These guys seem to keep inventing ways to say the same thing, over and over: " we think Floyd is scared to fight Manny."
The horse is long dead. You can stop beating it now.
Yet another thread by someone that knows virtually nothing about the business of boxing, good God people please educate yourselves and give it a rest. People that use terms like "fear" and "scared" don't know anything about the sport but are instead looking for a sugar high by accusing boxers that risk their lives for a living of fear. I guess its an easy answer for folks that lack the intellectual fortitude and curiosity to do just a tiny bit of research.
Same arguments, same conclusions tell me this site is a closed system to some because they are utterly unwilling to see the world around them.
I actually like this site. Visit it several times daily. I read, peruse some of the commentary, but rarely post...mostly because of the sometimes overbearing idiocy I encounter here, more often than not. I usually shake my head at some of the comments, and keep it moving.
You are proof that there is, in FACT, intelligent life here.
When Arum wanted Mayweather under Top Rank to fight Margarito for a career high pay day, he decided to fight Baldomir instead for less money. Mayweather went out of his way to get out of Top Rank by paying Arum to buy out his contract.
When Margarito was a threat and a potential foe, Mayweather "retired". After Margarito lost to Mosley and had the scandal, Mayweather announced his comeback just 4 months later.
And there's this video of Mayweather / Margarito
Is this a confirmed duck?
Ok...so let's put this ADHD - sponsored nonsense in its proper perspective:
The video profiles Floyd allegedly being afraid of Margarito. ..but in the end, begs Floyd to fight Pacquiao.
What exactly are we calling him out on? What's the point of posting this?
I should be appalled that some of the ppl posting on here don't recognize satire, or parody, when they see it...but after considering the source of some of these responses, sadly, I'm not appalled or the least bit surprised at all.
wow.. 12 posts and im the only one who gave a real response?
and people wonder why boxing is struggling so bad, its because people dont understand the sport any more. cant even recognize good boxing when they see it.
You actually expected differently from some of this group of pansies...?
totally agree with you. I think there can be a case made for Guerrero to have edged rounds 1, 2, 7, 9 and 12. And round 6 was also close.
The real story of the fight though is that Mayweather won the fight, but Guerrero looked good too, not in all rounds, but in (quite) a few rounds.
Guerrero gave Mayweather a better fight than 90 % of his earlier opponents.
Soooooooooo...you're arguing the plausibility of a draw...? You can't be serious.
And of course, all the retarded population of boxingscene is believing this story with the only proof being a picture of a couple of ugly b1tches with a bag.
Whats up with the nearly dead guy with a broken finger ? Has Floyd been arrested yet ?
Exactly. These dudes here are broads. Buncha gossipy clucking ducks.
Can't help but think that seems to be the general consensus atm. . . ? this forum is crazy.
I agree with the statement...but the phrase "general consensus" is redundant. A consensus is a general thing. Sorry for playing grammar cop though.
everybody says it but its just funny when someone uses it over and over again because it shows their lack of vocabulary. kinda like trump.
I absolutely hate it. Lol
Seems to me like there's a clear pecking order among Irish Athletes.
1. McGregor
2. Everyone not named McGregor
This comment is GOAT level.
It's also sad that it's true.
He has been stopped and he has been dropped, maybe Arias can be the first to shut him down and open up shop. Dmx would be proud of him
ATG comment, right here. 🤣🤣🤣
... You kinda sound like an idiot. 🤷🏽*♂️
I think Fury's main weakness is that he gets bored far too easily, hence why he clowns around so much in the ring - Cunningham nearly made him pay for that. Also whenever he has more than about 4 months between fights he balloons massively in weight, which shows a lack of discipline - possibly due to boredom.
If Tyson Fury fought at least 3 times a year, every year, he'd be the boxer he keeps telling everybody he is; but inactivity and his own short attention span are his biggest enemies.
Also he has a history of being a bit bigoted to anyone who's not a white, straight, male, christian of gypsy heritage; which doesn't exactly endear him towards the general public.
to clear it up, bellew is imerald wbc champion? that might be wrong, wrong spelling defo but i aint going google for greasy men. anyway he has a shot at the wbc cruiser champion at any time he wants.
he dont hold the title, i think its vacant.
Champion Emeritus is what you're looking for. He has the rights to defend it, should he fight at cruiser again.
No where near ready, he's trying to rush stardom and he's not even an elite fighter yet, but hype and his trash talking is what he's using to try to convince people that he is. He hasn't fought the best of any weight class and has pick and choosen fighters and he's only 24. One thing you can say about Mayweather, is that when he was young he didn't dodge anyone and cleaned his divisions out. Broner is a joke IMO until he fights someone like Mathysse, Thurman, Crawford ect. This PPV is hilarious and people would be stupid to buy it.
I guess I'll be stupid, then. If this is the main event on a stacked tripleheader, I'll buy it.
Wait.. Did Floyd just build Bob's arena?
If I had green k, and knew how to give it...you'd have some for this post. Gold. ***128514;***128514;***128514;***128514;***128514;
Can't even keep his story straight...first he goes on this rambling rampage of words and f-bombs (illiterate) saying he'll go toe to toe all night with Maidana, then the next thing he says is , you can't hit what you can't see... which implies he's gonna be on his bike like Mayweather, pop shotting from afar, running out of harms way of Maidana.... the third things is, BRONER hasn't even signed to fight Maidana yet!!! Like Garcia, do you not want the fight you rube? Why are you hesitant? You couldn't knock down Paulie Mags, you have no power at 147, you looked horrible at 147, even Shane Mosley said Mags hits like a Lightweight, and Broner hits like a 140lber... no power at 147. Stop talking about who you're KO-ing... You're talking Junior Welterweight, Lightweight.... your problem is you don't really want to be at 147, unless they look like Paulie Mags.... Maidana is not that guy. You know that, hence your reluctancy, and you willl get stopped by Maidana, if you have the ballz to sign the fight.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm fairly certain that the "can't hit what you can't see" statement was attributed to the elusiveness of Paulie in their fight...2ndly, the term is "POTSHOT", not "POP SHOT"...3rdly, why do ppl insist on underrating Paulie's chin? And what would Paulie's lack of power have to do with whether or not Broner can punch? Lastly...When were contracts presented to either Maidana OR Broner? How exactly does he seem hesitant, or as if he's running from this fight? You aren't very intelligent, are you...?
bu bu bu he a coward doe(the man fights for a living....guy hasnt lost since his peach fuzz started coming in and has been at the top as an amatuer and pro)
bu bu bu he will fake an injury and pull out in november ( proceeds to fight, win and has rematch scheduled for next week)
bu bu bu he a diva( boxing =prizefighting....you fight for money, a prize....duh..)
bu bu bu he be clinching and headbutting doe( no clash of heads in first fight, and kov goes on to initiate most of the tying up, head locks, pushing, etc.)
they been taking L's since the first fight was signed and will continue to....they are just upset the man didnt lose, more so that Kov got "robbed"....close fights arent robberies.
...there needs to be a "like" option, for awesome comments like this.
"at the end of the day" every moron who uses this catchphrase believes he is floyd :lol1:
Steve Young used to say it all the time on Sunday Morning NFL Countdown. Matter of fact, ALOTTA ESPN analysts used to overuse that phrase. I guess they all think they're Floyd, too.
Apparently, you don't get out much.
I distinctly remember big George commentating for Mayweather vs Ndou: "Courage! Courage! Courage!" There was that one specific moment during the fight, where Ndou had Floyd backed to the ropes, swinging away...and hitting NOTHING. Lampley and George were going crazy for no reason. Of course, Ndou ends up getting knocked out, and Floyd actually looked amazing doing so, against a supposed big punching South African ko artist. The point of my litte anecdote is, George has been consistently and highly inaccurate as an analyst, and PARTICULARLY as it relates to Floyd. I don't take his prognostications seriously at all. I'll call Cleo the Psychic before him.
Yeah I still don't understand why people would get tattoos all visible like that: straight up low lifes
Tells you that they never want to work for corporate America
What exactly screams "corporate" to you, about being a prizefighter?
Are all the ppl in this forum as stupid as this?
Those who have seen the Mollo fights will be licking their fingers on this.
Jennings should be able to outbox this guy tho, Szpilka has a 'questionable' defense :p
Licking their FINGERS, or their CHOPS...?
