It's not a contest between them of who can get in or stay out of car wrecks. Spence probably felt bad for Thurman being in a car crash and Thurman probably felt bad about Spence's car crash. I doubt either of them wers gloating or pleased at the other's misfortune.
I've dealt with several Spence fan boys who lol'd over Thurman hydroplaning.

A client of mine who is a Medical Doctor from Russia informed me that Vitali is clearly showing signs of fighters dementia. He has a difficult time speaking Russian now. It's so bad now that he's often made fun of. He is regularly lampooned. l I was surprised and saddened to hear this. I am a fan and would never make this up. To me he is easily top 5 ever at Heavyweight and hardly lost many rounds rounds let alone a fight.

The fighters are paid millions of dollars to loose.

It all started in the amateur days were he fixed the matches for Beterbiev for example against Kovalev in the semi-finals of the Russian championship in 2007. The idea behind this was that Beterbiev could go on and fight the world championships after being Russian champion – this was an investment from the Dagestani oliegarch, Beterbiev could eventually go pro and become world champion the Oliegarch would earn even more money than he has invested.
