I felt bad for the guy. He couldn’t make a good argument and he put out so much nervous energy. His mic was literally shaking and he looked like he was going to pass out.
I say give him a little more time.
Mares sounded bad his first telecast too after he replaced Pauletta.
While I don't think either fighter is afraid of the other fighter, I think the fighters are pieces on a chess board where Haymon is playing against Arum.
I liked Froch, but Canelo would be a nightmare for him.
It would take a fighter like a Calzaghe to beat Canelo.
A guy who has the ability to change styles during the fight... some call it the ability to "make adjustments"
Fuking casual...way to contribute to destroying this forum with your ignorant, uneducated, ill informed comments.
Robert was a world champion himself, what are Reynosos credentials?
Reynoso has Canelo and thats it. No other fighters LOL. Clearly the trainer with the most world champions is the superior trainer...
Roberts trained the following WORLD CHAMPIONS....Nonito Donaire, Kelly Pavlik,Marcos Mariana, Brandon Rios, Mikey Garcia, Joan Guzman, Abner Mares, Chris Algieri, Evgeny Gradovich, Steven Luevano, Antonio Margarito, Hernan Marquez, Victor Ortiz, Mia St.John, Fernando Vargas, Brian Viloria & Joshua Franco... each one of those fighters were WORLD CHAMPIONS...
I wonder why each of those world champions chose to train with Robert instead of Eddie...
You never boxed, you don’t know **** about boxing. Stop posting on boxing forums it’s cringe.
Can any of those fighters you listed hold a candle to Saul?
Boy cap... Errol Spence know damn well Canelo ain't no possibility.
He's just mentioning his name for leverage in Bud negotiations.
Two of his biggest wins are against two blown up Latinos... now I'm to believe he's going to fight one naturally bigger than him?
If you don't walk to Canelp, its gonna be long night... do not allow this man to pursue you.
But even when you do walk to Canelo, be careful of his springboard off the ropes.
Eddie only trains 2 or 3 at a time right
Where Nacho go
Garcia has never had nor will he ever have a fighter in his stable on Canelo's level.
Please don't say El Chino.
Eubank rarely had to display all of his tricks in his prime. Sure, some may say Benn brought it out of him. Eubank explains how he was pissing blood and shitting liquid mixed with coagulated blood chunks for two weeks following their contest.
Thank you... either Spence go pick up a belt at 168, fight Pac or Bud, rematch a past opponent, or fight and up and corner...... I think he'll go the mandatory route next fight and say, "This is something I had to do, but I wanted Canelo."
Huh? He started as a professional at 140.
He's 168 now.
He's not Guerillmo Jones who started at 154 and went to cruiser. Jones was 6'4 not 5'8.
Canelo is too small for the higher divisions.
You're of that group that also raves about the division Pacquiao started his career in, not considering that both Pacquiao and Canelo were boys when they begin their career.
I'm sure at 16 years old, many fighters were two divisions smaller than they would have been at 18 or 19 years old.
Smith has never been one to use a lot of angles though.
Floyd has said before he thinks Saunders gives Canelo problems and I agree. He actually uses angles very well, southpaw etc.
Although Canelo will be a big favourite in most people’s eyes. He hasn’t fought anyone quite like that since Lara, which some felt he lost. You can say he improved since then, but there’s no evidence to suggest he can be comfortable with that style now, he hadn’t fought a slick southpaw since, so how would we know?
That’s why I want to see that fight. If the very best BJS shows up, then Canelo has to show sides to his game he hasn’t needed to show, because Saunders isn’t just going to be infront of him all night.
We know what Canelo can do against guys like he has been fighting. What can he do with the first slick southpaw since Lara?
Styles make fights so I wanna see how Canelo approaches that.
Give me BJS vs. Chrith Jr. II & the winner gets Saul.
