I've never thought he was literally scared to fight Pacquiao more than scared of losing his "0", which in reality is what he's based his whole career on. How do you gather yourself at 34-35 and redeem yourself and or have people take you seriously about being the best when the reason why you tell people you're the best is because nobody's beaten you?
I have no idea why people think Margarito prime or not had a chance to beat Floyd.
Too slow with his hands and feet to be anything more than Target practice for an 05-06 Floyd.
A Cotto or Margarito win would've left many Mayweather fans salivating today, and quite possibly would've trumped Pacquiao even more being he'd beaten two of Pac's biggest wins years prior.
It's better to say you beat the guy than to say " I would've"
I think Pac vs Ortiz would be a pretty good scrap, but Ortiz will get bodied as the fight goes on. We can't forget, though Ortiz looked great in the Berto fight, he got his share of hits along with being dropped himself.
I can't imagine Ortiz having a chance once Manny's gets his groove going in the fight.
I did it twice and the second time I didn't have surgery for a few months, but I rehabbed before the surgery...it wasn't so bad...
with all that being said, this is all total bullshi t. shane was fine. that was his 3rd fight in a row he didn't even try to win
Yea my sh*t tore during a baseball game in High School. Had surgery 2 days later. Rehab wasn't so bad, but just a pain in the ass to deal with (at least for me).
For you to fight Manny Pacquiao you have to be over the hill.Is there any fighter whom Pacquiao fought but was not Over the Hill in the last 3 yrs?
You believe Oscar, Mosley, and Marquez were prime fighters when they fought Floyd?
just watched that **** on espn.com with fight night simulated fights and Pac beats prime Duran and Mosley...that **** is so fake.. no way maybe Floyd beats um but Manny would get owned by Duran who was a version of him but bigger better and a chin like gold...Mosley in his prime just as fast and a toe 2 toe fight would end with pac on the mat!!
Your thoughts
Its a video game, it's not meant to be taken seriously.
With that being said, I think people need to realize that Pacquiao quite possibly could've been a problem in any era. Does that mean he'd beat the sh*t out of a prime Mosley or Duran? No, but I think people are too quick to think someone from a previous era would just destroy Pacquiao off GP. Neither Mosley or Duran have (or had) seen a style like Manny's in their entire career, so it leaves it open for debate of course, but I wouldn't totally rule out Manny beating them.
Sh*t, 3 years ago people thought you were crazy to put Pacquiao in with Cotto. I just try to keep an open mind.
I would say it's pretty impressive either way, but a KO of Mosley early in the fight from Manny to me would be...

Either they don't have time for the case(the courts) or the DA don't have enough evidence yet.
Either way the more keep getting pushed back the better it is for Floyd. I think they are going to work out something so they can't stop wasting tax payees money for some bullsh1t. Only ones losing is those kids.
LOL yea, the legal system really cares about tax payer's money.

Based on what? when was the last time Cotto looked good?
Jennings? that was years ago, and besides that its jennings
Cotto aint "prescotting" anyone, let alone a bigger stronger, tougher guy like Ortiz
Ortiz may be younger and "possibly" stronger at this point, but Cotto's a really crafty guy with tons of experience along with a good body attack that can cause problems for Ortiz. Also, though Ortiz beat Berto, we can't forget he was getting nailed with hard shots, and I'm inclined to say Cotto hits harder than Berto.
In respect to his fight with Mayorga, not many people look incredible against Mayorga. But Cotto to me showed patience and stuck with his game plan and inevitably ended the fight with a TKO.
The KO would mean sh!t all, when Mosley is a 10 - 1 underdog and coming off a dominating loss to Mayweather and another loss from a guy came from a TV show.
Back in 2009 when Mosley was the #1 welterweight after decapitating Margarito, I'd be impressed.
George Foreman was obviously past his best during his 2nd run at Heavyweight. Though he'd been beaten, KO'ing him was still an achievement not since Ali had anyone achieved in close to 25 years. Mosley being KO'd is still an achievement for any current Welterweight.
Cotto by decision.
Ortiz at WW seems a little more resilient. May be a better fight than people think. But can Cotto make 147 with no problems now? He came in close to 154 limit for Mayorga.
Ofcourse. Mosley already had 5 losses when floyd beat him. But he has never been KO'ed or stopped. :boxing:

I never seen any fighter throws a str8 right like that. Most time it follows a jab. A guy like Floyd usuallys crouch and shoots up a lead right. Freddie is right he'll never get a fighter toto execute that. Hes never done this his career as boxer, so he's teaching ****ery! It looks good but it's ****ery. Freddie your overrated.
Not exactly a "straight" right, but this technique has been used by a lot of fighters.
Mayweather fans: "Pacquiao ducked the fight! He turned down the tests and proved he's a cheat!"
Pacquiao Fans: "Floyd NEVER asked for drug testing for any fighter before Pacquiao! Now all of a sudden he wants drug testing? He's ducking the fight!"
in 3....2....1............
which is sad. smh
Though Mosley is past his best, he's still a tough guy to fight and has never been stopped in his professional career. No matter how you look at it, it's still impressive on the part of Pacquiao if he does it.
Cotto even at 154 has accumulative power, but maybe not as effective as at 147. But even at 147 he wasn't KTFO of people more than just staying consistent with his shots and wearing you down.
i wonder if bradly is balking on the kahn fight to get the mayweather fight.i would like to see that scrap.but i could be wrong:dunno:
I think he has a better chance at fighting Sugar Ray Leonard honestly...
