Wlad (WBO champ at the time, after beating Byrd) called out Lennox Lewis right after his fight with Derrick Jefferson. For two years you could hear a pin drop.
You couldn't have put this video in your other "Wlad is ducking Haye" thread?
lennox lewis would of beaten wlad, and im a wlad fan.
why do people think khan moving up in weight will help his chin? just cause it helped people like Cotto doesnt mean itll help Khan. Khan isnt drained like Cotto was. Facing a power puncher at 147 would probably be dangerous for him. Hell do well againest decent fighters but if he faced a power puncher in his run at 147, hes out.
The 135lb version of Khan would of been Ko'd by maidana, quite possibly from that right hand in the first round that clipped him
Probably Amir Khan
I think Bradley will be too small to do anything other than Cameos at WW, if he fights a big W/W with skills, it will show, a bit like Hatton/Collazo showed Hatton was just too small.
I see Bradley staying at 140, with the odd cameo at 147, Khan will probably end up @154, with maybe a cameo or 2 at 160 for the right opponent
Khan could probably campaign at 160. Arthur Abraham for example is the same height as Khan and he was great at 160. Khan has speed, power and skills so I wouldn't rule it out.
But I think Khan said he wants to retire age 28 or something like that (I doubt he will though)
He could even win the H/W title (hes the same height as jones and toney)
lol im kidding though
I'm no Haye fan, but you have to say Haye.
Adameks LHW reign can be discounted, he basically had a short reign at C/W after Haye vacated (a good reign but short)
and at H/W other than Areolla (who is overrated) he hasn't really done anything.
I honestly belive Valuev is a better win than Areolla.
1) Bradley or Khan
2) Bradley or Khan
3) Kotelnik (Rightful WBC and IBF champion)
4) Maidana
5) Alexander
Yeah thats about right.
On talent, i'd even be tempted to put Peterson and ortiz above devon, but i wont
Even if the ring scored it Kotelnik (which I'm not sure they did or didn't), it woudln't matter what they think because they can't overturn a decision which means they have to honor his victory.
Alexander is currently ranked #3 by them, Bradley #1. Khan CLEARLY isn't going to fight either one of them this year so that means if the ring belt isn't awarded in this fight, we won't have a ring champion until at least some time in 2012.
Again, why would anyone oppose this again? You would be in favor of no Ring Champion until 2012 for what reason???
based on what?
Wladamir is the hardest puncher of all time imo.
people talk about foreman and frazier, but those bums couldnt even ko a walking punchbag like george Chuvalo
David Haye is featherfisted, he has no power at heavyweight
Theres a possibility that he can take a few more punches off wlad than people expect, if thats the case he probably ko's wlad rather than win on points
Yeah i noticed that as well.
Also golden boy arranged maidanas shorts, and they made them too big so they kept falling down which frustrated maidana.
they stacked the deck
wlad could fight Haye and Chisora 2 on 1 if he felt like it and ko them both in the first round.
Chisora will be blasted in april, Wlad wont even need to train that hard for Haye after that fight, and Haye would be brutally ko'd again.
adamek should be higher than haye, but that is disgusting.
adamek is a top 20 fighter
no he's not.
Michael Grant and that other bum he just fought are jokes, and Areolla is ranked lower than Valuev
Haye is the biggest pussy, biggest ducker, biggest fraud and biggest coward of all time.
Anyone who tries to defend Haye is a gullible clueless retard.
This man knows what he is talking about
Haye = Cowardly retard.
What is the reason for putting him over Ward or even Bute?
Even Kessler has a strong argument for being better ranked than Froch imo.
I don't think so.
Body of work, Froch is far ahead, and Kessler didn't comprehensivley beat Froch, he didn't prove beyond doubt that he is the better fighter, he just proved he was the better man on the night.
