Tyson wasn't 200 at 13, that's an over exageration. There was a pic in a video clip at Tyson at 13 and he was more like 150-160 looking like he was 5'9''. Then at 16-17 he looked about 190-200 and as a pro became 210-220.
Yeah, but that's why is appeals to the non-boxing fan. It's a Rocky movie. If they showed it from a normal boxing angle and no effects, not many people would be watching it.
Definately put it on network tv channels so it becomes more mainstream.
Make an age limit for a title. 25 years is good in my opinion.
That's all I can think of.
I don't think the boxers go as balls to the walls as they do when there are other people around while there training. I would imagine they work harder when it's just them and the trainer.
I read in a Mike Tyson biography that Cus D'Amato wanted to make Tyson into a perfect machine and no one would know about so he never entered him into the Golden Gloves or any other big tournament.
IMO, boxing isn't as mainstream as before because you have to pay to watch it and it's not on free tv anymore. Also, from experience, I realized that many people have many bad thoughts on boxing as if you must be a thug or something to get inside a ring and fight.
