After defending succesfully 2 times, does PAC deserve the welterweight championship?

I think Pac vs Ortiz would be a pretty good scrap, but Ortiz will get bodied as the fight goes on. We can't forget, though Ortiz looked great in the Berto fight, he got his share of hits along with being dropped himself. I can't imagine Ortiz having a chance once Manny's gets his groove going in the fight. Wish Pac would step up to Arum and get this made, but o well...

Now Marquez was proven ineffective at welterweight against Floyd,but now he's fighting Pacman there. Pacquiao's effectiveness is in the accumulation of punches more than one shot power, which was only seen against Hatton after his usual self imposed weight drains from ballooning up after fights so constantly. Pacquiao hasn't fought a live dog in ages.

You can't just get the Lineage for title defences. Look at Hopkins Middleweight reign for example. He would need to beat Ortiz to get that. Now GB and TR are cool he may aswell just do it.

Floyd is the champ. Even if you argue that he abdicated the throne after beating Baldomir, then Margarito was the next legitimate champion and Floyd shut Mosley out. To be the Lineal champ you have to beat the #2 guy at the weight. I know the WBC just handed Pac a JMW title but the Ring isn't gonna just hand him the Lineal title.
