Couple of points:
Mosley was coming off a long rest when he fought Floyd and was prob over trained
Mosley is coming off a big defeat (floyd) and bad performance (sergio)
Floyd came in stronger (looking atleast) than Mosley
Pacquiao will be smaller than Mosley
Floyd took on a Mosley that had never been dominated as such
Pacquiao takes on him after (psychological damage)
Floyd could not stop Mosley but absolutely whooped him worse than anyone could imagine...
If Pacquiao stops him, will you be more impressed than Floyd victory?
Pac fan = Yes a KO is more impressive.
Floyd fan = No a Domination for 12rd is more impressive.
Correction:
Pac Fan = Yes a KO on a guy who has been dominated and has come off two bad performances, a guy that has shown his age, a guy everyone thinks is old and irrelevant, a guy that everyone feels is passed it, a guy that nobody feels deserves a shot, a guy that everyone feels is just looking for a pay day, a guy even Pac fans see as a tune up, a guy that even ,Pac's own team, feel that his shot, a guy that everyone is expecting to lose, a guy that is considered Floyd's left over is more impressive.
Floyd fan = No a domination of 12rd on a guy who Pac and his crew thought was too good, A guy that Arum Felt was a tougher fight then Pac, a guy that came off destroying the #1 WW, a guy everyone thought was going to be too strong for May, and a guy everyone thought(especially Pac fans) that Floyd was scared of, is more impressive.
Though Mosley is past his best, he's still a tough guy to fight and has never been stopped in his professional career. No matter how you look at it, it's still impressive on the part of Pacquiao if he does it.
I agree with you, it will be impressive.
It will be even more impressive than Rocky Marciano knocking out Joe Luis after Luis' last knock out loss being from Max Schmeling, 15 years prior to his fight against Marciano. Forget that Joe Louis was 40 years old and way past his best and only fighting for money. Who cares about any of that? A KO is a KO.
It will rank among one of Pacquiao's best wins if it's a KO.
Ofcourse. Mosley already had 5 losses when floyd beat him. But he has never been KO'ed or stopped. :boxing:
If Pac stops Mosley whoopie, isn't this the same boxer that Pacquiao fans picked at Floyd about fighting?

yes, a knockout after displaying superiority would be more impressive than a decision from displaying superiority. If Mosley/Pac is an evenly contested fight then all of a sudden pac knocks shane out, it's a different story, but given Mosley's size and toughness, if he were to be KO'd, I imagine it would be after being outclassed
The KO would mean sh!t all, when Mosley is a 10 - 1 underdog and coming off a dominating loss to Mayweather and another loss from a guy came from a TV show.
Back in 2009 when Mosley was the #1 welterweight after decapitating Margarito, I'd be impressed.
George Foreman was obviously past his best during his 2nd run at Heavyweight. Though he'd been beaten, KO'ing him was still an achievement not since Ali had anyone achieved in close to 25 years. Mosley being KO'd is still an achievement for any current Welterweight.

just say for arguments sake and prob unlikely, a hatton style KO....
2nd or less i will more impressed. before 4th rd, i will him SOME prop. beyond 4th rd...no.
I would say it's pretty impressive either way, but a KO of Mosley early in the fight from Manny to me would be...

Pacquiao can win by TKO in the 1st round or 12th round. It won't erase the fact that Roach didn't want Mosley in 2009-early 2010, but wants him now that he has a loss and draw. Team Coward gets no credit for any kind of win over the current Mosley.
