After reading this article I encourage everyone who really supports Pac man and are true fans, to show their support in the Vegas Sports books or Online bet sites and put your money on the Fighter of the Decade. If you consider Demarkus Corley as a tune up at 140 then I have to disagree. Corley was a legitmate fighter at 140. Also Emmanuel Stewart stated and I quote he would actually favor Sharmbai Mitchell to beat Floyd because of his speed, size and he's a southpaw. But wait for it...... Lets put it this way neither Mayweather or Pacquiao had 1,000,000 PPV buys before they fought Del la Hoya. Their wins over Del La hoya is what brought them interest by main stream fans. Del La Hoya hands down was a bigger draw.

That was a bad call by the ref, his corner threw in the towel and I understand why. The ref didn't want to see him lose in that way and wanted the fans to get a good fight, but it was dangerous for Foreman to continue to fight in that situation and yeah if Cotto somehow got knocked out it would have been a major dispute by his team. That was definitely the wrong call to make by the ref.

Ok if that's in the WBA rule book then I stand corrected but I do believe all sanctioning organizations give the ref or corner the right to stop the fight. I think the issue maybe the fact that Foreman's corner threw a towel in the ring instead of waving it but either way they wanted to stop the fight.

If blood testing was cut off 18 to 19 days before the Mayweather vs Mosleyfight then so what? USADA controls the schedule of the test not the fighters. The point of random test is to not know when you will be tested, which is what Pacquiao was trying to avoid. So if it is cut off after the first day it doesn't matter, as long as the fighters don't know when the next time they may be tested. That's what keeps them from trying to cheat the system. USADA typically only undergoes 3 to 5 blood test , but they are random. A cutoff day only gives a fighter the opportunity to cheat.

I have to disagree with these rankings. Timothy Bradley and Devon Alexander are by far the 2 best @ 140. I don't care how Devon looked against Kotelnik, there is a such thing as having a bad night. I guess people forget how bad he beat Juan Urango. Maidana is highly overrated and is going to get boxed into a coma by Amir Khan. Victor Ortiz was beating the **** out of his ass, we just found out that Ortiz didn't have the heart of a warrior that night after he took a good shot he quit fighting. My point is this, Floyd fought Marquez who was the #2 lb for lb fighter at the time as a tune up bout at a catch weight of 144. It was not a matter of a size dis advantage, it was a major dis advantage in skill between them on fight night. I'm not criticizing Roach for wanting that fight at 147, I just expect the same criticism to fall on them for doing what Mayweather did being that he took criticism for it. But I don't think Pacquiao will beat Marquez in the same fashion as Mayweather at 147. Mayweather just made Marquez look like ****, it wasn't the weight.
