Roy Jones could have been (argumentably) labelled as the GOAT if he had retired after the ruiz fight. Now contrary to Bhop, if he retired after the back to back setback against jermain taylor, he could have been forgotten by now.
Manny Pacquiao could have been the best of his generation if floyd was brave enough to fight him (granting manny wins). Same thing goes with floyd. If only he got balls to fight manny, he could have been TBE.
So if all retires now, ill rank them like this:
1. BHop
2. Pacman
3.Floyd
4. Roy jones
I don't think a bunch of Pacquiao fans who in all likelihood don't even live in PPV regions agreeing to not buy Floyd fights had much of an impact on the sales tbh :lol1:

You floydiots still dont get. You call him TBE but he's not fighting the best possible opponent at a given time. Ali fought everybody, even beat the odds against foreman. Pacquiao fought beyond his limits by fighting oscar, cotto and margarito. And what floyd does? He cherry picks and stays in his comfort zone. There's nothing else left for floyd in 147, let alone fighting a 140 hahaha that'sthe TBE for you? The boxing world knows that he can easily beat pacquiao, but his phobia of the pacman is mind blowing.
So the fight between a 154 champ against a 140 titlist is obviously not OK. Remember the marquez fight? And garcia is nowhere near jmm.
But pacquiao vs garcia is definitely a good fight because of their style.
And again, floyd beats pac easily but his cowardice gave it all away. And history will remember that and the best ever will regret that forever. Shame.
Al haymon's list doesnt matter. He's just a manager. It's the promoter who creates money for the fighter. Can Al haymon offer danny garcia 3M. I dont think so but GBP and Top rank can easily do that. At the end of the day, the fighter will go to the promoter who can offer them the biggest dolla (granting they are not signed with any promoter). And as a manager, Al should not be a hindrance and should always look for the biggest opportunities for his fighters. They said he's a good manager, so he should know that already.
Because like with all sports, nothing is guaranteed. As a Floyd fan I will order the fight because I enjoy his style and I enjoy watching his fights. By your logic nobody should have been in the stadium or watching when Mike Tyson took his first loss to Buster Douglas.

Maidana has a better chance than both if he does the right things. There is a possibility maidana takes Floyd to the brink.
And what's the basis of your assessment, his win against broner? Broner didnt use his legs on that fight. Maidana is very dangerous if you trade punches with him. And you think floyd will do that? Devon and Floyd are different stylistically and Maidana is much improved since that fight, people need to stop bringing up Maidanas losses to Devon/Khan like they mean something other than 2 L on his record, because they really don't.

Maidana hits harder than Canelo, better stamina, and is better at cutting the ring off. He has improved greatly and has a very awkward style, punches from weird angles. He also has a very good left hand which Cotto also has.
And Alexander is better than floyd. You guys crack me up :rofl:
So what are you excited about then? Floyd has done those to some greater boxers with the same style. We all know why maidana has been cherry picked for. Well I may say that it's a good circus show for a floyd fan, but for a boxing fan, pac-bradley or cotto-martinez or both or any other championship fights are more worthy of my penny. Oscar doesnt like floyd from the start. But schaefer has made GBP a mayweather outfit. Mayweather is just using Oscar's company for his own benefit and GBP is not profiting much on floyd's fights. Under mayweather's terms, floyd's fights are not a good business for the goldenboy promotion. So screw floyd... screw schaefer... and al haymon...
Wow that is a big list of champions that floyd has conquered. But all of those names doesnt matter because his legacy will be judged by the fights he didnt take. I dont see him landing in the top 30 atg list. Pacquiao will be rated higher than him for sure. 20 years from now when all of floyd's money, fame and friends are gone and what's left are his worthless belts, he would bang his head on his shoulder roll so hard regretting why he didnt fight and beat the pacman.
