There have been 78 heavyweight world champions to date (pre-NBA, NBA, WBA, WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF, IBO).
EVERYONE of them has faced younger-than-self opponents.
Why is David *poof* Haye THE ONLY heavyweight world champion to date (out of 78 champs) who has not fought A SINGLE FIGHT against a younger opponent? His MEDIAN opponent is 34+ years old. His last fights were against a 37yro, 36yro, 38yro, 39yro. This is unheard of.
Any ideas why David Nay is doing it?
He was happy fighting Chisora who isn't Britains best Heavyweight.
So why not Haye?
I agree, but i think cos Vitali might be having his last fight ever he might want it to be the best, rather than fight, haye, Price and then Fury.
Just fight the best and then call it a day.
Maybe he should fight either price or fury while waiting for Vitali as they are both highly touted fighters, and if he can overcome then, it will give him some credense to fight Vitali.
As Vitali will want to make sure he is fighting britains best heavyweight.

I'm going to put you on 'timeout' until you behave.
http://www.timeoutmbsc.com/images/Tologo.jpgAlso, aren't you named after the nickname for OTC cold medicine that impoverished/hick kids take as a hallucinogen? That is like the lowest form of drug use (on par with huffing paint) and you're named after it.
Who are these young established fighters you're talking about here?

I'm not gonna go over a argument with you via online over virginity issues.
If I tell you my ex GF is most likely hotter than anybody you ever talked to much less dated, you will just say I'm lying.
If I tell you I took a hottie out during Fall Quarter and had lots of fun while you were busying worshiping Floyd and Pacquaio on Friday and Saturday nights - you will just say I'm lying
If I tell you I'm enjoying college life as you vent and rage and attempt to troll (but fail miserably) on a boxing site..
you will just say I'm lying.
So what's the point?
Go bak to worshiping Pacquaio and Floyd baby nuts.
Oh if you love Floyd- you love Pac.. it's common sense to every Non-***** and Non *******.
Pac fans ARE Floyd fans
Floyd fans ARE Pac fans..
you guys just the same retards on different sides of the same coin."My exes are hotter than any girls you've ever dated"
Also, Floyd and Manny are far from my favorite current fighters or favorite fighters of all time.

Explain to me what the hell does Pacquaio have to do with heavyweights and David Haye.
Did you seriously just enter a david haye thread to spew more Pacquiao-Floyd garbage?
GOD DAMN Virgin .. SMH at virgins like you.
Stop watching midgetsThread title says, "why is david haye the only world champion who NEVER faced a YOUNGER opponent?" and I was just pointing out that there are other fighters who have hardly faced younger opposition in their entire careers. It really depends more on the climate of the division you're currently in.
Quite a lot of projecting you're doing from your mother's basement there buddy. Apparently your lack of reading comprehension is only matched by your unvented sexual frustrations.
Seems to me TS is trying to discredit Haye because he's scared he might actually beat Vittles. So someone please answer me this....even though Vits may have lost a step is he still clearly not one of the top heavyweights today? And if this was true than in any other era besides this would Haye not be given credit for targeting such a threat?
Pacquiao has only fought 3 guys who were younger than him in the last 15 years (Solis, Cotto and Bradley) and that is in divisions where guys can be shot by their mid-late 20s.
This is unsure since a lot of birth dates are missing.
But as I said before: Mike Tyson is the youngest of all heavyweight champs. And let me point out that Mike Tyson is not only the youngest of so-called-heavyweight champions but the youngest of real heavyweight champions (200 lbs x2):
.
I see youre still operating under the false premise that only fat people can be heavyweights. :nonono:
Heavyweight has ALWAYS meant (unlimited) dating back to the 18th century. Bob fitzsimmions was only 160 and was knocking out 230 lb men in his prime. He was as REAL a heavyweight fighter as any of the fat-asses who exist today.
We'll you're wrong since Enzo is younger than Haye...
On the flipside, both Klitchko's are older than Haye, Adamek is older than Haye, Povetkin is older than Haye.
IF Haye were to fight and beat all those fighters (unlikely I know) would you still be saying the same thing because he as a HW hadn't fought younger fighters?
I am talking about ALL of his fights. He NEVER FOUGHT against younger opponents whether as cruiser or heavy.

How about Enzo Maccarinelli who was I think 28 when he fought Haye... Am I wrong here?
Does this mean that Tyson was 30 before he faced anyone who was younger?

#1 Mike Tyson
#2 Muhammad Ali
#9 Wladimir Klitschko
#35 David Haye
Moreover Tyson started as a heavyweight (where the age is generally higher) thus he is incomparable to Haye.
If Haye keeps his word to retire at age 30 then Haye will additionally be the youngest champ to retire, only bottomed by Ingemar Johansson (30.58yro, who started to box 2.5 years earlier than Haye) and Michael Bentt (retired due to brain swelling) (29.54yro).
Haye's style of retiring is unheard of. A disgrace.
Haye's career length (years from first fight to last) will only be bottomed by the aforementioned Michael Bentt (brain swelling) and Sultan Ibragimov (the master of the dark art to lean back).
How old is Haye?
Haye is now 30.
I like this thread on the fact that thread starter actually went lengths and did his research
The style is very revealing. I think the TS is on his 3'rd or 4'th account now.
Mike Tyson faced 8 opponents (+9 other with unknown birth dates) who were younger, for example Bruce Seldon.
Floyd Patterson faced 18 (+ 8 unknown) opponents who were younger for example Muhammad Ali, Jimmy Ellis or Tom McNeely.
Also the median age is bewildering
* David Haye: 34yro opponents (whole career)
* Floyd Patterson:26 yro opponents (whole career)
* Mike Tyson: 29yro (whole career)
You see, it's not only that he NEVER faced YOUNGER opponents, it's the TYPICAL AGE of opponents that looks suspicious, especially since Haye spent most of his career at cruiserweight where the fighters are usually younger.
