I'm still trying to get my hands on the Zuniga fight, seeing as how that was really Kelly's first big step up in opponents. I read that it was a damned good fight. Me too. Heard Kelly got viciously kd'ed but survived and won that fight. Everybody who saw that acclaimed it was very good.

Pavlik has a lot to offer and he has a pretty well rounded offensive arsenal. From what I've seen and read on him he's a very solid fighter who would be dangerous to any fighter in the middleweight division. High risk/low reward though. You are right on that one. And I see why Wright turned down Pavlik fight. Winky is looking for big fights now, something he well deserved.

I like Wlads left hook. Prolly one of the best left hooks a HW possesed. Its short, powerful and very fast. HE can also double and triple on it which is a beauty to watch.

Because Shawers is considered the biggest puncher ever by most boxing experts...And damn for once these experts got it right. Dude ko'ed like first 52 of his opponents and most of these were pure ko's and tko's. These guys just went to deep, deep sleep. And if you did not notice or maybe you just dont know but Shavers put all of his body weight into that punch plus he started that right hand from his legs and he literally hit Holmes with all his body power and incredible velocity concetrated in that punch. Just in case if you dont have any sense of humor, when I said that he could make a hole in an armor I was speaking figuratively.

Never thought TOS's strategy was to take him into the later rounds. TOS after that KD was trying to TKO/KO Wlad and was fighting aggressive. Not timidly like before the KD.
