With Hugo Cazares and Fernando Montiel's thrilling wins over highly respected competition in Japan, Arce's recent upswing and Soto's upcoming title defense on Saturday in Los Mochis, boxing fever is in full swing. Congrats to the sons of Los Mochis.
He vacated the IBF belt at 115 a while ago. He's the WBC/WBA champ at 115.
He's moving to 118 and fighting for the IBO belt. As far as I know, he hasn't vacated his two belts at 115.
Thanks for clearing that up. Yea I think I got confused between IBF/IBO for a sec.
I guessed I missed what happened with Vic and the WBA. Do they still officially consider him the official champ or did he vacate? On their website as of March he is considered their champ with Cazares as #1 contender. But Vic's next fight is only for the IBF title.

I dunno if I'd count Cazares. Darchinyan is the real WBA champ, IMO.
