Asked about fighting Ward at 175, starts talking about not to exaggerate and not to talk about moving up to another weight
Fighting broken down Kov at 175 is ok, but bring up Ward at the same weight he starting making no sense.
He now Kov is a shell of what he was.
Ginger is the fave here.
A few body shots and Kov is done.
All I know is that the straight right (the cross) is perhaps Kovalev’s most dangerous weapon. It shoots out fast and forceful (when used with his power jab as either a 1-2 or 1-2-1) it becomes a very effective combination since both punches have bad intentions behind them.
When he fought Cinnamon it was non existent kinda like the chupacabra, Big foot and Loch Ness monster.
Posters exposing themselves with double standards.. lol. They cry about Canelo and their beloved fighters can’t get criticized, exempt...
Are you slow? Canelo fought 175, so he should be open to fighting anyone at 175. Bud has never fought above 147. Jesus some of you dumb as hell, no wonder this place is dead compared to 5-10 years ago with illogical posters like you.
Easiest money Ward would ever make.
I wouldn't be a 100% on that, man. Dre will be 36 at least if that fight ever came round and would have been out of the ring maybe 3 years or more. And even though I think he's a far more skilled fighter than Canelo one of his best attributes is the ability to smother and neutralise and force a fight to his own pace. Against a defensively minded Canelo it's gonna lead to a lot of rounds which at least appear close with not much being exchanged... and you can bet your ass those rounds would be given to Canelo.
The reporter asked that should he be successful with Kovalev, would he attempt another weight class. Obviously the reporter wasn’t referring to 168 or 175.
The reporter asked another question, “would you consider ANdre Ward?”
Canelo answered the first question, he ain’t funna do Cruiserweight.
2nd., Canelo, like Floyd, didn’t entertain the question about another fighter. For example, Floyd always deflects (in a professional manner) whenever Showtime reporters like Jim Gray try to bait Floyd with questions about a return...Floyd doesn’t entertain the question
Remember before Canelo fought GGG, GGG , Tom Loeffler, Abel Sanchez , Jacobs & Rozier all said "CANELO is not a real middleweight, he's too small for these guys at middleweight , he's gonna get destroyed".
Now these hater's want Canelo to move up to cruiserweight. They want him to lose so bad HAHAHA!
Won't fight a retired guy with a bad knee but he has be thirsting Kov for months. We all know what's going on, no smoke needs to be blown. Nelo/Kov is cool but people need to be honest, Kovalev is a shadow of what he used to be. Canelo even said so (according to Oscar).
canelo never said no to ward, he said no to cruiserweight, i dont really see anyhting wrong with that...

like how Bullshltkin wanted Chavez at 168... but needed 164 for Ward?
or is that somehow different... ?
btw, Canelo said that cruiserweight was too much for him, not Andre Ward

The reporter asked if he'd be moving up to cruiserweight if he were to capture the World Title at 175.
Canelo said no , let's not exaggerate either , I'm gonna move back down to my weight class of 160 pounds.
He didn't rule Ward out, he said that jumping to another weight class above 175 was too much, to not exaggerate but that whatever represents a challenge for him (say Ward at 175) is what he wants.
