48 and 49 year old Bernard whooped guys who are nowhere near as buff as Jaron
but was still a MYTHICAL FEAT to be that good at that age
Bernard Hopkins was fighting 30 year old guys not 50 year olds, and was looking great in those fights, thats why its amazing. and he was fighting elite fighters, Kovalev, Pavlik, Pascal, Dawson.
Been fascinated for ages with Greb, what a fighter. Once every few years I always start to research for his videos online, just to see if anyone ever reported any findings, but nothing, and unfortunately after 100 years it wont happen.
Could they do it 20 times in one year?, with injuries?
Dont think they will do it 20 times in one year. Not because of injuries only though, but they are paid to much nowadays.
Fighters of today will adjust to the 15 rounds as well, obviously not all can make it. Mayweather will go 15 rounds easy as he always did in the 12 rounds, while Canelo nooot pretty sure he can make it, and more fighters are capable of doing it.
Fighters of the past also ducked each other, Jack Dempsey might have ducked Harry Greb (there is an 'interview' where Dempsey said he wanted nothing of Greb), Floyd Patterson's management didn't want him to fight Sonny Liston (although they fought twice) and for sure there are other occasions.
I don't think he beats either if those two.
Dude was KO'd by a 50 year old.
And if you think he was over covid in the rematch I question if you even watch boxing???
So you think that Whyte doesn't beat both Helenius and Otto Wallin?
Against Fury he wont even get near Tyson let alone win.
ye ai like chisora would like him to win but just cant see it as he struggled in their first fight years ago now hes older and more worn out
He gave us a good response back at least :D glad he won the fight and it was a great fight as well.
AJ is a gold medalist so that one was already a plus for him to be liked by people. Tyson Fury in the beginning of his career was uppercutting himself during fights, plus his body shape didn't help him much as well. But later on in his career I believe that Tyson became the people's champ a bit more than AJ.
They always get a better deal than the USA. The whole world gets a better deal, most countries show boxing for free while in the USA it's PPV.
I don't think they are poor, but after the price is raised once it will surely continue to raise until they are paying some 50 or 60 British pounds for a fight they used to watch for 10. They know where this is headed.
This one right here.. Same with shows, few years ago they were much cheaper. Now the prices are same like you have a VIP table (small local shows not huge fights)
There is a possibility now unfortunately. His last fight GGG was huffing and buffing from the first couple of rounds.
And this fight will be at 168lbs not 160lbs.
Chisora comes straight at his opponents but sometimes he stays a lot on the ropes as well when he gets tired.
Depends as well what Wilder has left in him after those hard fights with Fury. but I believe that Wilder is too much for Chisora
Yeah. I'll have to go and look at Mugia and JCC, but did Mungia rehydrate more than 20 pounds? I'm looking but can't find any info.
But let's look at a light heavyweight that rehydrates a lot compared to other guys, which is Pascal. Here Pascal rehydrated 19 pounds, which is huge and pushes the envelope. Nineteen pounds is typically the max that I see guys rehydrate. Jack rehydrated 16 pounds, which is usually where most guys rehydrate.

Well you just mentioned Jean Pascal, some time later he got caught using steroids.
He's been around since forever but never fought anyone of note to make a name for himself. He fought Arthur Abraham back in 2016 but it was nothing special.
Were you not one of the idiots saying Canelo would beat Usyk "easily"
Nope you can search till forever I never said that haha. and never will as I'm not an idiot to say that stupid sh*t.
And I never said that Canelo will beat Bivol (and never said that Bivol will beat Canelo) as I followed Bivol for a very long time, knew his skills and he was already calling the big names since his debut.
You know who will say Canelo beat Usyk, someone that has an IQ of a table.
No way Thurman fights Ennis. He wouldn't fight Spence when he was coming up, why would he fight another up and Comer.
Thurman would fight Broner before Ennis.
Broner still fighting? With Ennis I dont believe it will be even close for Thurman, he always got hurt in the body and Ennis can throw good punches better then Josesito Lopez and Bundu
When I see these threads, I want to vomit on the keyboard. You know that spence fights at 147lbs right?
Like saying chocolatito can beat Spence.. again, there is weight classes for a reason.
