Well hes right about that. You must be a khan dick sucker.
No I'm just a realist. Paulie is a good fighter whose very game but only a malignaggi hugger would say something like you and Atlas said.
I believe he said last night that "Paulie Malignaggi is one of the best things to ever happen to boxing."
I proceeded burst out laughing and then muted Friday Night Fights.
Pavlik is a boxer, Lebron is not. Therefore using the rules set forth by the Marquess of Queensbury, I think the result is pretty much certain.
Plus, they wouldn't fight, I've seen pictures of them together post-Cavs game they seem friendly.
Martinez is to old to become a face of boxing. So he should probably line up a bunch of lucrative fights to make sure he's set for retirement. That probably includes a Margarito fight, Pavlik rematch, Mayweather and maybe even Cotto. He should fight Williams too but as we saw in the attendance figures last weekend thats not gonna pay much.
If Wlodarczyk wins on Saturday, Siki we must become the official Adamek-Wlodarczyk promoters. Flood the message boards with subliminal propoganda, lol.
Regardless of who wins, they are primed for a big match in the CW division. Big money fights with likes of Green, Huck or Cunningham.
Hey man, try this on for size for a huge Polish fight. Adamek-Wlodarcyzk!
Sure, Adamek would have to be lured back down to Cruiser, but it would feature two prime Polish Cruiserweights. I think the money would be right if it came about. If Woldarcyzk can bring a record purse to a fight with Fragomeni, than one can only wonder what he could do with Adamek as a dance partner.
This was a good segment. It was a good break from the training focus of the 24/7 segment. It was interesting to see the busy day to day life of Pacquiao. All those businesses he owns and commitments.
Thanks for posting the vid.
I'm looking forward to this fight Rush. I think that Krzysztof will be able to apply pressure in the late rounds and tire Fragomeni like the first fight. I like a late stoppage for the Polish cruiserweight.
I agree with most of your assessment. I think that Fragomeni might be a bit tired in the late rounds. However, I think he's sturdy enough to withstand the championship stanzas. Wlodarcyzk UD.
I think it will be a brawl though Fragomeni proved again he can trade in his tough loss to Erdei.
Khan is much more athletically gifted. Paulie has no recent quality wins to suggest he'll win other than the two performances against a career lightweight. Khan will win a comfortable decision.
I remember seeing a replay of the Lujan-Margarito fight and just kind of watching it out of the corner of my eye. I just presumed it was the Cotto fight and when it ended I heard the announcer say something about a horrific ear injury, I was like wtf, hey thats not Cotto.:boxing:
I think he's live too. I wonder what would happen to Ward if he got caught with a green uppercut or left hook. I think he could be staggered.
I'm pulling for Green winning because would make the standings in that tournament so spread out. Would make all the third fights crucial for almost everyone would probably stay til the end.
What? Do you have a source?
Why would he fight Luevano? Luevano said he was having trouble making 126. Does Poon plan on moving up?
Here's the source Philboxing.com-I think the plan is to move him up

POONSAWAT STOPS KIMURA IN 4, SIGNS WITH GOLDEN BOY

MAHASARAKHAM, THAILAND - WBA super bantamweight world champion Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym from Thailand made a successful second defense of his title by scoring a brutal KO over Japanese challenger Shoji Kumura in Masaharakahm, Thailand Thursday night.
New Zealand referee Mr. Ferlin Marsh correctly spared Kimura from further punishment by halting actions at 2:23 of the 4th round.
From the beginning of intense battle, Poonsawat (41-1, 29 KOs) looked much faster, stronger, and aggressive than the brave Japanese challenger who was knocked down to the canvas two times during that torturous 4th round.
In contrast, Kimura (23-4-2, 9 KOs) was never able to mount any meaningful offensive that could counter the vicious, relentless attacks sent by the 5' 4½" Thailand fighter.
Right after the fight, the Thai’s manager Niwat Laosuwanwat, president of Galaxy Boxing Promotions announced an agreement with Golden Boy Promotions for the 29-years-old Poonsawat to fight before American audiences.
Their likely next target is former featherweight champion Steven Luevano (37-2-1, 15 KOs) in Las Vegas by the end of the year.
This is a good article. I expected that Yonnhy would be a no frills kind of guy but this reveals how regular a guy he is. Cool profile.
Good luck to both fighters on Saturday.
I dunno if I'd count Cazares. Darchinyan is the real WBA champ, IMO.
I guessed I missed what happened with Vic and the WBA. Do they still officially consider him the official champ or did he vacate? On their website as of March he is considered their champ with Cazares as #1 contender. But Vic's next fight is only for the IBF title.
Povetkin's been running scared for a year from Wlad fighting the likes of Javier Mora and Leo Nolan. Wlad should reject these tests and leave Povetkin in the cold. He shouldn't give up $20,000 of his money in the purse for some second rate mandatory dodger.
He vacated the IBF belt at 115 a while ago. He's the WBC/WBA champ at 115.
He's moving to 118 and fighting for the IBO belt. As far as I know, he hasn't vacated his two belts at 115.
Thanks for clearing that up. Yea I think I got confused between IBF/IBO for a sec.
Hatton's the man. I think he should come back if he could possibly knock off the weight in a healthy manner. If he can he's got a couple more productive years in the ring.
Thats a nice list I got five more for 10-11
Celestino Caballero vs Yuriokis Gamboa
Vic Darchinyan vs Nonito Donaire
Fernando Montiel vs Anselmo Moreno/Nehomar Cermeno winner
Ivan Calderon vs Giovanni Segura
Kryszstof Wlodarczyk vs Tomasz Adamek
Malignaggi wants to be known for something, so he keeps making inflammatory comments. He's a virtual unknown in New York, so he'll try to attach himself to the Pac/Roach gravy train to get press. I feel bad for him actually, can't even fill up the Wamu Theatre
