Hip hop--rap noise IS NOT MUSIC.
ITS IDIOTS TALKING INTO A MIC OVER A SAMPLED DRUM BEAT.
NOT MUSICIANS. SICKENING GARBAGE !!!
Fury is a pathetic boxer---awkward with little skill-- if its true he likes that worthless crap noise---i dis like him even MORE.
You're a better judge of boxers than you are of musicians. I'll give you that one.
Is that all it takes to get you to support a fighter???
It must be nice to be so easily impressed by irrelevant things like what type music a fighter listens to. Musical tastes should not be included in your assessment of a fighter's quality....unless you happen to be a 12-year-old girl.
But since you brought it up, could you seriously imagine that any of the hiphop legends you named would have supported or rooted for Tyson Fury???
Do you really think Biggie would have been a fan of Fury???
If you had to pick a 90's hiphop group who would have supported Fury then the obviously choice should have been House of Pain. I'm sure that even Everlast, Danny Boy, and DJ Lethal would have been able to see through Fury, but they would probably have dropped his name in a rhyme just because he's an Irishman.
But on the other hand, would it change your view of Muhammad Ali if you found out that he was a Barry Manilow fan?
Would it diminish Mike Tyson's legacy if he had been a Barbra Streisand fan?
Or would you call Donny Lalonde an all-time-great if he had been best friends with Big Daddy Kane?
This whole thread is silly, and I'm a bit ashamed that I was compelled to reply to it.
Matt Legg was 7-2, and had already been stopped twice before he fought Joshua. One of the guys who stopped him was 6-28. Joshua broke his eye socket, but that's what happens when you put a top-caliber fighter against a complete tomato can. Potentially, Klitschko could also have seriously injured a fighter like Matt Legg. In fact, a fighter like Chris Arreola could have ended his career. This article is pure sensationalism.
They both won the hearts of boxing fans.
Left it at that.
Joshua didn't win my heart. He was hurt & dropped by a fighter who basically only throws a 1-2, and he only managed to survive and win by having more stamina than a 41-year-old man. It was the best win of his young career, but people are starting to go overboard with their praise. Joshua was the favorite for a reason. Everybody picked him to win, and it wasn't because they like his smile. Let's be serious.
He cant stop thinking about Conor.
Neither can half the dudes who used to be self-respecting boxing fans on here. Conor is so flamingly-metrosexual and image-conscious, it seems weird the way 'men' adore and fawn over him, especially 'internet tough guys'. It sort of reminds me of Delahoya & his female fan base circa 1998. The only thing missing is dudes throwing their boxers at him.
Don't worry, Amir...
"If a husband calls his wife to his bed and she refuses and causes him to sleep in anger, the angels will curse her till morning."
Partying around with another lady out of wedlock, wait until the great galah here's about this! This guys life has turned to s***
No, it's OK, her booty is halal.
If Big Baby can take AJ's power (which I think he might) this could be a dangerous fight, especially if it gets past 6
its a good fight,
even if Miller has arguably not really earned it.
The lack of respect Joshua fans have for Miller is amusing.
The only prediction I will make is that a lot of them are going
to be surprised and probably even disappointed afterwards.
I've got a feeling it's the Fury/Wilder/anti-Hearn brigade who are running Miller down and trying to discredit him.
This will be a very tough fight for AJ. Miller can roll with punches, apply pressure and test AJs stamina. There's no evidence that he won't be able to take AJs power so I don't see why everyone expects him to get splattered.
Testify!!!
The lack of repect that Wilder fans have for Miller, now that he's signed to fight AJ, is also very amusing.
And very predictable too.
Nobody even mentioned Wilder.
I'm with you here. It's a stupid and dangerous fight for Joshua. He is technically superior, but my inkling is that he has to jab Miller all night long, or else Big Baby might overwhelm him by sheer size and weight. Joshua tires easily, I believe.
By looking at them, you would think Miller would tire
faster than Joshua, but it may be the opposite, and it
will depend on who can impose their will on the other.
Joshua does not want to be going backwards all night
if he cannot stop Miller from applying methodical pressure.
Miller can be hit, but he has not shown any trouble taking
decent punches from his so-far average opponents.
What if Joshua cant get his respect early...
Joshua is chiseled, dangerous, and has been impressive at
times, but I think his fans are probably overestimating him.
This is an interesting fight.
"..as he tries to become boxing’s first four-belt world heavyweight champion.."
Wladimir Klitschko was in possession of four-belts from 2011-2015, including the IBO title that Joshua now holds, which is barely considered to be a legitimate world title.
Chris Eubank Jr is quickly proving himself to be among the most delusional and immature fighter in the sport. Hearing him predict & warn that he is going to critically injure his opponent is becoming increasingly distasteful. I guess it's true when people say 'the apple doesn't fall far from the tree'.
Canelo probably WILL knock-out Golovkin this time, but who knows.
That's really the only question, weather he'll stop Golovkin or not, because I'm sure that Canelo will put forth an even-more unequivocally convincing performance. You'll see a Canelo who is even stronger and more confident than last time. Golovkin will fight valiantly, but he'll only be a shell of what he once was. Golovkin couldn't beat Canelo the first time, and he'll never beat 'father time'. It's over for him.
Therr wasn't too many Times Tony was coming forward dictating the pace as he says he was.
"Dictating the pace" does not necessarily have to mean
"coming forward". It depends on the type of fight you are
trying to dictate or impose upon your opponent.
Mayweather, for example. dictated the pace of his fights
without having to be aggressive or "come forward".
jeff....oh jeffrey....
you do realise that the inside of your hand, the PALM, is not completely wrapped...right?
of course you didnt know that, because you are of low intelligence and take the words of someone else with extremely low intelligence as gospel.
this whole 'glovegate' thing is hilarious, it has made a lot of really dumb people reveal themselves. we can now compile a list of people who we never have to listen to ever again.
Are you blind, stupid, or just in denial?

Fury was actually caught trying to do the same thing when
he fought Christian Hammer. The ref caught him and forced him
to be re-gloved in-ring before the fight could begin.
Look at the opening in the palm of Fury's glove.
If you can see anything it should be white wraps,
not a flesh-colored finger or knuckle.

Obviously...since you couldn't put together that Soldier of Q is for Quebec!
I did see that. I noticed it on his Facebook page, and I
questioned him about it without response, before posting
my comment in here.
I find it to be a poor choice of nickname, despite his
stated reasoning. He was originally called 'Soldier of God',
so did he renounce his faith upon arriving in Quebec?
I know Montreal has a lot of strip clubs, but you'd think
somebody named 'Soldier of God' would be able to control
themselves a bit better! Of course, I'm kidding, but I still
find 'Soldier of Q' to be a poor nickname. He could have
just called himself 'Soldier of Quebec' to eliminate any
misunderstanding and elicit even more Quebecois fan
appeal. I'm not sure why you're seemingly irritated by
my opinion, but I couldn't care less.
Perhaps it could be from your "American Moron" dig in the previous post, yet you're the one from Canada stating that you already knew the answer but still post the question while trying to connect dots from a foreign fighter to Trump & other American conspiracy theorists? {shrug}
Why get so defensive?
You're making wilder accusations than anything I said
in my posts. Now you sound just like one of them!
In any event, weather I support Sadriddin Akhmedov
is irrelevant because he probably would not be signed
to EOTM if he was really a worthwhile prospect.
A promoter with more money & clout would have
snapped him up first.
I guarantee that you're the only person to ever interpret his nickname in this way lol. Your paranoia about conspiracy theorists is beautifully ironic
He has had 3 fights or so. Nobody knows who he is.
Time will tell how others perceive his nickname if he is
able to raise his profile.
Your guarantee is meaningless since others have asked
him the same question on Facebook.
I only poised the question wondering if there may be a
connection. Your overreaction to my question is strange
and overly defensive.
I just want to know what his nickname is all about.
I've seen him called "Solder of God", but more recently
I've seen him being called "Soldier of Q".
I can't support him if it is in reference to #QAnon,
and I'm not sure who told him that it would be an acceptable nickname.
Eye of the Tiger Management should really use better judgement.
WTF? Like he's interested in JFK conspiracies? He fights out of Quebec, Canada!
https://pp.userapi.com/c846219/v846219675/7b5bc/LPhpYhBYlRE.jpg
I know where he's from and where he fights out of,
but being a moron is not exclusively an American trait.
Not defensive at all since it's not my fight, just find the whole assumption you made ludicrous.
What accusations have I made?
You posted a connection of his nickname with some Trump propaganda while saying that you couldn't support him!
Second stated that his management should make better choices, which btw they've already done by changing it to "Soldier K" since some people are just looking for a reason to make these deranged connections.
Third you stated that morons are not exclusive to America.
Lastly you said you already knew the answer while posting same question on his FB page. Seems you're just looking for a reason post BS & perhaps should go to Info Wars for more of this.
Bring on The New World Order! Alex Jones is always good for a few laughs!
https://i.giphy.com/media/svb8tKSIpGfHq/giphy.webp
Why do you believe that being a moron is a trait exclusive
to Americans? I'm going to assume you are not American,
so you are proving my point, that morons can come from
anywhere. Even Kazakhstan.
If his management had already changed it then I could
not have been the only person who questioned it, and
EOTM would not have called him 'Soldier of Q' in a post
yesterday.
You may keep yourself up to date on the latest foolish
conspiracy theories, but I had absolutely no clue what
'Soldier of Q' could possibly mean. Until today, when I
looked for 'Soldier of Q' on Twitter. It is not a boxing
related Twitter account. It would not be unreasonable
for me or anyone to wonder if there was connection, or
to wonder why a young fighter would carelessly pick
a nickname that could be so easily misconstrued.
Your desperately going into panic control mode actually
makes you seem like an excitable Alex Jones yourself.
A non-boxing fan who watched the match told me that he thought it was a great fight. I told him it was not that good, it just seemed exciting because of the 'edge of your seat' aspect of seeing a revered MMA superstar try to beat the most famous boxer in recent years.
... Why **** on a non-fan's experience when they enjoyed the event?
Last I checked, the public story was that folks here wanted to see more people interested in watching boxing.
I never shat on his experience. He wanted my opinion, and I gave him the truth. If he thinks that was a good fight, then just wait til I show him some real classics! I'm not going to coddle people who want the truth. I'm glad they liked the taste of that fight, but it was beef jerky, not filet mignon.
