"Meanwhile, the imposing and magnetic Shannon Briggs drew the crowds, children hugging his legs as if grabbing hold of a tree trunk.
The New Yorker himself got to grips with all the hospitality the Welsh capital could offer, his presence a unique show-stopper even on the city's notorious St Mary's Street.
Although we tried to explain, the man targeting Vitali Klitschko could not quite grasp why the Welsh public seemed to think he was related to Jason Lee and thought he had a pineapple on his head"
LOL
Gonna do my upmost best to make it however the £ is so ****ing weak at the moment it's the only thing stopping me from going over.
I'll update when the dates get revealed
Who's it for Oscar - Manny?
Yeah it's being aired tonight sometime. Not sure what the time difference is so hoping someone is gonna post a link up at some point.
OK Hatton vs Pacman at 140 regardless of the outcomes of their up and coming fights?
I'd personally prefer this because DLH vs Hatton at 147 is bad for Hatton where as if he fights Pacman at 140 (a weight I think Manny will be comfortable at) it will be an all out war and the winner will surely be crowned the best Jr Welterweight in the world.
If this happens at Wembley I think it has potential to be one of the best fights this decade :P
I watched it and thought it was pretty strange he never embraced her as she travelled all the way upstairs to come see him (seen as she is pregnant). I like the way Manny was upstairs singing Kareoke and having a party with his boys while he kept his wife all locked up downstairs in the basement LOL. Then she had to travel all the way upstairs just to see him and even then he gave her the stare down as if to say 'get back in yo cage bitch'
Obviously I have over exhaggerated immensely bit still the more I think about it the more amusing it seems to get.
Big up Pacman every time
The last part of that segment was lifted from Granada TV. Not known for it's boxing exclusives. It could be some no-mark reporter trying to make a name for himself on a hunch.
Exactly, the clip wasn't even part of Sky Sports it was taken from some shitty northern news channel called Granada which i'm sure half of the UK haven't even heard of.
I wouldn't hold your breath people it's quite likely this is complete dogpoo.
NICE!..
who you rooting for homie?..
I think it'll get anywhere from 900k-1.25mil PPV buys..that's my guesstimation..
I'm just rooting for a real 12 round war.
So hard to call but deep down I am a big Pacquiao fan so I guess I will be rooting for him inside the mgm.
Just hope this doesn't get cancelled or anything because that will really piss me off.
I think the most important question here you homos is will this lady sing the national anthem for the Philippines ?
:wank:

not everyone has the money to go to fights but that doesnt make them any less of a fan then a guy in the 1st row.money has nothing to do with the thread question and the majority of pr fans are very well educated on the sport.
This is what i'm thinking. 8 of us Brits are travelling to the Pac/Cotto fight but that is only because we have a kind of luxury to be able to afford it. Just think if every country had the same kind of wealth (?) as Britain then I am sure it would be the same with Mexicans, Puerto Ricans ect.
Having said that a cpl of my mates are on the breadline myself included for this trip. I'm having to sacrafice a whole lot of shit just to make this journey.
If you compare Puerto Rico's currency to the £ you will realise life is much more harder on their side of things making it much more difficult for them to travel to the other side of the world.
well ya cud say im biased, but i'd still say Brits regardless. Hell we're famous for supporting our sporting heroes regardless of weather they win or lose ( even whether theyre shit or not haha)
Haha good post. This just reminds me of a conversation I was having at work the other day with a friend who travels all around the world watching England play. He went to Kazackstan (sp) the other month and pretty much every qualifier/friendly. Seriously I am passionate about football but England have become so depressing to watch in recent times I think i'd rather shit in my hands and clap than travel all around the world for them.
Boxing tho..... :headbang:
