I think the reason Williams isnt getting much spotlight from the casual fan is because most casual fans only really watch boxing on HBO and the last time Williams was on HBO he was on the wrong end of a UD from Quintana so the casual fan might lose interest after seeing that fight, if he wins impressivly against Phillips and looks good doing it then thatll could start to peak peoples interest
I see it, but I don't get that FSN. I only get FSN AZ. And the D-Backs are on
You didn't miss much, its the PPV teaser that they air before any of the fights start, its OnDemand. In the More Sports section along with the other PPV event previews
Not sure if this is related at all but on BoxRec they have MAB next fight scheduled against Humberto Soto for Sep 16 i dont think its legit though since the 16th is on a Tue but though i'd mention it
I think the fight your referring to already happened awhile ago
never Mind didnt read the question right half asleep
Not much was known about Martinez in the fight, not to many if any of his fights had been televised in the states, many thought Bunema would overwhelm him!
Yeah I know, the was in there meant past-tense... I'm currently DL'ing it again to give it another watch.
yeah i read it fast, my bad i edited my original post
Damn, i almost forgot about that, it was crazy, i read Adam Carolla invited Kellerman to the premiere of his movie about a boxer called "The Hammer" around the time that had happened too!
hopefully I find a spot out here...dont feel like shelling out the $$$ for pac/marg
I know, some of my co-workers were talking about all pitching in but I don't know how serious they are
you in Denver bro? Anytime I go anywhere, everyone is only into UFC...which I like too...but I'm a boxing dude...had to give in and get Showtime and HBO...no places show any fights...
Lol, ya same here except I don't dig on MMA. Usually I just go to the fams or just catch em on the downloads later.
I think if Williams wants this fight so bad his best chance at making it happen would be to fight Santos as it would give him more leverage and also make it a little more intriguing for Margarito, unless Santos is ducking him as well...
He is fighting the second best Jr Mw, if he wins. It could set up a fight with him and Forrest for ring title at Jr Mw.
true i just feel with a win over Santos he could say "I did what you couldn't" to Marg and i personally wouldn't mind see the two fight, and with the way Forrest has been towards Sergio Marinez lately I don't think hes to eager to fight another southpaw
