I think the reason why Bradley is getting hated on is because of how he acted after the fight, he kept talking sh*t about Pac and basically trolling everyone even the neutral fans were turned off because of how he conducted himself. He should have just left it alone instead of talking smack every chance he got, now even Marquez's fans are hating on this dude because he comes off as delusional with the stuff that are coming off his mouth.
He also said in round 10 or 11 that Ruslan can't hurt Bradley anymore and that Bradley is the one hurting Ruslan when clearly that is not the case at all. He kept saying ruslan is hurt bad as well but ruslan looked far from being hurt. He sucked last night, but Kellerman did a good job I thought. He put Roy in his place quite a few times.
I just watched the HBO broadcast and yeah Roy was pretty bad. He kept insisting that both fighters were hurt when only Bradley was staggering like a drunk and Provodnikov was on top of him. The thing that shocked me is when he said "Bradley is in a better position right now because this is the type of fight that he's used to" I was like WTF? Bradly had never been in a non stop brawl like that. Even Kellerman was on point when he said "Bradley has no answer for Provodnikov's overhand right" which was true but Roy insisted "yes he does, he has his own right hand" but that shot wasn't effective.
Very disappointed in Roy.
I LOL'ed when he said "yes he does" because literally 2 seconds later that same punch nailed Bradley and was hurt pretty bad. That shut him up, i think he was in the middle of explaining to Kellerman what Bradley can do to avoid the punch but I guess he stopped himself when tht punch landed lol
If you didn't seem as smart as you do. I would have thought that you're an alt of LarryX. But, you're the 2nd coming of LarryX with as many threads you create.
To answer your question the main reason why they would choose Cotto over Bradley. Is because Cotto brings more fans so more money. More PPV sells with the less risk or at the very risk the same amount of risk. Than what Bradley would bring.
It does suck though. I rather have Pac-Bradley than Pac-Cotto II. The latter is just a waste a time. Been there, done that. Lets get some new blood in the mix.
That is why I liked Floyd-Ortiz so much. Not because Ortiz was a threat(I never saw him as a threat) I really never thought much of Ortiz. And, still don't. I don't think he's that good, I think he is an average at best type fighter. But, it was new blood in there. Not the same past prime recycled fighter.
What ever happened to this guy? I've always enjoyed reading his post. Is he using a different handler now?
I remember reading about why Donaire was never on a Pac undercard. I think it has to do with Manny Pacquiao Promotions or something. I can't remember the exact details.
And i think the reason why TR is considering to put Donaire on Pac's undercard for his next fight is becaus of the simple fact that they are looking to stage the fight in the Philippines... Viloria will also be included I believe.
Very, very similar punch.. I can't really see any significant difference tbh. Even how Marquez set it up and how pac reacted. The only difference is the color of their trunks really.
...and of course, the power in those punches.

Here ya go.... A side by side comparison!!
For me the punch from the 1st fight seems heavier and more loaded because it landed right on pacquiao's face. Where as the punch in the 4th fight, it looked like a 'glancing' blow on the side of pac's forehead..

pretty much the exact same punch..except one marquez is in their prime and much younger and the other one isn't...

Bro, i understand where you are coming from BUT the broken nose came from an accidental head butt. Too unfair of an advantage from an accidental injury.
Thanks for replying. I was just genuinely curious, that is why I asked. I mean technically speaking it should have been really a TKO or maybe not, I dunno.. But I see your point as well.
Headbutts, low blows, those kinda sh*t happens in boxing all the time. But it shouldn't be used as an excuse to b*tch out of a fight.
And the thing is, he was asked if he wanted to continue and the corner said to stop it. If you're an official you stop a fight based on their capabilities to continue fighting, you don't ask them if they want to continue fighting and then go to the scorecard. The guy quit, simple as that...
How about I score a TKO victory by punching my opponent in the nuts or biting his ear off?
He was asked if he wanted to continue fighting, and his corner said no. He quit. Point deduction would have suffice but because of the ringside official's bad call, he got away with quitting.
well the doctor did ask him if he could continue to fight. mikey's only response was "my nose is broke" and his corner saying "let's stop it, let's stop it." sucks the fight was heating up.
This is kinda confusing, if Garcia's corner asked the fight to be stopped then wouldn't that be a TKO victory for Salido??? This is messed up, the ringside doctor seem unexperienced. I mean, as a doctor, if you have to stop a fight because of bad cuts or whatever, then you stop the fight and go to the scorecard. But if they ask a fighter if they want to continue and the fighter said no then that's a different story.
Rosado has faster hand speed, and I think overall his faster than GGG, so whenever Rosado opens up and let his hands go he is able to land solid punches. GGG picks him apart whenever he is just waiting for an opening.
Technically speaking no it shouldn't.
It was an accidental headbutt, if the fighter is deemed unfit or unwilling to fight then it goes to the scorecards after 5.
True, the ringside physician should be able to assess if a fighter is fit to continue fighting and stop the fight if he needs to, however for this fight it seemed like the decision to stop the fight came from Garcia's corner.
No use telling him to clinch if he hasn't taught him to. There's an art to clinching believe it or not.
So you believe Khan doesn't know how to clinch at all?
emulating pacquiao's style is what got him knocked out in his last fight and beat to **** two fights before. khan needs to box, use his height, reach, speed, athleticism properly to his advantage, and learn real defense to hide is chin. manny or roach can't teach him these things.
It was so weird watching Khan bouncing around the ring the way Manny would, with his long legs and arms.. I was like :pat:
The problem is not his legs though. He looked like he was in good condition going into the fight. It's his lack of defensive skills, and of course there's his chin.
