WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan sees no reason to fear a challenge from interim-champ Marco Maidana. The hard-puncher from Argentina won a tough twelve round decision over seasoned veteran DeMarcus Corley on Saturday night. Maidana is now being called the frontrunner to face Khan on December 11 in England.
Khan says Maidana is a slow fighter who doesn't bring anything to the table except power. The British champion expects a to put on a boxing clinic against Maidana.
"Maidana is made for me. He has very slow feet and very slow hands. The only thing he has on his side is power," Khan said.
