats Tarver, sure looks like him but the papers aid it was an actor named...? i forget, but it wasnt Tarver.
