To be honest, Carlos Takam was only ever stopped by Povetkin and that's mainly because of how powerful Povetkin himself is with his punches, not because of any shortcoming from Carlos Takam himself.
.
Povetkin uses PED, that why he stopped Takam and most of his opponents.
You seriously believe Povetkin is the only one taking PED's? Are you naive?
Also, provide the evidence showing how Meldonium increases someone's punching power. I'll wait!
His cardio...it's give him an unfair advantage in cardio. And no, Povetkin isn't the only taking PED...Ortiz is cheating too.
Algieri is a nutritionist for fighters and Arreola has to be retired at this point (maybe a career as a nutritionist himself). Good move for both to move on.
This kind of banter falls short when you realise that Pulev was brutally knocked out by the same old man they're talking about.
Pulev promoter knows this...he's just mad that another fighter did what his fighter couldn't do.
Why do you assume something is true just because he said it? He's a promoter. It's his job to lie.
I'm not saying he wasn't involved, but this thread is a classic example of AJ fans believing everything Hearn says is the gospel.
Okay he's lying...I'm just waiting for Oscar and Skip to come out officially and call Hearn "a liar" because Hearn (the programming director for Boxing at DAZN) has made this statement on camera for the whole world to see.
P.S...I'm not a AJ fan at all, WILDER is my favorite heavyweight but that's what happens when you assume, right.
i got crawford on this one... spence had trouble with kell brooks until he got tired....Crawford was just as fresh in round 12 as he was in round 1 against Benividiz....similar to cotto vs margarito but the only thing is crawford wont fade late in the fight....crawford is just a better all around fighter to me.
Brook didn't get tired on his own, he got tired because of Spence's body shots...that's why Spence won. It's called Boxing.
When you are Boxing at the elite level, it shouldn't be a one-side fight. Brook would have given Crawford the same problems he gave Spence.
Nah man he only like 29...he might not be world level but he can still fight the Bertos and Alexander's of the division and make some cash. No real reason for him to retire
Oh so you are basing your retirement off of age and not skillset....if that the case, everyone in their 30's should be gone since they are too old.
Wilder, Crawford, D. Garcia, Shawn Porter, Fury, Jacobs, should be gone since they are too old.
Wilder and Ramirez need to go to make room for better fighters like Canelo.
Saul Canelo Alvarez is not undefeated. This list is for undefeated boxers.
Floyd Mayweather made sure that Alvarez would never make an undefeated list.
Well I had Spence so low because he had a subpar 2018...Ocampo and Peterson ain't nothing to write home about man.
I feel you on Peterson but Ocampo was a mandatory.
Weird, when I stood on my Brooklyn stoop and asked walkers but if they knew who Wilder was, 80% of them ignored me and kept walking, and the other 20% told me to **** off.
Interesting section of NY you live in.
What section of Brooklyn do you live in? Must be the introverted part.
Even more mad than "TO THIS DAY!" ?
Yep, even more mad than that. Wilder said that now he has to try to deal with Hearn, who is a snake and doesn't want to unify.
Wilder said that it now up to the fan to pressure Joshua to unify but all of this could have been avoided if Ruiz didn't Buster Douglas this fight.
We don't want a trilogy, there's no good reason for it.
Top three heavyweights should fight each other while they are still good, Fury, Wilder, Joshua. I
Royces, Burritos, Lamborghinis and Tamales are more important to Ruiz than weight discipline and honing his craft. Thanks but no thanks, his days of getting 7 figure paydays are OVER!!
From a business standpoint, it makes sense for AJ to fight the Cobra for the IBF title because if the WBO strips AJ, the belt still remains inhouse for Matchroom.
Yeah I saw a picture of his mug shot he took for his DUI arrest...he look awful.
You can't cheat faith...he survive the accident but it may be over. One of the boxing scribes i think either Coppinger or Benson ( I can't remember, it was a minute ago) stated that they heard from inside source that the Truth is much worse for wears and may not be back in 2020.
AJ just messed up badly in the first fight.
The Bronze Bomber had just KO Trouble and AJ wanted to look good in his U.S debut. If you watch the first fight, AJ won the first 2 rounds basically boxing from the outside BUT where AJ messed up that cast him the fight was once he dropped the Destroyer, he recklessly went in for the kill and got clipped with a temple shot.
The fight was pretty much over after that because AJ never recovered.
In the rematch, AJ proved that he was the more superior fighter while the Destroyer came in to the ring as a fat cow.
