Floyd don't need a payday, Clottey did.
Help a poor brother out you know.
:luvbed:
LMAO,, so does Punisher, Desert Storm, and Sergio could all use a payday.....
Wow.. after reading all the Shane Criticism , point is Pac still refuses to get in the ring with Shane...but rather fight an opponent Shane mop the floor with....
I'm really surprised, as much cunningham loud mouth can go, he should be talking about this fight instead of Being on Bradley nuts all the time..
bump.............
WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan spoke with hometown paper, the Bolton News, and said his next fight on December 11 is almost sure to come against the winner of Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Juan Diaz. That all depends on who wins. Diaz has no desire to move up to 140-pounds and the fight against Khan is not that marketable. Marquez is the big favorite to win next Saturday. Most regard him as the frontrunner to face Khan.
I believe khans team paId money 2 maidana to step aside for a while. maidana won the wba interm title in june 2009 when he beat ortiz. its been more then a year since that fight, khan last had a wba mandatory defence in december 2009 against salita. this is why i have come to the conclusion that khan will fight maidana this december, he will not vacate because he knows he would look like a true pussy/duck if he did, would go against everything hes been saying recently. maidana probaby only stepped aside for a year max, and besides the wba will order this fight or khan will get stripped, trust me ppl, forget tim brad, marquez and all these other name that are coming out, its gunna khan v maidana in december, trust me.
leave ur thoughts, but i believe this is going to b the case, all my points on it,.
LETS GET IN ON !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everything Khan has done has already made him look like a ducker, Paying off Maidana, cmon...Everything he says he wants to do ends being something else...wanting the top 140 pounders, no go...wanting the tournament, no go..calling out Maidana, no go.. fights Casamayor at the end of last month, no go...just called out Bradley,, no go..how long are going to believe the hype? my bet he ends up taking the Casamayor fight at the end of the year, after Marquez refuses to take the fight....
I'm a fan of both fighters,,,and i give Bradley a chance at outworking any fighter outhere but not Floyd...if they were to fight, I'd give Bradley 3 to 4 rounds at best....Now for anyone to say Floyd kills, murder, inhaliates or whatever is just plain stupid... cmon keep it real guys ...Bradley derserves more respect than that.....
Not overhype for me why? Because he had some good wins at 140 to date and some very good performance outside of the United states of america.
Yes you would get a lot of people who just jumped on his bandwagon recently but overall (Since the Witter fight) he has done well, I hope he fights alexander next to get himself to the next level right under the Mayweather or Pacquiao level but as of now he shouldnt even be calling them out.
How does beating an Alexander give him a closer shot or level u say at Pac or May...? He ranked above him and has been for along time before Alexander was even ranked Bradely was the NO#1 fighter at 140....
Ortiz will walk through Bradley's pitty pats and land as many as him or more he will impress the jidges by landing harder shots or he will KO Bradley sooner or later through the fight lets be honest Bradley aint stopping Ortiz and Ortiz can keep up with the landing shots
*YAWN* Ortiz would quit again.....
Pac leading....
but PLEASE justify Bradley fighting Pacquiao. He hasn't even cleaned out 140. NOBODY has. Ortiz has been the only guy with some balls. hi Devon!!
.....Bradley has been ranked #1 fighter at 140 longer than Devon and Khan before they were ranked....so Bradley is more deserving than anybody at 140...
I agree! and I am a Devon Alexander fan, but Bradley is 26, I guess people forget that he was around when Manny was fighting at 140 along with Nate Campbell and Zahir Raheem, Bradley is not just some new young fighter, he been around for awhile and at 26 it is time for him to start getting bigger fights and bigger paydays
Bradley is the man at 140 not Alexander, not Khan, not Maidana, so it is not Bradley's job to chase down someone like Khan, if Bradley beats Abregu and looks impressive enough while doing it then I think you have to consider him "worthy" to get a match with the other top fighters at 147, maybe not Mayweather or Pacman right away but at least someone like Berto, Clottey, Jan Zaveck guys like that, if he beats Abregu I think he should go after Jan Zaveck title next THEN go after Berto for a unification bout
Great post as usual Sicko, glad to see hear some non biased fans here....would love to see Devon at 147, his south paw talents could take him very very far...
60/40 floyd full testing, is what is should be.....but i did choose the 7 day cutoff just because the 14 day was on the table when Pac backed out of the deal...
He also doesnt believe in fighting elite fighters.
Get off dat BS son....He's been calling out the elite...and if your talking about Devon, he is not ranked higher than Bradley and has yet to prove he is above Bradley....
Good for you Bradley, Great interview also,, True champions don't need catchweights, its a shame how fighters can still be called division champs when they can't even allow maximum weight limit......
Honestly i would like to hear a reason why pac would ask floyd for the ost if he ever wanted this, but its nothing to be pissed about knowing that both fighters are willing to participate in the same random blood testing. I really think Pac fans are making this random blood testing bigger than what it is...
My favourite @ 140 is Alexander BTW.
I like Devon too. but i think going after Bradley right now is too early for him..even the propose date Jan 29 could be too early for him. I feel he needs atleast a couple of solid fights then he could be ready...I still think Bradley wins tho...
Glad to see Bradley isnt being protected...
 What's with these Khan fans, you guys feelings are hurt...cause Bradley said Khan is the most protected fighter at 140,,,It's the TRUTH...face it....and now you want to discredit his opponent... A solid undefeated welteweight with good punching power, more dangerous than anybody on Khan's resume..and Bradley is taking the risk in stepping up in weight and facing a big puncher....and all this bullshit about Bradley ducking Devon is your only comeback  ..Bradley already said there's no problem making the fight with Devon, HBO has already said they want the fight in Jan, all they waiting on is how much money HBO is willing to put up...
Do you think Khan will ever step up to the plate @ 140?
I don't see it happening,, if it does, it'll be a long time...I really think GBP are gonna wait as long as they can before putting Khan in there with a real puncher...I would like Devon to make some noise at 147, i feel he going to have a difficult time getting fights at 140 the same way Bradley was..hopefully HBO can put out enough money for the Jan 29 date..
i see khan fightin maidana this year, i made a post on my reasons, but the main 1 is hbo is droppin boring fights at the moment, so khan will have 2 face a decent opponent, and it wont be marquez, trust me, there saying it but it will be, but it wont, all my points on it.
It'll be Marquez........
According to Edgar Gonzalez's FLOYD MAYWEATHER VS SERGIO MARTINEZ.
"During the post fight press conferance, many questioned Floyd if the Pacquiao fight doesn’t happen who’s next. To my surprise Team Mayweather suggested of moving up to 160-pounds to fight WBC/WBO middleweight champion Sergio Martinez."
http://www.myboxingfans.com/2010/05/floyd-mayweather-vs-sergio-martinez-next/
Floyd will not only make bank fighting Sergio but he will make history and add to his legacy.
This just show Floyd don't need Manny, Floyd will out due Manny no matter what happens,,, Floyd can face Martinez and it will be alot bigger than any Pac cherry picked opponents....Floyd still wins...
