I'm basing these rankings on these guys skills as well as what they've done in the ring lately.
1.) Sergio "Marvilla" Martinez- this guys been on a real roll lately, his wins over Pavlik and Williams are very impressive, boxing's fighter of the year for 2010
2.) Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins- the model of excellence, at the age of 46 this man continues to shine. Looked very good against a young champion in Pascal in his last fight. B-Hop is simply the most accomplished fighter of this era.
3). Granny Frauduiao- quite frankly, he's only at this spot due to his talent. Here are his last three fights: Clottey, Margarito, and soon to be Mosley:lol1: I have no idea why he's so terrified of random blood testing and JMM. What does he fear more random blood testing or JMM? As good as he is, I think he's very over rated.
4). Juan Manuel Marquez- the model of consistency, this guy is the consummate professional, had another outstanding performance against Micheal Katsidis. There's nothing not to like about JMM other than the fact that he drinks his piss:lol1:
5). Carl Froch- it's about time that this man gets recognized for his accomplishments. He's beaten Pascal, KO Taylor, got a controversial decision against Dirrell, and just shut out Abraham. He deserves props.
On the rise: Tim Bradley and Andre Ward
Btw, if/when Floyd decides to come back he regains his # 1 ranking.:boxing:
Why do you say that in every post. Get creative. Name the UK fighter that can beat Mayweather. Thats a tall task.
Every post?
No UK fighter can beat Mayweather.
Because he doesnt fight.
Yeah he cant push past Floyd and manny.
Froch has lost recently and so did Bhop.
SMBAH (Shake My Bloody American Head)
Top 5:
1. Mayweather
2. Pacquiao
3. Ward
4. JMM
5. Martinez
They have been the most consistent and impressive
When did BHOP last lose again?
Mikkel Kessler is easy? He was the favorite to win the tournament. Kessler also beat Froch. Dre kept busy with a very akward guy in Sakio Bika. He did what he wanted to against Green. No biggie, one more fight and he will answer the questions about who's the best up close and in person.
yeah, cant wait.
What the hell did he do besides beat AA and open a present against Dirrell. I cant wait for Ward to make him look amateur and bloody him up. It may be by head butt but so what. He's got a big mouth and little skill to back it up.
hes been fighting n betaing top guys his last 5/6 fights. all wards been doin is fightin easy fgihts in oakland

What a waste of time reading this... Who cares what you think, p4p #1 is still Pac get over it dude
I won't say pound for pound. I'll list the top 5 I like to watch the most, for a variety of reasons.
1. Manny Pacquiao. Fun to watch, fights good fighters 99.9% of the time, exciting fights. Not to mention the skill and the ability to keep topping himself.
2. Timothy Bradley. Reminds me of Pacquiao in a few ways. However, less power and better head movement. Still, always fun to watch. Can box, can slug. Can take a great shot and has some quality technique.
3. Andre Ward. Not alwaysthe most exciting, but he's a skilled fighter who finds a way to win. Has made decent fighters look horrible just based upon his skill.
4. Sergio Martinez. Quality. Exciting. Had tough times, kept fighting through and getting better and kept a smile on his face the whole time. So fun to watch. Very skilled.
5. Juan Manuel Marquez. So much skill. Technique. Ability to adjust. Combination and counter punching that is virtually unrivaled. Almost on a historical level, to some degree.
Honorable mention:
Juan Manuel Lopez.
Saul Alvarez.
Lucian Bute.
Amir Khan.
Bernard Hopkins.
No particular order for either list.
I don't know how people can have Martinez as their pound for pound number 1. If he was the same size as Mayweather, Pacquiao, Marquez how do you think he would fair? I'd see him getting thrashed.
He has impressed me this year but I don't think he is as good as people make him out to be.
what a terrible list you got there........................imo:wave:
U know what's funny though, that's the beauty of pfp,it holds absolutely no merit in the real world & is based purely on opinion. This is my opinion,I don't care about urs,so why don't U go make another Floyd hate tread & leave me be,truck??:bottle:
1) Pacquiao
Dominant in both his fights last year winning every round, against two against tough ex world champions and became an 8th world champion.
2) Martinez
Two great wins over Pavlik and Williams and scored the KO of the year.
3) Marquez
Another good win over Diaz and a great performance against Kats, cleaned out the division.
4) Donaire
Had a punch perfect performance against Sydorenko winning by a great KO.
5) Froch
Schooled Abraham with a dominant performance a former favourite for the super six.
