It seems this forum is run by FLOMOS who don't allow ANY slightest anti-Floyd sentiment. SAD, real sad. But I think he is either too greedy or too scared to fight Manny or Victor, why else would he sign up to fight them and then withdraw?!? It just doesn't look like someone who really wants to make this fights happen.
He is petrified of losing, not of any man. His mindset reminds of Naseem hamed, losing would ruin him. I genuinely believe the only time he has entered a fight and came in to the fight thinking he could lose was de la hoya. But Oscar was a little past it at that stage, and for floyd he needed that fight to become a true cross over star and a huge pay day of course so the risk was worth the reward. Against manny it is not like that, who is a relentless fighter at his peak, floyd has too much to lose in terms of legacy.
The problem with the whole crusade with the ped issue is that the mayweathers, have given manny a massive edge if he is actually not on any peds. They are basically admitting what he has doing in the ring is not believable and in a round about way admitting they consider him too much of a threat. If manny needed any encouragement that is it right there as far as a mental edge. But it's all hypothetical, this fight will never happen imo, it has all just gone too far now, there is too many obstacles
i think he's scared because of his attempts to only attack pacquiao and not fight..... also even making a stronger case against mayweather ducking is his new campaign with " take the test " t-shirts and stuff, what a joke, and it's all aimed at pacquiao........ again, i would continue to sue if i was pacquiao, mainly because he is using a pacman design on his shirt insinuating pacquiao is dirty.......
cheap attempts and a sad case of penis envy from payweather, because thats what his name is going to be after all his lawsuits and fines, and irs bills, and liens, and child support......
the rate that payweather is going, he's going to have to box for the rest of his life because he's holding money like a sieve holding water.............
I've never thought he was literally scared to fight Pacquiao more than scared of losing his "0", which in reality is what he's based his whole career on. How do you gather yourself at 34-35 and redeem yourself and or have people take you seriously about being the best when the reason why you tell people you're the best is because nobody's beaten you?
If Johnson was younger I would give him a decent shot but even if he is still alright he is not the same guy he was. He can make it interesting I just don't think he has enough to win against a determined opponent like Froch.
fmj is not even active atm. i'm sure if he comes back he will fight some top guys. not sure about pac. they will have to do something about that defamation suit first.
Johnson is a seasoned vet, he'll handle some of Carl's dirty tactics.
I'm not sure Johnson can handle someone like Froch at the weight.
I think down the line, Johnson is inevitabley going to fade and Froch would do the opposite.
I think Johnson is gonna lure Froch into a shootout. But luckily Froch has always excelled in a brawl. He should win on youth alone. But Johnson is gonna be right on his heels.
Et tu, Bush?:nonono: This IS in fact a thread about Scaredweather Floyd.
