That's the excuse people will use when/if Eubank wins. Not I. I don't rate Groves highly, and I'd give Eubank the appropriate respect.

They've been doing this since the Blackwell fight, the narrative being is they are saving fighters from superman badly injuring them. The real reason Snr was telling Jnr to go to the body that night was because he didn't seem able to get Blackwell out of there with head shots. But the media never let the truth get in the way of a good story. Spot on. The Eubanks want to create the narrative that Junior is some kind of unstoppable freight train. Hence all the social media hype. The reality is that without all the hype around him, Jnr would be considered a very average boxer. He is a casuals wet dream.

How many times is this almost identical news story going to be posted? We’ve heard insults aimed at Dad, retirement, brain injuries.... I am not interested in any more hype until someone brings the other’s mama into the equation LOL truth. I swear this is like the 3rd or 4th time seeing this same thing, just worded slightly different in the last couple of days

I think an angle thats being missed in a lot of how we should view the Eubank promotional material is their standing in the current boxing climate in the UK. They have burned many bridges, many hate them Jr and the brothers career is basically riding entirely on him winning this and them forcing relevancy otherwise they will be pushed out to the fringes of fighting no namers in the arsehole of nowhere. This is all or nothing for them at the minute - but yeah the coverage has gotten ****ing grim, and many of the videos this week for some reason have has **** audio and ifls mic has ****ing died or something. Only worthwhile **** this week is good ol Kalle.
